SCHEDULE 'A' PART-I (B/R WORKS)

Excavation in trenches not exc. 1.5 metre wide and not exc. 1.5 metre in depth and getting out as in soft/loose soil for foundation etc complete all as directed by the Engr-in-Charge.

All as per item no 1.00 but for each additional 1.5m or part thereof in depth beyond the first 1.50 m complete all as directed.

Excavation over areas, n.exc 1.5m deep and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as directed.

All as per item no 1.03 but for each additional 1.5m or part thereof in depth beyond the first 1.50 m complete all as directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading levelling watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm in thick as in soft/loose soils complete all as directed by the Engr-in-Charge.

Demolition of brick work or stone / boulder masonary or precast concrete block walling , built in cement mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars, etc but exclusing ashlar facings, dressed stoneswork and precast concrete articles complete all as direcetd.

Demolition of reinforced cement concrete of any description and in any position such as pre-cast manhole cover or cover slab of septic tanks etc (reinforcement cut as required to facilitate demolition) complete all as directed by the Engr-in-Charge.

Demolition / Dismantling and breaking up of drain pipes (AC or PVC or SWR) 110mm bore (Internal), set in cement mortar all as directed by the Engr-in-Charge.

Demolition / Dismantling and breaking up of drain pipes (Salt glazed stone ware or reinforced cement concrete) 150 mm bore (Internal), set in cement mortar including taking out from trenches and removing from site all as directed by the Engr-in-Charge.

Demolition of cement concrete (un-reinforced )of any description and in any position not specifically provided for complete all as directed by the Engr-in-Charge.

Taking down cement plaster on brick or stone walls or concrete surface, including racking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water etc complete all as specified and directed by the Engr-in-Charge.

Taking down rainwater pipes (any size or pattern) including all fittings, heads , shoes, bends, swan necks etc including cleaning or refixing or removal to store (measured overall as fixed along the centre line over fittings and accessories) complete all as specified and directed by the Engr-in-Charge.

Material & labour for precast PCC 1:3:6 type C1 (by using 20mm graded stone aggregate) block masonry with solid blocks, exc 10 cm in width and setting in CM 1:6 complete all as specified and as directed by the Engr-in-Charge.

Material & labour for RCC 1:2:4 type B-1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) as in manhole covers etc including necessary form work and set in CM 1:4 complete all as specified and as directed. NOTE : Reinforcement shall be measured and paid separately.

Material & labour for RCC (1:2:4), type B-1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) ( nominal mix) as in cover slab of septic tank, slabs, supported on walls, beams & column etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Material & labour for Mild steel TMT bars 10mm dia and over cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking , bending spirally for hooping for columns , hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9 mm dia or securing with clips. complete all as specified & as directed.

Material & labour for Mild steel TMT bars 6mm to 8mm dia cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking , bending spirally for hooping for columns , hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9 mm dia or securing with clips complete all as specified & as directed.

Material & labour for PCC (1:3:6), type C-2 (using 40mm graded stone aggregate) as in foundations, filling and mass concrete complete all as specified & as directed.

Material & labour for PCC (1:3:6), type C-1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) as in coping including necessary formwork complete all as specified & as directed.

Material and labour for stone walling of random rubble, uncoursed, well bonded, bedded and solidly hearted, built in cement mortar (1:6) including brought up to courses complete all as specified and as directed by the Engr-in-Charge.

All as per item No 21 here-in-before but except stone. NOTE:- Stone boulders obtained from item No 1.07 here-in-before shall be re-used.

Labour only for hand packing (any thickness) at back of retaining wall with broken stone or boulders and raising (or lowering) to required level complete, all as specified. NOTE:- Stone boulders obtained from item No 1.07 here-in-before shall be re-used.

Material & labour for rendering 15 mm thick in CM (1:3) with using water proofing compound @ of 3% by weight of cement on fair faces of brick or concrete surfaces, finished even & fair with using extra cement complete all as directed. Note :- Water proofing compound shall be measured & paid separately.

Material & labour for rendering 15 mm thick in CM (1:4) on other than fair faces of brick or concrete surfaces, finished even & fair with using extra cement complete all as directed.

M & L for PCC 1:3:6 type C-2 (by using 40 mm graded stone aggregate) as in bed to drain pipes 150 mm bore, including packing under and haunching against the sides of pipes after they are laid and tested, complete all as specified and directed by the Engr-in-Charge..

M & L for PCC 1:3:6 type C-2 (by using 40 mm graded stone aggregate) as in bed to drain pipes 100 mm bore, including packing under and haunching against the sides of pipes after they are laid and tested, complete all as specified and directed by the Engr-in-Charge..

Material & labour for cutting into existing manholes for connecting new drains (internal dia pipe 150mm), making good to pipe and rendering, cutting out existing benching for and forming branch channel (1/2 round or 3/4 section) in cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-1 smooth finished, and reforming benching all as directed by the Engr-in-Charge.

Material & labour for cutting into existing manholes for connecting new drains (internal dia pipe 100mm), making good to pipe and rendering, cutting out existing benching for and forming branch channel (1/2 round or 3/4 section) in cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-1 smooth finished, and reforming benching all as directed by the Engr-in-Charge.

Cleaning of blocked sewage line 150mm bore by rodding with using sectional sewer rod / flexible sewer rod /steel rod or split bamboo stick thoroughly from both sides between adjacent manholes / inspection chamber to manholes of any depth and size including well flushing with water till clear flow of sewage line is observed including taking out sludge & other foreign particles from manhole & pipe lines and buried in earth pits and spreading and including of bleaching powder @ 1kg/sqm over the sludge before filling of earth in layer of 30 cm complete all as specified and to the entire satisfaction of Engr-in-Charge.

All as per ser item No 1.30 above but sewage line of 100/110mm bore. Notes for Ser item No 1.30 & 1.31 (i) Length of manhole to manholes shall be measured in these item. (ii) Cleaning of sewage line to be started from down stream side, in this operation some pipe line will be cleaned automatically and need not to be cleaned by rodding and the same shall not be measured for payment. (iii) The unit rate of the item shall be deemed to include the removal of sludge / waste water accumulated in manhole / inspection chamber due to cleaning of drain by rodding. (iv) Water required for cleaning the sewage line are the responsibility of the contractor and no extra payment will be made in this regard. (v) Cost of bleaching powder and lime deemed to be included in unit rate.

Cleaning of septic tank , soakage well of any size by removing of sludge from inside the septic tank and removing to a distance exc. 250m but not exc. 500m and buried the same in to earth pits including excavation of earth pits of required size & depth, depositing & spreading of sludge, returning in filling earth over sludge with & including bleaching powder @ 1 Kg/sqm and removal of surplus soil to a distance not exc. 50m all complete as specified and as directed. NOTE : Earth to be filled over the pit over bamboo matting after sufficient absorption of liquid for a period of 48 hours and spreading of bleaching powder over the sludge before earth filling as directed by the Engr-in-Charge. Cost of bamboo matting, spreading of bleaching powder and excavating the earth pit and filling earth etc shall be included in the unit rate as quoted and size of pit shall be made accordingly as directed by Engr-in-Charge. The measurement of sludge shall be taken as per size of earth pit with actual depth of sludge deposited in the earth pit after initial settlement of 48 hours.

Cleaning of blocked gully trap/floor trap etc of any size by rodding thoroughly to manhole and well flushing with water after cleaning and including remove of sludge and other materials obtained from cleaning, garbage to a pit made for this purpose and filling up to the earth complete all as specified and as directed.

Cleaning of blockages of WHB, EWC etc of any size by rodding thoroughly to manhole and well flushing with water after cleaning and including remove of sludge and other materials obtained from cleaning, garbage to a pit made for this purpose and filling up to the earth complete all as specified and as directed.

Cleaning of blocked man holes up to 60cm depth by removing of sludge from inside and removing to a distance exc 200m but no exc. 500m and buried the same in to earth pits including excavation of earth pits of required size & depth, depositing & spreading of sludge, returning in filling earth over sludge and removal of surplus soil to a distance not exc. 50m complete all as specified and as directed.

All as per item No 1.35 above but exc 0.60Metre but nexc.1.50Metre in deep.

Notes for Ser item No 1.35 to 1.37 (i) The unit rate of the item shall be deemed to include the removal of sludge / waste water accumulated in manhole / septic tank / soakage chamber. (ii) Water required for cleaning the sewage line are the responsibility of the contractor and no extra payment will be made in this regard. (iii) Cost of bleaching powder and lime deem led to be included in unit rate.

Dismantling floor, hearth or wall tiling including cement mortar bedding (but not backing) removing serviceable tiles to store and rubbish off the premises all as directed by the Engr-in-Charge.

Material & labour for non- skid Ceramic plain coloured tiles 7 to 8 mm thick (square / rectangular) conforming to IS 13712 grade B-II (a), approved make and colour shade, area of each tile exc 0.11 sqm but not exc 0.18 sqm , in floors etc set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match over & including screed bed or bedding layer 15 mm thick in CM 1:6 complete all as specified.

Material & labour for glazed ceramic coloured tiles of size 300 x 200 mm x 7 mm thick fixed on vertical surfaces such as dado / skirting, raiser to steps etc conforming to IS - 13712 grade IB-III set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match, over and including screed bed / backing layer of 10 mm thick in cement mortar (1:4) complete all as specified & as directed.

Material and labour for Lacquer coated precast chequered cment concrete tiles made with grey cement and pigment of size 300 x 300 x 25 mm thick as in pavement / footpath, set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed with cement laid over and including screed bed/ bedding layer of 15mm thick in cement mortar (1:4) complete all as directed.

Supply & fix as in repair 10 litre capacity low level PVC flushing cistern (any colour), syphonic action type, with inlet, ball valve, float, handle, fixed with cast iron bracket (of suitable size) and providing 32 mm dia PVC flush pipe and making all necessary connections complete (excluding PVC connection pipe) as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Make : Hindware Model SLEEK ESSENCE DUAL FLUSH or equivalent approved make.

Supply and fixing white vitreous china wash down water closet pan (pedestal pattern) EWC, of size 570 x 460 x 380 mm with ‘P’ or `S' trap, including fixing bolts, Plastic water closet seat and cover, closed pattern with flat bottom, and mild steel chromium plated or aluminium anodised hinging device, making all necessary connections and making good the disturbed surfaces of floor complete all as specified and as directed. Make Cera Cat No. S1050106 S Trap Cat no.B1510120 Ceraanglo deluxe seat cover or equivalent approved make.

Supply and fix in repair Vitreous China squatting pan of ‘Orissa pattern’, of size 580 mm x 440mm (white) with integral foot rest‘P’ or ‘S’ trap, front or back inlet, any pattern (excluding flushing cistern and flush pipe) including connection to trap and flushing pipe anti syphon pipe etc complete including provision of PCC bedding and connection to trap, and to flushing pipe, antisyphonage pipe, etc. complete including making good to floor all as specified and directed by the Engr-in-Charge. Make : Hindware Cat No. 20042 or equivalent approved make.

Supply and fix in repairs vitreous china, white colour, flat back, wash hand basin of size 55 x 40 x 79cm fixed with brackets , including providing 32 mm dia PVC waste pipe , 32 mm bore CP waste coupling and making all necessary connections complete as directed.Make : Hindware Cat No. 10100 or equivalent approved make.

Supply and fix in repairs vitreous China (white) flat back urinal of size 465 x 355 x 265 mm, including providing and fixing plugs, bedding the urinal against wall in cement mortar 1:2, securing urinal to plugs with and including 60mm long brass screws, pointing around urinal back in cement and providing grating and union for discharge pipe including 32mm bore PVC discharge pipe complete all as specified and as directed. Make : Cera Cat No. 5001 or equivalent make as specified in list of makes.

Supply and fixed in repairs 15mm bore pillar taps, fancy type with long neck with aerator cast copper alloy with capstan head, chromium plated, screwed down, high pressure with long screwed shanks, fly-nuts, with screwed for GI pipe complete all as specified and as directed. Make : JAQUAR Code CON-011KN or equivalent approved make.

Supply & fix in repair 15 mm bore angular Stop cocks,chromium plated, with wall flange screwed down, screwed fro iron pipe or union and complete all as directed. JAQUAR Code- CON 059 KN or equivalent approved make.

Supply & fix in repair Bib tap , cast copper alloy, chromium plated with crutch or butterfly handle, screwed down for 15mm bore GI Pipe or for brass ferrule including taking down old unserviceable one. Make : JAQUAR Code : CON059KN or equivalent approved make.

Material and labour for PCC (1:3:6) type C-2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in surface channels and drains including forming fair finished to drain channel complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Extra for forming fair finished drain or channel 30cm inner girth in cement concrete using extra cement including form, moulds, mitrred/stopped ends complete all as specified and as directed.

Add or deduct for each 25 mm girth or part thereof over or under 30cm ditto
