Construction of embankment with approved material obtained from borrow pits Construction of embankment with approved material obtained from borrow pits with all lifts and leads, transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slope and compacting to meet requirement of table 300-2.

Earthwork in cutting or in embankment in ordinary soil, excavation to be in the from of regular pits not exceeding ½ metre (20") in depth & earthwork in embankment to be in 20 cm (8") layers, including ramming & dressing the surface to required levels and slopes and also including 1.5 metre (5ft) lifts and 30 m (100") lead. The earth from cutting to be used in making embankment or to be deposited as spoil banks with 30 metres (100 ft) distance as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. As per SOR item 253

Providing and laying of stress abosbing membrane over a cracked road surface, with crack width 6 to 9 mm after cleaning macanical broom, using modified binder complying with IRC:SP:53, sprayed at the rate of 11 kg per 10 sqm and spreading 11.2 mm crushed stone aggregate @0.12 cum per 10 sqm, sweeping the surface for uniform spread of aggregates and surface finished to conform toclause 902.

Providing and applying Tack coat with VG-10 bitumen on prepared surface of granular Base including clearing of road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.25 kg/sqm using mechanical means as per MORTH specification item 503.

Providing and laying dense graded bituminous macadam with higher capacity batch type HMP using using crushed aggregates of specified grading, premixed with bituminous binder @ 4.5 per cent by weight of total mix and filler, transporting the hot mix to work site, laying with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per MoRTH specification clause No. 505 complete in all respects.

Providing and laying bituminous concrete with higher capacity batch type hot mix plant using crushed aggregates of specified grading, premixed with bituminous binder @ 5.4 per cent of mix and filler, transporting the hot mix to work site, laying with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per MORTH specification clause No. 507 complete in all respects.
