CLEANING OF DRAINS AND CLEARENCE OF RUNWAY, SHOULDERS WITH BUSH CUTTER IN TECH AREA AT AFS ADAMPUR

M&L for Clearnce of shoulders of air field by cutting grass, vegetation , shrubs , bushes, small trees using petrol bush cutter of make STHL FS-40/0450 or equivalent with one operator and one helper on hourly basis from 0900 hrs onwards, sweeping and removal of cut grass/ vegetation/rubbish where directed complete all as directed by ATC auth and Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for Edge Scraping of runway, PTT, Taxi tracks, Dispersal by cutting/removing of grass complete all as specified and directed by ATC auth and Engineer-in-Charge. Note :- edge scraping /surface dressing alongside runway, PTT taxi and dispersal shall be carried out mannually

M&L for Cleaning of open drains/Nalas having bottom width exceeding 40 cm & any depth by removing grass/vegetation/sarkanda of any type including removing of filled earth,mud,any size stone or brick bats,rubbish from inside and alongside drain and removing rubbish materials upto 04 Km by deploying tractor trolly all as directed by ATC auth. and Engineer-in-Charge. Note : Area shall be measured as inner girth of drain i.e bottom and two sides of drain.

M&L for Cleaning of open drains/saucer drains having bottom width not exceeding 40cm & any depth by removing grass/vegetation/sarkanda of any type including removing of filled earth,mud,any size stone or brick bats,rubbish from inside and alongside drain and removing rubbish materials upto 04 Km by deploying tractor trolly all as directed by ATC auth. and Engr-in-chrage. Note : Area shall be measured as inner girth of drain i.e bottom and two sides of drain.

Notes for item No. 1 above : Following provisions are deemed to be included in the quoted rates as per unit:- (i) Bush cutter operators and labour shall report at ATC premises daily to get working directions from ATC athourirties. Time of working hours will be accounted from starting of work actually at site, not at the time reporting of bush cutter at ATC/Site (ii) Contractor shall provide minimum 03 bush cutters daily or as directed by Engineer Incharge and ATC. (iii) Log book shall be maintained by ATC Authorities for every bush cutters indicating the working hours of bush cutter with time, date & location and shall be daily signed by contractor or his rep, rep of ATC & JE. Log book shall be produced alongwith every payment duly signed by ATC athourities, JE and contractor for technical check. In the autumn season i.e. Nov to Jan or otherwise when there is no growth of grass, the grass cutting and removal of grass shall only be done with written orders of users, if required at site. (iv) The cut grass shall be sweeped with brooms from near runway and taxi track immediately after cutting. (v) Contractor shall provide minimum 03 Nos Bush cutters daily. He shall provide one operator and one helper (alongwith required T&P) for each Bush cutter to ATC on demand. In case the contractor fails to provide the requisite machinery alongwith labour within three days of written/verbal/telephonee demand, a penalty @ Rs 1000/- per day for one Bush cutter and Rs 500/- per day for one labour shall be recovered from the contractor. Contractor himself or his rep. shall attend positively verbal/telephonee calls of concerned executive staff any time.
