Miscellaneous Civil works like Repair or Upkeep or Upgrade or Replacement of Chainlink Fencing PPS, barbed wire and concertina coil, Laying hume pipes and Construction of Pedestal for fire water line at TAPS_3and4 Plant site.

Amount

Excavation and dismantling :-

Lead charges for 1st 1 KM or part thereof, by mechanical transport including loading unloading, stacking / levelling etc.

Dismantling steel work in built up sections in angles, tees, flats, tubular , hollow and channels including all gusset plates, bolts, nuts, cutting rivets, welding etc. including scaffolding, dismantling and stacking at various location of TAPS-3&4 and disposing unservicable material within plant premises or as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.

Dsimantling GI fence / barbed wire / concertina coil at various location of TAPS-3&4 including scaffolding and making rolls , disposing it within plant premises as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.

Dismantling of RCC works including Cutting and stacking of steel reinforcement bars and disposal of unserviceable materials within plant premises as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Dismantling Bituminous road including stacking of serviceable materials and disposal of unserviceable materials within plant premises as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Dismantling plain cement concrete manually means carefully without damaging adjacent structures including disposal of debris within plant premises as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and laying nonpressure NP2 class RCC Humepipes of 300mm dia of approved make,withcollars jointed with stiff mixture of cement mortar in the proportion of 1:2, laying to the levels, slopes and as per the drawings and specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge including testing of joints etc. complete.

Providing Reinforcement Steel for reinforced cement concrete at all levels including supplying, preparation of bar bending schedules, cutting, bending, transporting, fixing, tieing in position with G.I binding wire, all labour charges, cost of cover blocks in specified grade of concrete etc. complete as per specifications and drawings. Using materials produced by the own plants or dealers and suppliers of SAIL , RINL (Vizag Steel) and TATA only using virgin materials.

Concreting work :-

Providing, centering, shuttering Form work using steel plates, timber planks for all types of structures including necessary strutting, proping, staging, supports, bracings etc. and deshuttering the same after the specified time all as per drawings, specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge at all levels

Fixing in position in RCC / masonry/ form work Mild Steel fabricated embedded parts supplied by the Department including transporting from the departmental stores, aligning / welding fixing in position, providing necessary supporting arrangements etc complete all as per drawings and specifications at all levels and as directed by the Engineer in charge

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of 1:2:4 (1 cement, 2 crushed sand, 4 graded stone aggregate of maximum size 20 mm) including consolidation, finishing, curing etc. complete as per specificationsand drawings but excluding the cost of Form work shuttering, centering Complete at all levels.

Providing and laying in position Reinforced Cement Concrete (RCC) of Grade M-30 using 20mm maximum size aggregates and crushed sand of approved quality including admixtures of approved brand and quality (plasticiser or super plasticiser) if required, including weigh batching, mechanical mixing, transporting, placing, vibrating, consolidation, finishing, curing etc. complete but excluding the cost of centering, shuttering and reinforcement complete as per specifications up to Plinth Level

Providing and Painting two coats of synthetic enamel paint on Steel Surfaces of approved brand and manufacture to give an even shade with ready mixed red oxide primer of approved brand Including preparation of the surfaces, scaffolding complete. as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge

Structural steel

Providing hot dip galvanised (heavy coated) Structural steel work using M.S Plain Plates and chequered Plates for Embedded Parts, , angles, channels, joists and other sections, welded and / or bolted in built up sections for trusses , structural steel floors, frame works, monorails, line wires , fixing acessories (nuts,bolts , washers etc.) and other structures including supplying, cutting, welding, fabricating, hoisting, fixing in position,applying a priming coat of approved steel primer and two coats of approved synthetic enamel paint etc. complete all as per specifications, drawings and as directed by the Engineer in charge Up to and including 300 mm Joists, 350 mm channels, and below sections using materials from Approved vendor Note : Test results shall be furnished for galvanising

Supplying and fixing hilti make or equivalant Anchor fastener (HST3 M12x115) including scaffolding tools & tackles, fitting accesories etc. complete as directed by Engineer -In-Charge.

Grouting below base plates of columns, equipments, around the foundation bolts, or locations as specified using pre-packed cementetious non-shrink grout (of approved brand & quality) including cleaning the base by water / compressed air, pre-soaking, shuttering / formwork, mixing, placing, curing etc. complete all as per manufacturer's guidelines and as directed by the Engineer-incharge.

Erection of fence

Labour charges only for fabricating structural steel work including plates at all levels including transporting to site of work from Dept. Stores, cutting to required size, fabricating including welding as required, erecting in position, cost of electrodes, gas, necessary scaffolding (Structural steel will be supply by department. any fixing accessory if required will be suppied by contractor) Note : a) Labour charges only for cutting , fixing , bolting , welding , fabricating, hoisting the posts, struts (angles /flats) b) Posts shall be fixed in cement concrete 1:3:6 ( excavation and cement concrete to be separately paid in item 1.01 and item 4.03 respectively ) or cut and welded to base plate that shall be fixed using anchor fastener, complete cost of cutting and welding to be included in the item (base plate to be paid in separately in item no. 6.01 and anchor fastener will be paid seperately in item no. 6.02)

Labour only for fixing fence fabric including transporting to site of work from Dept. Stores, cutting to required size , including supplying of fixing accessories such as nuts , bolts and washers etc. Labour charges only for cutting , bolting , hoisting and fixing at all heights wire fabric chain link fencing of 50 mm x50mmx4mm thick , including fixing of 3 nos line wire with posts complete as per drawing , steel wire fabric fixed between the posts fitted and fixed with G.I nuts, bolts , washers or required fixing accessory such as G.I. staples / tie to 6 mm bar nibs with G.I. binding wire etc. including scaffolding ,supply of all fixing accessory/nuts/ bolts/ washers complete as per drawing and as directed by Engineer in charge Note: a) Fence fabric and GI wire only will be supplied by department b) The item includes only labour charges for fixing of fence fabric along with supply and fxing of nuts, bolts washers etc

Labor only for Fixing and streching of barbed wire between the angle iron posts at all heights, fitted and fixed with GI staples or GI binding wires including supply of fixing accessories such as binding wire , staples , turn buckles, straining bolts etc, includng scaffolding , lifting arrangement , including cutting to required size , transporting to site of work from Dept. Stores etc complete as per specification and as directed by Engineer in Charge . Payment to be made per metre cost of total length of barbed wire used Note : a) The item includes only labour charges for fixing of barbed wire along with supply and fxing of turn buckles , staples etc.

Providing and fixing concertina barbed tape coil of 600/ 610 mm diameter made from M.S hot dip galvanized ribbon tape of 0.5 mm thickness, 19 mm width stretching the coil to 9 m approximate, fixing the coil with clips between "Y" armed and hot dip Galvanized angle posts upto 4.00 m high from ground level, including supplying and fixing MS galvanized clips etc. complete as per manufacturer's specification and including painting by dipping method the concrtina tape coil with two coats of synthetic enamel paint of approved shade and make over a coat of approved primer at fabrication shop, before bringing the material to the site and fixing in position etc. including scaffolding and lifting arrangements complete as per specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Note : Supply of material , labour and fixing acessories all complete are in scope of contractor

Providing and fixing hot dip galvanised iron chain link fabric fencing Made of hot dip galvanised iron wire of dia 4 mm of required width in mesh size 50 x 50 mm including 3 nos.Galvanised steel line wire of dia 4 /4.5 mm ,and including painting by dipping method the fence fabric with two coats of synthetic enamel paint of Caulifield green (BSL139) shade and make over a coat of approved primer at fabrication shop, before bringing the material to the site and fixing in position etc and strengthening with nuts, bolts and washers, scaffolding as required complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. Note : Test Reports from Central Govt./NABL/ILAC accrediated Lab covering all the declared parameters as per IS specification must be furnished i) conformance to IS 280: 2006 , IS 2629: 1985 , IS 4826: 1979 Note : Supply of material, labour and fixing acessories all complete are in scope of contractor
