NOTE: - (i) The quoted rate deems to include for all minor expenses required for making the complaint functional. (ii) Repairing/ rewinding of ceilling fan/ exhaust fan shall be carried out in the AGE E/M Bairagarh subdivision in present of concern JE E/M. (iii) Space/room will be provided by AGE E/M in the E/M yard for carring out repair work. (iv) Contractor staff will collect defective fans from concern JE E/M, check the fans after opening it, and intimate the defects in the fan to JE E/M before carring out the repairs. (v) The bearing of fan should be of NBC/SKF/FAG make only. No other make will be accepted.

Dismantling of ceiling fans AC single phase 230 volts of sizes 1200mm/1400mm (collected from MES fan store ) any make / model except old vintage, dismantling its stator, rotor, cutting out burnt copper winding and providing new winding with super enamelled copper winding wire of existing size including cleaning of slots providing oil impregnated insulation paper or minimax, fibre, insulation in slots and well wraping with cotton tape, bind with cotton thread and varnishing over all with winding varnish, cleaning of bearing housing and shaft, replacing spares such as split pins, blade screws etc as required and reassembling and depositing the repaired fan to MES fan store after testing complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down ceiling / wall fan from fan hook and disconnection from ceiling rose, dismantling of fan parts i e. down rod and connector/condenser, nut bolts, split pins, rubber bush (garari), condenser carrier clip (PVC), in build connector two way, etc complete servicing by cleaning greasing/oiling in side surface of rotar by CTC with sand paper and repair and re - fitting / reassembling and making the fan fuctional and fixing the fan in position and testing complete all as specified and directed. Note: - Only rubber packing (garari) condenser, condenser carrier clip (PVC) in build connector two way shall be measured and paid separately.

Taking down exhaust fan and disconnection from ceiling rose, dismantling of fan parts i e. connector/ condenser, nut bolts, condenser carrier clip (PVC), in build connector two way, etc complete servicing by cleaning greasing/oiling in side surface of rotar by CTC with sand paper and repair and re - fitting / reassembling and making the fan fuctional and fixing the fan in position and testing complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Taking down and fixing of fan will be measured under item No. 1 here-in-before.

S&F ceiling fan regulator electronic step type 240 V, AC 50 Hz single pole, 100 watts flush type complete all as specified and as directed. [MAKE:-ANCHOR (PENTA series) or equivalent in LEADER/ CRABTREE/ LEGRAND/ HAVELLS as approved by GE]

Dismantling of cabin fan of any sweep and overhauling by means of cleaning of stator, oiling & greasing including replacement of nut and bolt, etc and reassembling, re-fixing and testing the fan complete all as specification and directed.

M&L for rewinding of wall mounting fan of any sweep and any make any model with suitable gauge copper winding wire (super enamelled) including all insulating material including necessary heat varnishing, testing etc complete all as specified and directed.

Removing unserviceable fan / bearing shaft (of any type & fan) and shaft welding broken area and threading in lathe machine at appropriate size and refixing in ceiling fan, any type complete all as specified and directed.

Fixing only ceiling fan any type, marking MES NO. and connecting flexible wire from ceiling rose to fan complete with all acessories and down rod complete all as specified and directed. Note:Ceiling fan shall be issued under schedule B free for fixing only

M&L for sub main wiring with approved colour coding as per IS (Red, Black and Green for single phase circuits) with four single core PVC insulated FRLS cable 1100V unsheathed with stranded copper conductor of 6.0 sqmm nominal cross section area and drawing into 20mm external diameter rigid non metallic PVC conduit, ISI marked, medium grade, inclusive of all fittings such as tees, bends, junction boxes, elbows, saddles, pipe hooks, couples, lock outs, etc. in concealed wiring system by cutting of walls (brick or stone) and making good disturbed surface of wall in CM 1:3 and PVC insulated stranded copper conductor of 4.0 sqmm nominal cross section area as earth wire complete all as specified and directed. [Make of Cable : Polycab/ Plaza/ Havells/KEI/V-MARC as approved by GE] Note : (i)Wiring to be done as per approved colour code in IE rule. (ii) Two runs of 6.0 sqmm cable, one run of 4.0 sqmm cable of earth continuity conductor & PVC conduit pipe shall be measured as one unit length.

Taking down carefully existing point wiring (any type viz. aluminum or copper) with wooden batten/surface PVC conduit (with its fittings)/PVC casing-capping or any other type for light, fan, power point (including switch, socket, ceiling rose, etc.) and making good disturbed surface of wall/ceiling to match with existing surface after necessary rewiring complete.

M&L for point wiring for one light / fan / bell point with 1.50 sqmm (nominal area) FRLS PVC insulated, unsheathed, multi-stranded copper conductor cable, 1100 volts grade, controlled by one one-way switch, drawn in & including non metallic rigid PVC conduit (ISI marked) medium grade not less than 20mm diameter with all conduit accessories in concealed wiring system by cutting of walls (brick or stone) and making good disturbed surface of wall in CM 1:3 (except on ceiling for fan point only, surface casing capping will be used in lieu of concealed PVC conduit) including one run of 1.5 sqmm copper conductor as earth continuity wire connected to common earth dolly, sunk sheet steel terminal box made out of 1.20 mm thick GI/MS sheet for mounting of fittings like switches, sockets, fan regulators etc. with 3mm thick laminated hylum sheet cover complete all as specified and directed. Dismantling geyser of 25 ltrs capacity and of any description, M&L for cleaning and de-scaling the inner tank and other parts / accessories including inlet, outlet, overflow, geyser element, thermostat, U assembly etc. with brush & cleaning rods and using and circulating concentrated de-scaling solution mixed with water in suitable proportion till the complete deposits/scale is removed and approved by the Engineer-in-Charge, brazing for stopping the leakage of copper inner tank/ gas welding for stopping the leakage of inner steel tanks, fixing the serviceable parts in position, setting insulation properly as required, reassembling the complete geyser after cleaning, repairing and painting, fixing & installation of the geyser in position and its testing to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge complete all as specified and directed. NOTE:- (i) De-scaling chemical shall be concentrated HCL of make as approved by GE. (ii) Painting of Geysers shall be on requirement basis and shall be measured and paid for separately under appropriate item of BOQ (iv) Old disturbed insulation shall be made good by the contractor with using old retrieved glass wool and additional quantity of glass wool for insulation, if any required, is deemed to be included in the quoted unit rate. (v) Spares as required shall be measured and paid seperately.
