The substrate must be dry (in concrete, the residual moisture in the upper 2 cm must be < 5 %), sound and free from any material that would hinder adhesion. Mix component A (Blue component) into component B (Yellowish component) thoroughly in propotion 1 : 0.43 by weight with the help stirring stick. The mixture should be a uniform colour, free from streaks. Apply the primer evenly with roller and immediately lightly sprinkle silica sand (0.4 – 0.8mm) at the rate of Minimum 100 grams/SqM over the wet primer, including cost of all materials, labour, machinery, tools & tackles and consumables all complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. The primer should be completely dry for further application of liquid applied polyester resin based membrane. The Consumption depending on the nature and condition of the substrate for priming ~ 300 – 500 gm/SqM including cost of material, labour, tools & plants etc. complete. Providing and Applying (Pre Measured Pack) 3 components cold liquid applied waterproofing system based on Unsaturated Polyester Resin and special needle punched non woven, system compatible polyester fleece of minimum 165 GSM as reinforcement. The cold liquid applied reinforced system is highly crack bridging, UV stable, immediate rain proof. Add Catalyst powder to Polyester resin and mix thoroughly if atmospheric temp exceeds 25 Deg c then add inhibitor and mix thoroughly until no streaks and of uniform are visible. Applying Approx. 2/3 of the waterproofing mix material to the substrate uniformly and Fleece is rolled with roller, removing air bubbles and allowing overlap of 5cm. The remaining 1/3 of the waterproofing mix material is poured onto the surface until complete saturation is achieved. The total system of waterproofing for material and components shall be from single manufacturer. The system is totally wet on wet and no time lag should be kept during the total laying of the system. The minimum consumption of the material shall depend on the nature and condition of the substrate @ 2.6 – 3.3 Kg/SqM. The rate shall including cost of material, labour, tools & plants etc. complete.
The tensile strength of the complete system/ membrane shall be minimum 6.25 N/Sqmm and Elongation with fleece reinforcement shall be minimum 74 % . The Tear Resistance of the membrane shall be minimum 32 N/mm and adhesive strength shall be minimum 2.5 N/Sqmm etc.
Note : (1) It is deemed that the Contractor has visited the site and has fully understood the site conditions.The Contractor shall provide 10 years Performance guarantee for the complete waterproofing work.
(2)The above work shall comply with complete waterproofing system of Single Manufacturer meeting all the technical specifications as per relevant codes and standards and complete material components as per manufacturers specifications shall be used in the work.The quoted rate shall be deemed to include the cost of complete system specified by the Single Manufacturer meeting all the technical specifications as per relevant codes and standards irrespective of whether the same is not explicitly mentioned in the item description.
(3) The work will also include sealing of all pipe inserts/embedded plates,protrusions,flashings with the above Waterproofing system and the cost of the same shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate.
(4)The quoted rate shall include the cost of repairing the unsound portions/cracks with polmer modified mortar/concrete wherever necessary and the cost of the same shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

Providing Epoxy chemical coating treatment of Reinforcement bars for old as well as new bars for PMM & repair including rust removing coating & Epoxy coating all inclusive of material & labor charges and as directed by EIC.
Providing and inserting HYSD shear key bars of required length and diameter in reinforced or plain cement concrete as per drawing & directions of EIC including power drilling holes of appropriate diameters to a minimum depth of equal to 12 times the diameter of shear key bar (minimum 12 mm dia, 200 mm long shear key bar), cleaning the drilled holes of loose dust by blowing, insertion of epoxy from cartridge, placing the shear key bar in position and allowing it to stay undisturbed for 24 hours. Treatment/repairs of the Cracks and joints in roof, wall, flooring, basement, pipe trenches etc. as and where required in all as following: Cutting V groove 10 mm to 50 mm wide 15 mm deep along with the cracks.
Filling the V groove 10 mm to 50 mm wide 15 mm deep with non shrinkable cementious crack filler of approved manufacturer.

Injection grouting with low pressure grouting system of epoxy system of Araldite GY 257/Aradur 21/Aradur 450/Aradur 2958 in proportion of 100:10:30:1 pbw for the injection grouting or approved make including cost of material, labor, all tools & tackles, pump set etc. and as recommended by the EIC. Aradur 21 & 2958 proportion shall be adjusted as per the site conditions.
Providing and fixing G.I. chicken mesh in the junctions of concrete & brick work / masonry or as directed by the Engineer in charge including cutting, fixing with nails in position before plastering complete all as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. (only area of the chicken mesh used alone will be measured).
Providing and fixing double tubular scaffolding system using Hframes with cup lock type on the interior / exterior side upto a height of 25 meter, made with 40 mm dia M.S. tube 1.5 m centre to centre horizontal and vertical tubes joining with cup and lock system with M.S. tubes, M.S. tube challies, M.S clamps and M.S staircase system in the scaffolding for working platform etc. and maintaining it in a serviceable condition for the required duration as approved and removing it thereafter. The scaffolding system shall be stiffened with bracings, runners, connection with building etc. wherever required for inspection of work at required locations with essential safety features for the workmen etc. complete as per directions and as approved by the Engineer -in - charge. The elevational area of the scaffolding shall be measured for payment purposes. The payment shall be made once irrespective of duration of scaffolding.
Dismantling 150 mm Dia drain pipes in shafts / open piping including taking out the pipes manually, breaking lead caulked joints, melting of lead, making into blocks including stacking of pipes within a lead of 200 m as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.
Providing and fixing PVC rain water pipes conforming to relevant IS type B and PVC SWR fittings & specials conforming to relevant IS including jointing with seal ring / With PVC solvent adhesive including fixing in walls using clamps etc complete all as per drawings, specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. a) for SWR PIPE 160 mm O/D.
Repainting of walls, columns, beams & other civil structures / MS structures like piping, equipments, MS structures, trusses, purlins etc with two coats of Synthetic enamel / plastic emulsion paint of approved shade & make over two coats of primer (up to a height of 5 meter) including surface preparation, minor civil repairs of cracks etc., preparing the surfaces, removal of old paint, if any, sand papering, as required including cost of scaffoldings, ladders, cost of all painting materials like paints, primer, knifing compounds, putty, sand paper, cleaning materials etc, cost of labour, all as per drawing, specifications and as directed by Engineer -in-Charge. The repainting job involves repainting in offices & laboratories of Attached lab and all lifting / shifting of materials, ladders, scaffolding etc shall be within the scope of work of the contractor and the cost of repainting shall be inclusive of the same. Also, repainting on MS structures with Synthetic enamel paint will have a thorough surface cleaning before application of primer and two coats of paint of approved shade & make.
Lead charges for lead up to 4 KM but not exceeding 4 KM, by mechanical transport including loading, unloading, stacking / levelling etc. a) Dismantled water proofing material/plaster/dismantled concrete material etc.
