Repairing of cracked slab by stapling procedure consisting of marking the position of vertical holes of dia. 30mm at a distance of 225mm from the crack at a spacing of 600mm centre to centre. Drilling the holes of 30mm dia to a maximum depth of 150mm (D/2) thereafter cutting the slit of 30mm width of a depth of 100mm (D/2) in transverse direction to the crack followed by removal of debris and cleaning the holes and slit. Roughening the sides of holes and slits by sand blasting / sand paper. Inserting the steel bars of (Grade Fe415) 16mm dia and filling the holes and the slit with an approved epoxy resin based anchor grout of approved make such as Sika, Fosroc, Master Builders Solutions (BASF), STP, Pidilite upto 10mm above the top surface of the steel bar. Above this level, non-shrink micro concrete of approved make such as Sika, Fosroc, Master Builders Solutions (BASF), STP, Pidilite shall be filled upto the top level of PQC after applying epoxy bonding agent at the sides of the slit/holes. A groove shall be made along the line of cracks displaying spalling and filled with approved fine epoxy mortar of approved make such as Sika, Fosroc, Master Builders Solutions (BASF), STP, Pidilite all complete as per direction and satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and laying of prepacked polymer modified micro-concrete like Master Emaco S346 of Master Builders (BASF )/ Renderoc LA 55 of Fosroc/ Pidilite Dr fixit micro concrete/Sika Rep Microcrete-4 , complete as per direction of Engineer-in- charge.

Surface Preparation: Preparing the existing surface of concrete floor by scarification and cleaning by wire brushing etc. to remove all foreign contaminants, loosely adhered cementations layer, oil etc. to expose clean sound base concrete substrate. The existing joints (i.e. Construction Joints, expansion Joints, Dummy joints) shall be cleaned and removed from the joint fillers such as sealant etc. The loose concrete shall be removed from the joints and apron concrete surface and shall be cleaned with water jet until the surface free from any dust, unsound concrete, grease or oil etc. The surface shall be dried using the high pressure Compressor. The cost of hire charges of machineries and all labour charges etc. complete.

Providing and sealing of construction, dummy and expansion joints in concrete pavement with fresh Polysulphide sealent of approved make such as Sika, Fosroc, STP, Pidilite , BASF, confirming to BS 5212-1990 or IS : 1433-1995 with backer rod of suitable size, applying bond breaker tape of suitable size over the backer rod, i/c providing temporary strip of adequate size during resurfacing treatment for maintaining the joints, rounding of edges including providing and applying Sealent primer of approved make such as Sika, Fosroc, STP, Pidilite , BASF two coats compatible with the brand of Polysulphide and preparing the surface and applying masking tape along the edges of joints to prevent accidental spillage of sealent on top surface and to give neat finish to the sealent and removing the masking tape after application of sealent etc. complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge
