The formwork / shuttering for providing construction joints in concrete shall not be measured seperately and the contractor to include it in his quoted rate. (2) The shuttering (plywood panels / sheets) shall be so laid that the joints in both the directions are in one line, the pattern for which will be got approved. (3) The centering and shuttering, formwork shall be designed & submitted by the contractor to the Engineer-in-charge for approval prior to commencement of work. Form work shall be properly designed for self weight, weight of reinforcement, weight of fresh concrete, and in addition, the various live loads likely to be imposed during the construction process (such as workmen, materials and equipment). 4) The completed form work including the alignment, levels, profile etc. shall be inspected and approved by the Engineer-in-Charge before the reinforcement bars are placed in position.

Supplying, Assembling, fabricating, inspecting, testing, packaging, hoisting / erecting and fixing in position at indicated locations in RCC / Masonry/ Formwork, Stainless Steel Embedded Parts (EPs) (conforming to 304 L grade) of various sections such as plates, pipes etc. and in required sizes including mechanical transportation, aligning, fixing in position, providing necessary supporting arrangements etc. complete all as per drawings and specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. The work includes preparation of fabrication drawings, documentation, safe delivery of materials to the project site etc. during civil construction. The work includes preparation of fabrication drawings, collection of Purchaser's Free Issue Materials, supply of requisite materials other than Purchaser's free issue materials (FIM), documentation, safe delivery to the project site, return of balance of FIM / scrap and erection during civil construction. Providing and Laying 60 mm thick factory made cement concrete interlocking paver blocks of M-30 grade made with strong vibratory compaction and approved size, shape, design laid in required colour and pattern over and including 50 mm thick compacted bed of crushed sand, filling the joints with crushed sand etc. all complete as -per the direction of the Engineer-in- Charge
Providing & fixing G.I. chicken mesh in the junctions of brickwork/masonry or as directed by Engineer in charge including cutting, fixing with nails in position before plastering complete all as directed by Engineer in charge. (Only area of the chicken mesh used alone will be measured).
Conducting Water tightness / Hydro test for water retaining structures including all labour, materials, tools, equipment, services and including the following : (i) Testing of all water retaining structures for water tightness shall be carried out in accordance with Clause No. 12 of IS : 3370 (Part 1) : 2009 & and Appendix G of AERB/SS/CSE-1 (AERB CODE) to the satisfaction of the Engineer-in-charge. (ii) Providing and installing all supplementary or miscellaneous appurtenances and devices incidental for testing purpose (iii) Preparatory works, methodology statement & conducting water tightness test with prior approval from the Engineer-in-charge (iv) Preparing & submitting necessary reports with results recorded in a systematic manner (v) testing, re-testing, patching and repair as required to meet watertightness requirements Note : a) The contractor shall be responsible for testing, re-testing, patching and repair as required to meet watertightness requirements for the water retaining structures. b) The water required for carrying out the test shall be arranged by the Contractor without any extra cost to the Owner c) The net volume of water occupied by the structure shall be measured for payment.
Providing and laying integral cement based treatment for water proofing on horizontal surfaces at all levels / depths as directed by the Engineer-in-charge and consisting of (i) Ist layer of 22 mm to 25 mm thick approved and specified Rough stone slab over a 25 mm thick base of C.M 1:3 (using coarse River sand) mixed with water proofing compound confirming to IS : 2645 in the proportion recommended by the manufacturer over levelling course, (Levelling course to be paid for separately). Joints sealed and grouted with cement slurry mixed with waterproofing compound. (ii) 2nd layer of 25 mm thick C.M 1:3 (using coarse river sand) mixed with water proofing compound in recommended proportions. (iii) Finishing top with stone aggregate of 10 mm to 12 mm nominal size spreading@ 8 cudm / sq.m thoroughly embedded in the 2nd layer In horizontal areas below raft etc. as detailed hereunder using Rough Shahabad Stone (using coarse sand)
Providing and laying integral cement based treatment for water proofing on the vertical surface by fixing specified stone slab 20 mm thick with cement slurry mixed with water proofing compound confirming to IS 2645 in recommended proportions with a gap of 20 mm (minimum) between stone slabs and the receiving surfaces and filling the gaps with neat cement slurry mixed with water proofing compound and finishing the exterior of the stone slab with C.M 1:4 (using coarse sand) 20 mm thick with neat cement punning mixed with water proofing compound in recommended proportion complete at all levels and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge In vertical areas, retaining walls, etc. using Rough Shahabad Stone (using TAPI sand)
Providing and placing in position suitable PVC water stops of approved make conforming to IS 12200 for construction / expansion joints between two RCC Members and fixed to the reinforcement with binding wire before pouring concrete etc. complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge 150 mm wide water stopper
