The available bid capacity is calculated as under, a. For Others Category bidders Assessed available Bid capacity i.e.,A x N x 2.5-B.

Eligibility Criteria

Tenders from Joint ventures are not acceptable.

Bidders shall not be under a declaration of ineligibility for corrupt and fraudulent practices issued by Government of Karnataka

Bidders shall ensure upload of relevant document certifying his/her status as Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe/other reserved category as prescribed in the tender document.

It shall be the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure credit of Tender Processing Fee and EMD into the respective receiving bank accounts of e-Procurement on or before the last date and time of bid submission.

EMD Payments through e-Payment mode shall be made as one single transaction and payments made in part are liable for rejection.

A copy of valid KPWD Class IV and above registration certificate.

The requisite Earnest Money Deposit (e-cash).

Employees Provident Fund Registration certificate.

A copy of G.S.T. Registration certificate.

To qualify for award of the respective contract each tenderer in his name should have in the last five years period i.e., from 2019-20 to 2023-24, achieved in at least Two financial years a minimum financial turnover (in all classes of civil engineering construction works only) of value usually not less than the estimated cost under this contract for works.

The bidders who meet the above specified minimum qualifying criteria, will only be qualified, if their available tender capacity is more than the total value. The available bid capacity is calculated as under, (a) For Others Category bidders Assessed available Bid capacity i.e.,(AxNx2.5-B).

Not with standing anything stated above, KBJNL reserves right to assess the bidder capability and capacity to perform the contract, if the circumstances warrant such assessment in the overall interest of KBJNL.

The successful bidder shall furnish within 14 days from issue of letter of intent before entering into agreement (1) Copy of Income Tax returns filed mentioning PAN and TAN for the financial year 2023-24 (Assessment year 2024-25) failing which the EMD amount will be forfeited and the tender will be rejected and the bidder shall be liable for subsequent penal action including black listing.

Agency has to deposit 5% of contract value as performance security deposit in the form of DD/FDR/NSC to that extent in favor of Executive Engineer, KBJNL, NRBC Division No.6, Chikkahonnakuni Payable at Devadurga at the time of signing of Agreement.

The amount put to tender is exclusive of GST and the tenderer should quote excluding GST.

The inteding bidders are advised to visit the site of work, make themselves familiar with local situation etc., before submission of bids.

The intending bidder should note that, as the tender invited is on percentage basis, if the bid amount based on the percentage quoted by the contractor is less than the amount put to tender, the contractor shall submit the additional performance security amount equal to the difference between the amount put to tender and quoted amount in any form as per security deposit clause mentioned in the tender document. In case of contractor quotes the rates above 125% of the estimated rates, then the amount over and above 125% will be withheld during the progress of work. The additional performance security will be released proportionately to the bill amount till the contractor achieves progress of entire work as per agreement.

Prior to awarding of work the Lowest (L-1) bidder should produce the original documents in support of the uploaded documents to enter in to the agreement. If the lowest bidder (L-1) does not produce the original documents for entering into an agreement then his bid can be treated as non-responsive bid as per Clause 26(4) of the KTPP Rules. The name of the bidder who does not produce the original documents shall be barred from participation in any of the tenders to be invited by KBJNL apart from forfeiting the EMD paid through e-cash.

The Agency should not sublet the contract. If the Agency is found to have sublet the contract, the contract will be terminated at the risk and cost of the Agency concerned.

The rates include crew charges, operational & maintenance charges such as cost of fuel, lubricants, stores, establishments, and depreciation & interest charges on hypothecation.

In special cases, if any machinery/machinery components are supplied by the Department, the working cost of the machinery/machinery components shall be recovered from the contractor.

Payment will be made to the actual quantity, not as per Agreement quantity. Agency shall note of this part while quoting the rates in the tender.

Payment will be made as per availability of grant.

The Agency should not have been declared as ineligible under corruption and fraudulent practices issued by Government of Karnataka / Government of india/Government Undertakings/Government Institutions like universities etc.,

The inviting authority reserves the right to reject any or all tenders without assigning any reason.

Corrigendum will be published in the web site KPPP portal for all modifications/corrections if any.

If any of the dates mentioned above happened to be a general holidays, the next working day holds good.

Topographical errors, if any, will not be ground for any claims by theTenderer.
