REPAIR TO CERTAIN ROADS UNDER AOR OF AGE BR IV UNDER GE (S) MEERUT CANTT

Repair to pot holes any depth n.exc 1 sqm each incl sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths etc cutting around edges to at lest 25mm in depth, making good by filling in screened & graded road metal, watering and well ramming (including supply of road metal) and making good by applying tack coat at 5 kg per 10 sq m. putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8 kg per 10 sq m, blinded with 0.09 cu m of stone chippings, 6.3 mm size and again will rammed (including supply or premixed macadam, binder and chippings), depth of potholes exc 30mm complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 75mm thick (compacted thickness) WBM, with Lime stone sand stone Flint or Quartzite coarse aggregates of grading 2 (63 to 40mm size) or of grading 3 (50 to 20mm size), spread, rolled & consolidated to gradient materials & camber required including scarifying the existing surface exc 50 mm & n.exc 100 mm deep complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Preparation of newly WBM surfaces of roads by brushing with mechanical means, wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc and applying by providing evenly a priming / tack coat with bituminous primer (VG-10) viscosity grade @ 10 Kg per 10 Sqm complete all as specified and directed.

Supplying & fixing in repair of retro-reflectorised traffic sign boards by providing and fixing new retro-reflectorised cautionary, mandatory and informatory sign as per ASTM D 4956-04 made of High intensity grade Microprismatic sheeting Type-IV, fixed over aluminium sheeting 2.0 mm thick of size 1400mmx1000mm supported on a Stainless steel of grade 304 Frame comprising of hollow square section of size not less than 25mm. This frame is further welded to hollow circular section of outer dia not less than 50mm size, 2.4 meter high vertical post complete as per drawing. This vertical post shall be embeded in M15 grade cement concrete in a pit of size 300mm X 300mm X 450 mm, 450 mm below ground level complete in all respect as per direction of the Engineer. Note- The rate quoted by the contractor shall be inclusive of forming letters with retro-reflective taping as per the site requirements and all as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for Premix bitumious macadam mixed with paving bitumen @ 4% binder (viscosity grade VG-30) viscocity grade mixed in hot mix plant transported to site on tippers and laid with mechanical paver, laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness n. exc 75mm ) with 8 to 12 ton power roller complete all as specified and directed. Note-(a) 5 nos of core cutter test to be carried out by contractor on his own cost before laying of SDAC on BM surface at location directed by Engineer-in-charge and test report to be submitted before processing RAR/Payment.(CTL/IIT Rorkee /any Govt Institution as approved by GE) (b) The unit rates are worked out on the basis of binder content of 4% by total mix. Any addition/deduction in the actual binder content used, the rate shall be adjusted as per given in SSR-II.

M&L for Bituminous premixed semi dense asphaltic 30 mm thick (consolidated thickness) with 5.5% binder content by wt of total mix paving bitumen (VG-30) viscocity grade mixed in hot mix plant transported to site on tippers and laid with mechanical paver, and roled to uniform smooth surface with 8 to 12 tonne capacity power roller and compacted to required camber and gradient and all directed and specified by Engineer-in-charge Note-(a) 5 nos of core cutter test to be carried out by contractor on his own cost after 7 days from date of laying of SDAC at location directed by Engineer-in-charge and test report to be submitted before processing RAR/Payment.(CTL/IIT Rorkee /any Govt Institution as approved by GE) (b) The unit rates are worked out on the basis of binder content of 5.5% by total mix. Any addition/deduction in the actual binder content used, the rate shall be adjusted as per given in SSR-II.

M& L for cleaning the road surface of dirt, seals oil.grese and foreign materials etc and applying 2 mm thick road marking strips (Rectro reflective) of white colour or yellow using hot thermoplastic material by filly/semi automatic thermo plastic paints applicator machine fitted with profile shoe heater drive by operator on road surfaces complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in repair cat eye solar reflective type of ABS body of size 100mm x 90mm x 20mm with two way prismatic reflector fixed with and incl MS stud of suitable size as per manufactures instructions.

Supply and fixing in repair Solar Cat Eye: Solar Cat eye (Stud) shall be confirming to IRC 35: 2015 or Latest. Solar road stud having 3 LEDs of colour red/yellow to a side (total 6 Nos.) housed in a tough pressure casted aluminum alloy of any size (120 x 130 mm), (100x130mm) and (125x125mm) with built in stem of suitable length for fixing with epoxy. LEDs, solar-cells, battery & light sensor well protected inside under tough unbreakable polycarbonate transparent sheet roof. System workable for 2-3 days (nights) after full charge in 8-10 hours.
