Cleaning the surface with detergent, wire brush, tools (inaccessible area) and making dust free. The work shall be carried out as per direction of Engineer in Charge and include all labour, materials, tools, plants, ladder scaffolding, spider, safety belts etc all complete (Surface preparation to acheive St2).

Removing of old paint, rust with help of power tool and preparing the surface to various standards (ASA 3.0) before application of primer. The rate will include all tools, plants, labour and other consumables and incidental charges. Nothing shall be paid extra. Except NBSR no.2, 4 and 5. The surface which are not accessible with the help of power tool shall be prepared with wire brush.

Covering the flooring with terpoline to avoid any stain marks at floors on daily basis including labor charges for spreading and rolling back daily (The dust collected should be disposed off to the specified place)

Providing and fixing the spider safety net made of polypropelene rope in double lesh having thread size 6 mm X 12 mm with grid 100 mm X 100 mm, upto the height of 15 metres at the platform of shed with necessary scaffolding, ladder, machine etc. with all lead, lift, ascent, decent and transportation etc. as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. The spider safety net provided, shall be retained in position at site continuously including shifting the spider net from one location to another location as many times as required during the execution of the entire work till its completion. Rate includes its maintenance for damages with additional materials, all highly skilled and semi skilled labour , equipments required to execute the job. The spider net shall not be removed without prior approval of Engineer in charge. Work will be carried out strictly in non operational hours as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Safety equipments i.e. Safety belts, helmets, HV vests, cones, reflective tapes etc Complete to be used in entire painting work of each building PEB steel structure.

Applying surface tolerant epoxy coating in two coats with epoxy based primer with minimum DFT of 200 microns at all locations wherever required and volume of solids not less than 75%. Paint is to be applied with spray painting, in place where its inaccessible it may be applied with brush (item to be used where surface is having scaling.)

Application of finishing coat epoxy polyurethane system of approved quality brand ot UV resistant coat at all locations and colour to achieve smooth & even surface with minimum volume of solids 57% and of 75 microns thickness of surfaces.
