Strengthening of structure (Discharge head) alongwith complete replacement of discharge chute assembly i.e. supply, fabrication, erection, installation, commissioning etc at Q1 and R1 Conveyors of New CHP, Dipka Expansion Project.

Amount

Complete dismantling of Discharge head Drum arrangement, wornout discharge Chute assemblies along with weaken/rusted supports, base structures of discharge head, floor etc at site for rectification.

Fabrication and replacement of wornout support structures and base beam of discharge head for strengthening of base frame & floor of Discharge head Drum arrangement. Fabrication & assembling of complete Discharge Chute in sections with bolted construction by cutting, welding, setting, aligning, bolting etc including allied works of sealing skirt boards, mountings, hoods arrangements (All materials will be provided by contractor)

Painting of complete fabricated structure including discharge chute section, stair case, hoods & allied parts with 3 coats i.e. one coat of red oxide primer and two coat of enamel paint of approved brand as requried.

Providing and fixing of rubber liners of 60+ mm thickness in the discharge chute in a compact manner to avoid any jamming/obstruction in material flow as per instruction of Engineer Incharge.

Installation and Commissioning of Discharge head Drum arrangement, Discharge Chute sections, floor sections along with other accessories and allied works.

Additional Terms & Conditions: 1). The execution period for the contract will be 60 days. 2). Shut down will be provided for 7 days (7X24 hours) only for each belt conveyor (Q-1 & R-1) for complete dismantling, assembling and other associated works. 3). Penalty @ 0.5% of awarded value will be deducted for every hour of delay after 168 hours. This penalty is in addition to the penalty clauses which are already incorporated in the NIT & Tender Documents. 4). Bidders are advised to visit and inspect the existing structure before quoting the offer. The work has to be executed as per the existing design of structure. (Please refer to page no. 33 of NIT or Annexure-A in the uploaded tender documents for Additional Terms & Conditions)

Note: (i). All manpower must be VTC trained and must be provided with safety equipment. Providing of these safety equipments will be under the scope of contractor. (ii). Loading, unloading, shifting, handling of materials etc will be in the scope of contractor. (iii). Crane will be provided by deptt for 48 hours maximum in 8 times. (iv). All fastenes, consumables, packing and other necessary items for above works are in the scope of contractor. (v). Shutdown will be provided one by one circuit as per availability and works shall be carried out as per existing design & standards. (vi). Rates are inclusive of CMPF, Pension, Contractors Profit, tools & tackles and Overhead expenses (excluding GST).
