Providing and fixing vitrified tiles of size 600 x 600mm of approved make in flooring laid in any pattern as specified over base of 20mm thick cement coarse sand mortar 1:3 and jointed with white cement slurry mixed with pigment to match the shade to tiles. Note:- Tile shall be of premium quality (first quality) of reputed manufacturer like NITCO, KAJARIA, SOMANI, ORIENT, RAK & JOHNSON. (HSR 14.89)

Laying and fixing vitrified / ceramic / Glazed tiles of any size of approved make in skirting / dado, pillars, wall tacing, laid in any pattern as specified over base of 12mm thick cement coarse sand mortar 1:3 and jointed with white cement slurry mixed with pigment to match the shade of tiles. (Tiles shall be supplied by the department.) [HSR 14.94]

12 mm thick cement plaster 1:6 on walls [HSR 15.7]

15 mm thick cement plaster 1:6 on rough side of single or half brick wall (HSR 15.12)

Applying pink primer or aluminium priming coat on wood work including preparation of surface, knotting and stopping etc. (Note:- First quality paint/primer of reputed make firm such as Goodlass-Nerolac, Berger, Garware, Jenson, Nicholson, Asian & Shalimar Shall be used as approved by Engineer-in-charge in writing, Drum of paint shall be opened in presence of Engineer-in-charge). Painting two coats excluding priming coat with synthetic enamel paint in all shades on new wood work or metallic or plastered or concrete surfaces to give an even shade. (Note:- First quality paint of reputed make firm such as Goodlass-Nerolac, Berger, Garware, Jenson, Nicholson, Asian & Shalimar Shall be used as approved by Engineer-in-charge in writing, Drum of paint shall be opened in presence of Engineer-in-charge). (HSR 16.3).

Preparation of plastered or concrete surfaces for painting, including sand papering the surface, applying one coat of linseed oil and filling with approved quality filler, consisting of white lead, linseed oil, varnish and chalk mitti including finishing surface to the required finish, complete. (Note:- First quality paint of reputed make firm such as Goodlass-Nerolac, Berger, Garware, Jenson, Nicholson, Asian & Shalimar Shalimar Shall be used as approved by Engineer-in-charge in writing, Drum of paint shall be opened in presence of Engineer-in-charge). (HSR 16.24)

Applying priming coat with cement primer in all shades on newly plastered or concrete exterior surface. (Note:- First quality paint of reputed make firm such as Goodlass-Nerolac, Berger, Garware, Jenson, Nicholson, Asian & Shalimar Shalimar Shall be used as approved by Engineer-in-charge in writing, Drum of paint shall be opened in presence of Engineer-in-charge). (HSR 16.25).

Painting two coats with ready-mixed exterior paint in all shades on newly plastered or concrete surface of walls. (Note:- First quality paint of reputed make firm such as Goodlass-Nerolac, Berger, Garware, Jenson, Nicholson, Asian & Shalimar Shall be used as approved by Engineer-in-charge in writing, Drum of paint shall be opened in presence of Engineer-in-charge). (HSR 16.26).

Painting two coats with ready mixed emulsion paint in all shades for interior use on bricks, plaster, cement, fibre board etc. (Note:- First quality paint of reputed make firm such as Goodlass-Nerolac, Berger, Garware, Jenson, Nicholson, Asian & Shalimar Shall be used as approved by Engineer-in-charge in writing, Drum of paint shall be opened in presence of Engineer-in-charge). (HSR 16.27)

Factory manufactured wire gauze door and window shutters of commercial hard wood, such as hollocks, champ, chikrassy and chaplash, etc., (non-coniferous timber other than teak, conforming to I.S. specification No. 1003, kiln seasoned), with 100 mm wide vetical styles, 150 mm wide lock rail, 200 mm wide bottom rail and wire gauze of 140G or 120G designation including cost of iron hinges, screws, chocks/cleats,stops, nails etc., complete fixed in position (execluding the cost of any fittings, other than specified above but including labour for fixing the same in position) [HSR 17.92 (-)Note (i) under item No. 17.18] ii) 35 mm thick.

Factory man ufactured panelled door shutters, of teak wood, kiln-seasoned, as per I.S specification No.401, with 100 mm wide vertical styles, 150mm wide lock rail, 200 mm wide bottom rail and 100 mm wide other rails, with panels of 12 mm thick veneered, particle board, or plywood of BWR grade hot-pressed including cost of iron hinges, screws, chocks/cleats, stopes and nails etc., complete fixed in position (excluding the cost of nay fittings, other than specified above but including labour for fixing the same in position)- a) panel of decorative plywood, one side teak faced, and other side commercial faced. Providing and fixing HDPE water storage tanks of Sintex, Diplast, O.K., Supreme make with covers / lids marked with IS: 12701 on roof top of buildings including cost of hoisting and placing in position, making connections with inlet and outlet pipes, providing overflow and scour provisions with sutiable plug on scour pipe including cost of nipples, washers, flanges for connections in tanks complete in all respects to the satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge. (except civil work). (HSR 30.119) 1000 Ltr. capacity.

Providing & fixing 2mm thick PVC Sheet for shed with complete fitting from cover including angle, nut, bolts, paints, pipe excavation of earth work, concrete for foundation etc. complete in all respect to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge. ( N.S)

Providing & fixing concertina wire around the boundary wall complete in all respect to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge. ( N.S)

Recovery items:- The rates quoted against recovery items will not be included in the total amount rather it will be deducted while calculating financial statement of the agency. Dismantiling of bricks and Removing of Door and windos in the DNIT. In case it is not possible to use this material on the work, the agency can take away this material after approval from employer. This material will be issued at the price quoted by the agency. However the reserve price is as under:- i) Door @ 700/- Each

ii) Windows @ 500/- Each

iii) Ventilator @ 300/- Each Note:- All quantities of the above materials have been worked out on the basis of theoretical quantities laid on this building. However, agency may visit site before quoting rates and assess the extent of retrieved material. There shall be no measurement after actual dismantling and if material after dismantling is found on lesser side, no claim of agency on this score will be entertained and full recovery on the basis of quoted rate and quantity exhibited in the BOQ shall be made. The reserve rates are minimum rates to be used as base for quoting purchase rate by the agency. No rates below the reserve price will be entertained and reserve price will be considered for all purposes in case the agency quotes lesser than reserve price. Note:- 1. In case of any difference in the unit & nomenclature of any of the HSR Items of Civil, P.H. work depicted in this DNIT and that given in HSR, the unit and nomenclature given in HSR shall be applicable. 2. Only reputed make material will be used (make/brand exhibited in HSR and exhibited in approved standard document) as approved by Engineer-in-charge, while executing various items/works at site.
