Exacavation in trenches n etc. 1.5m wide n exc 1.5m depth and getting out in hard/dense soil including trimming bottom surface to require level and shape all as specified and directed by Engg-in-charge for laying of pipes. NOTE:- Taking up pipe with fitting,special valves ect from trench shall be measured and paid separately.

Returning , filling in including spreading, levelling , watering & well ramming in layers n.exc 25cm including making good disturbed surface to original levels complete all as specified.

Removal of exacavation material to a distance n exc 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified.

Carrying out Jungle cutting & Ghas cutting in water supply installation and water reservoir (NAD Area and INS abhimanyu area Area) and along the pipe line both side and shifting of debris away from site all as specified & directed by Engineer -in-Charge

Taking out cast iron water mains (including all fittings) with spigot and socket ends and lead joints including burning out joints and recovering lead for the following:- Note :- Excavation and earth work required shall be measured and paid separately under relevant items.

supply and lay ,connection and testing CI pipes with spigot and socket ends centrifugally cast,class 'B' in any length, laid in trenches complete all as specified and directed for following sizes:-

(a) 300 mm bore

(b) 150 mm bore

(c) 100 mm bore

(d) 80 mm bore

Taking down existing CI specials and M&L CI specials such as bends (any type,radius, tapers) and any type (straight,bend, increasing, decreasing,or double socket ect). Tee pieces single branch 'Y' junction double branch,cross (all sockets or socket and spigot), collars caps and plugs ect for upto 250mm bore as in repair including complete all as specified and directed.

Burning out existing lead joints of CI pipes and specials in position including cleaning and collecting old lead complete all as specified and directed by engineer-in-charge for the following bore pipes. Note:- Excavation and earth work required shall be measured and paid separately under relevant items.

M&L for run lead joints in position for spigot socket pipe and specials including provision of all jointing materials such as pig lead,lead spun yarn/joint ect for the following bore:-

(c) 150 mm bore pipe

(d) 100 mm bore pipe

(e) 80 mm bore pipe

Taking down existing sluice valve and supply and fix in position sluice valve (ISI marked) flanged and drill both ends cast iron body, heavy duty brass spindle type PN 1.0 with and including jointing rubber gasket,nut,bolts including taking out existing CI sluice valve of following sizes:-

(a) 250 mm bore

(b) 200 mm bore

(c) 150 mm bore

(d) 100 mm bore

(e) 80 mm bore

Demolition of unserviceable broken valve chamber of any size and M&L for construction of new wall chamber with brick masonry valve chamber 900mm x 900mm x 900mm (internal size) 15cm thick foundation using PCC (1:4:8) type D2 using (40mm graded stone augregates) 23cm thick brick walls built in CM (1:6) 10mm thick internal paster & external plaster in CM (1:4)on internal wall surface of chamber and external surface upto 15cm below the ground level finished even & fair 5mm MS sheet cover including 40 x 40 x 0.6mm angle iron frame fixed on 150mm thick PCC (1:2:4) type B1using(20mm graded stone aggregate)as in coping with and including necessaryuse and waste of formwork with and including 25mm x 6mm flat iron hold fasts, handles, hinges with locking arrangement applying one coat of red oxide primer and two coats of synthetic enamel paint to all steel surfaces including necessary returning , filling, including desposal of surplus soil etc. complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down existing non- return valve and S&F 150 mm bore CI non return valve, flanged type ISI marked with by pass arrangement all as specified and dirrected.

Taking down existing non- return valve and S&F 100 mm bore CI non return valve, flanged type ISI marked with by pass arrangement all as specified and dirrected.

Taking down existing non- return valve and S&F 80 mm bore CI non return valve, flanged type ISI marked with by pass arrangement all as specified and dirrected.

Taking down existing non- return valve and S&F50 mm bore brass non return valve, ISI marked with by pass arrangement all as specified and dirrected.

M&L in MS iron frame work using MS channel, MS angle ect for structural support to pipe lines/base plate for pumps/approach ladder to over head water tanks all as directed including taking down/dismantling old one.

Cutting and removing existing unserviceable MS pipe and M&L for MS ERW pipe heavy duty ( 8mm thick) in short length with all fitting including two coats of synthick enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer of size 150mm bore Note:- Welded joints will be measured and paid seperately under relavant item of sch 'A".

M&L for welded joints to MS ERW pipe 150mm bore all as specfied and directed

M&L for MS flange 10mm thick 150mm dia welded to MS pipe including all necessary material for welding and jointing all as specified and directed by engr -in- charge.

M&L for PCC type 1:4:8 type D2 ( using 40mm graded aggregate) for thrust block for supporting pipe lines including necessary use all as specified and directed by engr -in- charge.

M&L for sump/tank MS cover 60cmX60cm made out of 5 mm thick MS sheet bends to shape/with angle iron frame on sides, locking, arrangement fixed to manhole of UG sumps and RCC tanks with grouting the angle iron frame in RCC slabe including two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer all as specified and directed.

Taking out unserviceable rusted steel water tubing and connection including cleaning for refixing or removal from site all as directed of the following sizes:

(a) 15 mm bore

(b) 20 mm bore

(c ) 25 mm bore

(d) 40 mm bore

(e) 50 mm bore

(f) 80 mm bore

Refixing old steel tubing and connections in new or old position after cleaning including all fittings of the following size complete all as specified and directed.

(a) 15 mm bore

(b) 20 mm bore

(c ) 25 mm bore

(d) 40 mm bore

(e) 50 mm bore

Supply and laying in trenches/wall/floors GI tubing medium grade including all required fittings as required at site complete all as specified and directed of following sizes:

(f) 80 mm bore

25. M&L for repairs to CI mechanical joints suitable for CI/DI pipe with all accessories such as CI sleave, CI outer rings,rubber gaskets,GI bolt,nut,washer ect all as directed by Engr-in-chrage and suitable for the following size of pipes:-
