BITUMINOUS MACADAM: Proving and laying bituminous macadam using crushed aggregates of Grading 1, premixed with bituminous binder, transported to site with VTS, laid over a previously prepared surface, finished to the required grade, level, alignment, and rolling to achieve the desired compaction for 80/100mm compacted thickness with 3.3 % using specified grade of Bitumen. -- USING Batch mix type hot mix plant with SCADA, Sensor Paver, vibratory roller.(VG-30 bulk bitumen rates are considered to arrive at rates) (Item No. 3.40)

DENSE BITUMINOUS MACADAM: Proving and laying dense bituminous macadam using crushed aggregates of Grading 1, premixed with bituminous binder of specified grade of Bitumen @ 4.50 per cent by weight of total mix and filler, transported to site with VTS, laid over a previously prepared surface, finished to the required grade, level, alignment, and rolling to achieve the desired density for 76-100mm compacted thickness .USING Batch mix type hot mix plant with SCADA, Sensor Paver, Vibratory roller with Stone Dust filler.(VG-30 bulk bitumen rates are considered to arrive at rates) (Item No. 3.44)

BITUMINOUS CONCRETE:-Providing and laying bituminous concrete using crushed aggregates of grading 1, premixed with bituminous binder @ 5.20 per cent by weight of total mix and filler, transported to site with VTS, laid over a previously prepared surface, finished to the required grade, level, alignment, and rolling to achieve the desired compaction for 50mm compacted thickness with specified grade of Bitumen, Excluding prime/tack coat. For Bitumen of specified grade -- USING Batch mix type hot mix plant with SCADA, Sensor Paver, Vibratory roller with Stone Dust filler.(VG-30 bulk bitumen rates are considered to arrive at rates) (Item No. 3.48)

Providing and laying White Topping as per IRC-SP 76-2015 over bituminous surface(Existing bituminous surface preparation to be done if necessary either by milling or levelling course with BM/DLC to correct surface profile and to be paid separately) with unreinforced M-40 grade Pavement Quality Concrete using Ordinary Portland Cement(OPC 43/OPC 53-Grade) at 357kg/cum and 105kgs of Fly Ash(Replacement of Fly Ash to the extent of 15% and Fine aggregate by 10%) coarse aggregate, fine aggregate and Admixture confirming to IS 9130-1999(R-2004) polymeric synthetic fibre as per ASTM(1116) such as polyester/polyethylene/polypropylene/Glass fibre at 1.20kg/cum, mixed in batching and mixing plant or weigh batcher as per approved mix design to achieve minimum flexural strength or modulus of rupture of concrete 4.50 MPa at 28 days limiting maximum water cement ratio to 0.40, transported to site, laid with mechanical paver finisher, spread, vibrated, compacted and finished in a continuous operation to the lines and grades as per drawing, texture finishing of surface, spraying two layers of curing compound, curing with water sprayed on hessian cloth covered over concrete surface, groove cutting grid 1m x 1m to a depth of 1/3 of the Thickness and of width 3-5mm as per design including cost of all material, side form work, sealing joints labour and HOM of machineries etc. complete as per specifications.. Providing and fixing Cautionary/Warning sign boards in Octagone size of 900mm out of 2mm aluminum sheet bonded with white retro reflective sheeting of Class B(Type IV High intensity micro-prismatic grade sheeting-HIP) having pressure sensitive/heat activated adhesive retoreflective specified back ground, border and back side retoreflctive symbols, letters, numerals, arrow as per IRC:67-2012 Table No 8.3 Supported with back support frame 25mm x 25mm x 3mm, duly painted on back side with grey stove enamel paint and supported on one no. of M. S. angle iron post of size 65mm X 65mm X 6mm, 3.45m long, duly painted with with flat oil paint having alternate black and white bands of 25cm width including G.I. fixtures etc; fixing the boards in M25 grade concrete block of size 60cm X 60cm X 75cm including transportation etc; complete. Providing and fixing of retro-reflectorised informatory sign board rectangular/Square in shape having area less than 0.9 square metre made out of 4mm aluminum composite material sheet bonded with white retro reflective sheeting of Class B(Type IV High intensity micro-prismatic grade sheeting-HIP) having pressure sensitive/heat activated adhesive retoreflective specified back ground, border and back side retoreflctive symbols, letters, numerals, arrow as per IRC:67-2012 Table No 8.3, supported with back support frame 25mm x 25mm x 3mm, duly painted on back side with two coats of grey stove enamel paint and supported on one no. mild steel angle iron post 75mm x 75mm x 6mm, 3.5 mt long firmly fixed to the ground by means of properly designed foundation with M25 grade cement concrete 45cm x 45cm x 60cm, 60cm below ground level as per approved drawing The angle iron post shall be duly painted with one coat of epoxy primer and two coats of epoxy finish paints having alternate black and white bands of 25cm width including GI fixures and transportation etc.complete.The nut bolts of board with angle iron post/supporting structure after fixing at site has to be electrically welded. Providing and Laying hot applied thermoplastic road marking strip on Bituminous Surface of specified shade/colour of 2.5mm thick including 1.5 Refractive index reflectorizing glass beads @ 250gm/sqm .Thickness of 2.5mm is exclusive of surface applied glass beads as per IRC 35:2015. Initial Dry reflectivity RL shall be > 250 mcd/sqm/lux measured in the initial 7 days and sustained reflectivity RL of 100 mcd/sqm/lux and Qd of 100 mcd/sqm/lux measured at the end of 2 years by means of a Standard Reflectometer of Zehntner, Easylux, Delta make capable of measuring RL & QD both according to IRC 35:2015 clause 15.5. The finished surface to be level, uniform, and free from streaks and holes complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge and in accordance with applicable specifications.(Refer MORTH Clause 803 for technical Specification and Performance for IRC 35:2015). Supplying and Fixing of Molded Shank Raised Pavement Markers/Cat's Eye made of polycarbonate and ABS moulded body and reflective panels with micro prismatic lens capable of providing total internal reflection of the light entering the lens face and shall support a load of 16000kg tested in accordance to ASTM D 4280 Type H and complying to Specifications of Category A of MORTH Circular No RW/NH/33023/10-97 DO III Dt 11.06. 1997. The height, width and length shall not exceed 50mm, 100mm and 102 +/-2mm and with minimum reflective area of 13 Sqcm on each side and the slope to the base shall be 35 +/-5 degree. The strength of detachment of the integrated cylindrical shanks, (of diameter not less than 19 +/-2mm and height not less than 30+/-2mm) from the body is to be a minimum value of 500 Kg. Fixing will be by drilling holes on the road for the shanks to go inside, without nails and using epoxy resin based adhesive as per manufacturer's recommendation and complete as directed by the engineer.The contractor shall submit a two year warranty for satisfactory field performance including stipulated retro-reflectance of the reflecting panel, to the Engineer.
