Surface excavation n.exc 30cm depth and averaging 15cm deep and getting out in hard/ dense soil

Excavating over areas, not exceeding 1.5 m deep and getting out in Hard / Dense soil complete all as specified and directed.

Grubbing up tree roots exc 30 cm and not exc 100 cm girth including cutting and digging out roots, filling holes and leveling off ground and making good the disturbed soil and removing of unserviceable material to a distance n exc. 50 m and clearing site all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Removing excavated material of Hard / Dense soil exceeding 50m and not exceeding 250m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Rolling, watering and consolidating formation surfaces in cutting with power roller 8 to 12 tonne including filling in soft spots, depressions etc which occurred during rolling (for portion of cutting/original ground only) to required camber and gradient including watering before and during rolling complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for soling (or sub base), spread thickness - 150mm, with broken boulders or quarried stone of size 100 to 50mm, deposited, spread, levelled in one layer, interstices filled, surface formed, rolled and consolidated to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour 150mm thick (compacted thickness) WBM, in two layers (75mm thick in each layer) with coarse aggregates (granite) of grading 2 (63 to 40mm size), spread, rolled and consolidated to gradient and camber required complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for preparing surface of WBM by brushing with wire brushes for removing cake, mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dust etc and applying evenly a priming / tack coat with bituminous primer @ 10 Kg per 10 Sqm complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Scarifying or picking graveled, macadam or bituminous macadam surface n.exc 100mm deep in area exc 400 sq m

Preparing surfaces of black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing cakeed mud etc sweeping with brooms & finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc

M&L for applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer (paving bitumen VG-10) @ 05 kg 10Sqm

M&L Bituminous premix semi dense asphaltic concrete 30 mm consolidated thickness with 5.50 % binder content by weight of total mix, as rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient using mechanical paver and rolled with 8 to 12 tonne power roller complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for preparing bituminous surfaces of road and marking 2.5mm thick centre lines, stop lines, dashes, arrows etc. and the like n. exc 10cm wide on roads pavements with hot applied thermo plastic road marking paint of approved colour confirming to BS 3262-1989 with special applicator machine all as per manufacturers instruction complete all as specified and directed.
