SCH A ITEMS FOR 2 X 320 kVA DG Sets ( Srl Item No 2.00 to 55.00)

Repair and top overhauling of Diesel Engine driven generating set 06 cylinder of cap 320 KVA Make - Kirloskar (No -1) Engine No-DV8.1201/1200079 & Alternator No - GS3C012G154535 And No - 2 Kirloskar Make -Kirloskar Engine No - DV801201/1200140 & Alternator No -GS3CU/12F153722, installed at 114 Inf Bde Area complete with the following works and replacement and major parts mentioned here in after: (a) Disconnecting the electric connection of the alternator and decoupling from engine and disconnection unsv/serviceable parts for repair/replacement such as inlet/outlet manifold, turbocharger, FIP,air cleaner, fuel injectors, cylinder head, tappet cover, cylinder linner, piston assy, connecting rod assy, exhaust valve seat, insert valve seat, fuel pump, L.O. pump, piston assy, turbocharger etc. at site and cleaning all the serviceable parts with Keroscene oil for reuse all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. (b) Transportation of unserviceable parts such as cylinder head, oil pump , FIP, L.O. pump, injector nozzles, etc. obtain from the above DG sets on site to the authorized workshop for repair and retransportation of repaired parts from workshop to installation complete.

(c) Grinding, polishing & facing of cylinder heads and including replacement of seats and repair to cylinder head all as directed by Engr-in-Charge (d) Re-assembling the Engine and alternator complete and connecting the alternator and coupling with engine complete after repair/ replacement of serviceable/unsv spare parts incl testing and commissioning of DG set on full load upto desired satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge complete. Note:- (i) The major spare parts required for overhauling of engine shall be measured and paid separately under relevant items of Sch A (ii) Minor spare parts such as plain machined washer, set screw, joint, set bolt, O rings, washer, spring dowel, dowel pin, bolts, pins, nuts, banjo bolts, copper washer etc for proper functioning of DG sets deemed to be included in the item rate. (iii) Spare parts shall be of existing make/model or reputed manufacturer as approved by GE/Engr-in-charge

Supply & fix in replacement Crank Shaft

Supply only following spare parts for 02 X 320 KVA DG sets for proper functioning of the DG set (Cost of Labour factor shall be deemed to be included in Srl No 2.00 of BoQ)

(a) Stop solenoid 24 Volts.

(b) Alternator 12 Volts for battery charging

(c) Cylinder liner assembly with O Ring.

(d) Piston assembly with piston Ring set

(e) Fuel pipe from pump to fuel filter

(f) Fuel pipe from fuel filter to fuel pump.

(g) Cam shaft.

(h) Bushing.

(j) Connecting Rod.

(k) Head valve insert.

(l) Head valve exhaust.

(m) Head valve guide stem.

(n) Small end CR bush

(o) Large end CR bush

(p) Upper head gasket

(q) Oil pan gasket.

(r) Cap Main Bearing.

(s) Valve seal and valve tappet

(t) Lub oil filter assy complete.

(u) Valve piston cooling.

(v) Fuel filter complete.

(w) Gear Idler.

Repair, checking and Calibration of injector assembly including supply and replacement of the injector cups barrel plunger etc, required for smooth functiioning of injector assembly complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F in replacement of fan belt all as directed Make- Fenner/KCL or equivalent make approved by HQCENC

Disconnecting removing the U/s burnt out wiring loom complete from the generator engine, alternator, control panel board etc. and Supply, fixing and connecting the wiring loom and checking the complete electrical circuit for its smooth functioning all as directed.

Repair and callibration of FIP, stripping out, cleaning and segregating serviceable and unserviceable parts, incl replacement of following worn out parts and assembling the same with engine all as directed by GE/Engr-in-Charge. (a) Fuel pump gear -02 No. (b) FIP kit -02 No. (c) Assembly screen-02 No (d) Ring sealing -02 No (e) Oil seal -02 No

Dismantling the radiator from the engine, transporting the radiator from site to workshop. Dismantling the radiator in and including descaling ,gas welding the leaking tube whichever required for proper functioning of radiator after repair retransportation from workshop to site and fixing the same with engine in existing position complete all as specified and as directed.

Disconnecting the muffler after disconnecting the same taking down the muffler from the silencer, taking out the carbon from the muffler through blow lamp, after cleaning the muffler , painting of muffler with two coats of alumium paint over coat of red oxide and refixing the same complete all as directed.

S&F in repair automatic voltage regulator 24 Volt complete. Make : kirloskar/Cummins or equivalent make approved by HQCENC

Supply and fix in repair Water outlet and inlet hose pipe from radiator to Engine and back from Engine to radiator .Make Crompton Greaves / Kirloskar or equivalent make approved by HQCENC

M & L for Repair to alternator , including replacement of unserviceable burnt winding of armature and stator using existing size copper winding and insulator including heating and varnishing including replacement of US bearings, rectifier, diode plate and carbon brushes etc complete all as specified and directed.

Supply & fix in replacement of U/S lead acid battery 12 Volt 180AH with initially charged Make-Exide/Amaron/Toshiba

M & L for Repair/servicing self starter by supply and fixing including taking out the following parts ,(a). Field Coil (b).Armature Winding (c ).Bush (d). Solenoid switch (Gear) for 320 KVA DG Sets Make : Kirloskar

Supply & fixing water pump assembly Cat part No-KL617605000 suitable for 320 Kva DG Set complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge. Make :- Kirloskar

Supply and fixing for replacement of copper battery lead 3 metre long PVC insulated multi stranded with brass clamp incl necessary bolts & nuts and fixing lugs etc complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Draining all the U/S DAFC 50% from the DG Sets Supply and filling theDAFC 50% all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.Make Servo, HP or equivalent make approved by HQCENC

S&F in replacement Self Starter 24 volt suitable for DG Set of capacity 320 KVA of existing maka and model complete all as specified and directed Make : Lukas or equivalent make approved by HQCENC

M & L Calibration of electronic panel of 320 KVA Kirloskar DG set with Laptop and fixing all faultS including replacement of US relays/control wiring as per site requirement by Kirloskar engineer all as directed at site by Engr-in-charge

Supply & fixing in replacement of Oil/water sensor suitable for DG set of capacity 320 KVA of DG Sets complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

S& F in replacement Control Card (PCB) of existing make and model suitable for DG set of capacity 320 KVA Make : Kirloskar

Draining all the U/S E Oil from the DG Sets Supply and filling the 20 W 40 E oil all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.Make Servo, HP or any approved Make.

M & L for cleaning of fuel tank of DG sets of capacity upto 320 KVA by draining out the fuel and storing in a container for re-filling complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge

Supply and fixing in repair Anti vibration rubber pad

Supply and fix in repair On load change over switch 415 volt 50 Hz conform to IS-13947-3 with enclosure and side handle of capacity 400 Amp four pole including taking down old switch complete all as specified and as directed.

SCH A ITEMS FOR 1 X 100 kVA DG Set ( Srl Item No 57.00 to 105.00)

Repair and top overhauling of Diesel Engine driven generating set 06 cylinder of cap of 100 KVA, Engine No - P84294611 & Alternator No - N16D174932 installed at 114 Inf Bde Area complete with the following works and replacement and major parts mentioned here in after :- (a) Disconnecting the electric connection of the alternator and decoupling from engine and disconnection unsv/serviceable parts for repair/replacement such as inlet/outlet manifold, turbocharger, FIP,air cleaner, fuel injectors, cylinder head, tappet cover, cylinder linner, piston assy, connecting rod assy, exhaust valve seat, insert valve seat, fuel pump, L.O. pump, piston assy, turbocharger etc. at site and cleaning all the serviceable parts with Keroscene oil for reuse all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. Note:- (i) The major spare parts required for overhauling of engine shall be measured and paid separately under relevant items of Sch A (ii) Minor spare parts such as plain machined washer, set screw, joint, set bolt, O rings, washer, spring dowel, dowel pin, bolts, pins, nuts, banjo bolts, copper washer etc for proper functioning of DG sets deemed to be included in the item rate.
