| 6 | Carrying out maintenance of all the BG track and points & crossings in interchange yard & Factory Area, the length of which is appox. 21 KMs (including points & crossings and excluding tracks T-1, T-3 & old Neptha track) through out the year except Sunday / National Holidays including G.holidays by deploying a gang of sufficient persons comprising of Keymen, Gangman/ Helpers, Blacksmith and Hammerman during the normal working hours i.e. 8 A.M. to 5 P.M. However, out of the above persons, four persons should be stationed at nearest location of work site even at odd hours i.e. during 5 P.M. to 8 A.M. to attend any eventuality / derailment that may take place at any instant.
Note: One Operation consist of 21 nos. persons (02 Skilled + 19 Unskilled) daily in one month except Sunday/ National Holiday / Gazetted Holiday.
Following activities are included in the scope of this item, to ensure trobule free traffic operation:-
i) Daily patrolling of entire track length specified above including sunday.
ii) Casual renewal / adjustment of keys /jaws/spikes/gribs, cotters, fish bolts and nuts etc.
iii) Cleaning and oiling of points and crossings as and when required.
iv) Gauging leveling and maintenance of clearance at all wing rails.
v) Picking of slacks as per Railway norms as and when required.
vi) To keep the entire yard tracks free from all types grass and wild growth (by weeding out from ballasted portion of track and points and crossing and by cutting from ground level.
vii) Cleaning of level crossing as and when required.
viii) Oiling and graphting of joints.
ix) To maintain proper expansion gap and prevent creeping of rails as per the instructions of Engineer-in-charge.
x) Cleaning of drains along tracks for proper driange of storm water. | - | Each Month Operation | 12 | - |
