Supplying and fixing mild steel grills for windows, ventilators, etc., including priming coat etc., complete complying with standard specification.and as directed by the departmental officers. (TNBP. Specification.No : 86 & 86 - A)
Solid PVC Door Shutters door using 19 Gauge 19mm MS square tubes for styles and outer frames. 15mm MS square tubes for top, lock and bottom rails. The steel tubes shall be covered with 5mm thick solid PVC Sheets. Shutter using 5mm thick solid PVC Sheets for panelling shall rigidly fixed in position including necessary furniture and fittings. The over all size of styles shall be 50mm x 30mm. The over all size of top rail, lock rail and bottom rail shall be 75mm x 30mm. The over all size of frames shall be 50mm x 45mm with suitable rabate for housing the shutter etc complete complying with standard specifications and as directed by the departmental officers
Supplying and fixing UPVC (Un-Plasticized Polyvinyl Chloride) Windows of casement type (open) from the profile the size of outer frame 60mm x 58mm and shutter profile are reinforcement with GI/1mm 125GSM and 100% corrosion free, the profiles are multi chambered sections with wall thick of 2mm. The EPDM rubber (black colour) covered with over all the edges of frame and shutter the shutter will be provided with Espag multi power point locks and also it operates as handle. The corners and joints should be welded and cleaned. Radiations free pin headed plain or brown colour glass 4mm thick should be provided to the shutter and it should not allow leakage of water even at most ranging storms and should have key lockable action, security protective hinges, strong locking systems and as per size for arresting noise and energy loss. The connecting mechanism between sash and outer frame that enables opening of the window. The window should be fixed to the wall with 100% packing with screws and silicon packing all round the frames. (The window should be got approved from the Executive Engineer before use on work)

Solar PV Modules

Solar ON -GRID Invertor
A solar inverter, or PV inverter, or Solar converter, converts the variable direct current (DC) output of a photovoltaic (PV)solar panel into a utility frequency alternating current (AC) that can be fed into a commercial electrical grid or used by a local, off-grid electrical network. It is a critical BOS-component in a photovoltaic system, allowing the use of ordinary AC-powered equipment. Module mounting Structure
The PV modules will be mounted on fixed metallic structures of adequate strength and appropriate design, which can withstand load of modules and high wind velocities up to 150 km per hour. The support structure used in the power plants will be hot dip Galvanized Structure. The modules support structure shall be hot dip galvanized structure for holding the PV modules. Each panel frame structure shall be so fabricated as to be grouted on roof on its legs. The legs of the structure shall be fixed and grouted in the PCC foundation column made with 1:2:4 cement concrete. The foundation shall support SPV modules at a given fixed orientation absorb and transfer the mechanical loads to the ground properly. -1 set.
DC CABLES

AC CABLES

It shall be provided in between PCU and loads; It shall have MCB of suitable rating for connection and disconnection of PCU from load. It shall have MCBs to supply power to control room loads such as existing loads.
POWER CONDITIONING UNIT (PCU)
The PCU shall also house MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracker), an interface between Solar PV array & the Inverter, to maximize Solar PV array energy input into the System. PCU including MPPT & protection conform to IEC 61683/I5 61683, IEC 60068-2(1,2,14,30)/Equivalent BIS Std.,
JUNCTION BOXES
The junction boxes shall be dust proof, vermin and waterproof and made of FRP / Thermo Plastic. The terminals shall be connected to copper bus bar arrangement of proper sizes. The junction boxes shall have suitable cable entry points fitted with cable glands of appropriate sizes for both incoming and outgoing cables. Suitable markings shall be provided on the bus bar for easy identification and cable ferrules shall be fitted at the cable termination points for identification. Each main junction box shall be fitted with appropriate rating blocking diode. The junction boxes shall be of reputed make.
DC & AC Switches
A)DC SIDE
I) MCB of suitable rating shall be provided for connection and disconnection of array & PCU for maintenance purpose.
II) Switches and Circuit Breakers on DC side shall be DC rated or they shall be sufficiently de-rated, if AC rated switches are used.
III) DC Surge protection Device to be provided on Incoming side with class II as per IEC 6364-5-53
B) AC SIDE
i)MCB of suitable rating shall be provided for connection and disconnection of PCU & load
ii) AC Surge protection Device to be provided on Incoming side with class Il as per IEC 6364-5-53
LIGHNING ARRESTOR
INTEGRATION OF PV POWER WITH GRID:
The output power from SPV would be fed to the inverters which converts DC produced by SPV array to the AC and feeds it into the main electricity grid after synchronization. In case of grid failure, or low or high voltage, solar PV system will be out of synchronization and will be disconnected from the grid. Once the DG set comes into service PV system will again be synchronized with DG supply and load requirement would be met to the extent of availability of power 4 pole isolation of inverter output with respect to the grid/DG power connection need to be provided.
OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE MANUAL
An Operation and Maintenance Manual, in English and Tamil, should be provided with the solar PV power plants.
The following minimum details must be provided in the Manual:
About Photo Voltaic & PV Module Clear instructions about mounting of PV module.
About electronics used in
DO'S and DON'Ts,
Clear instructions on regular maintenance and Trouble Shooting of the power plants.
Name & address of the person or Centre to be contacted in case of failure or complaint.
The equipment/materials and the whole system should be operated by trained personnel of the purchaser after giving training.
Earthing
The array structure of the PV yard shall be grounded properly using adequate number of earthing kits for AC and DC side separately. Components used for carthing, 10Sqmm Copper Cable, Conventional/Free maintenance Earthing kit for DC side, Structure array.

i) Solar panel at 90% efficiency - 10 years
ii) Solar panel at 80% efficiency - 25 years
