ATTENDING DAY TO DAY COMPLAINTS AND PETTY REPAIRS INTERNAL ELECTRIFICATION OF MD ACCN JCOs/ORs OF BADLU SINGH ENCLAVE, ICCHUGIL ENCLAVE, KARTAR ENCLAVE, NEW JAT COLONY, OLD JAT COLONY AND MD OFFRS ACCN IN NEW CANTT AT PATIALA UNDER GE (SOUTH) PATIALA

'Notes: (i) Please refer Schedule 'A' Notes of tender documents.

Attending the complaints lodged by the occupants/users of electrification nature & rectification of the fault as per the complaint lodged etc by the user in any time (day and Night) in respect of main fixture /breakdown for light/fan/bell/light or power socket and LT line etc complete repairs to the extent by removing connections from the system removing faults in wires, battens, conduit, sunken boxes, junction boxes, main switches, MCBs/DBs utility light fitting, lamp holders AC ceiling/ Exhaust fans and other type of complaints to connected fixtures of the internal electrification including providing of petty stores such as wires of appropriate size and conductor matching to existing one upto the length of 1 mtr including insulation tape, screws , nuts as required to rectified the fault with regard to the complaint lodged and refixing of fittings, fixtures to their position as dismantled and respect of item if required to be paid under respective item as required complete all as directed at site to the entire satisfaction of Engr-in-Charge/users. Note :- (a) Repair of switches, fan, regulator , replacing burnt/ damaged wiring , replacement of burnt MCBs and main switch , voltage fluctuation, current leakage, repair of street lights, and replacement of tube lights and no light etc will be attended with in 8 Hrs as urgent nature. (b) Cost of taking out U/s Accessories is deemed to be included but S/F of new accessories will be measured and paid saperatly under Item item 4 to 63. (c) Petty item such as insulation tap, small wire pieces, screw etc is deemed to be included with unit rate of item (d) The complaints will be attended by electricians & respective helpers during day and night hours without delay. (e) The physical complaint will be collected from Complaint cell but the same will be notified to rep of the bidder by any online mode i.e. mobile phones, whatsapp or via any other means. (f) All necessary tools & plants i.e. multimeter, tong tester, spanner set, wrench, screw driver set, combination plier, testing lamp set, drilling machine, bamboo ladder, blower/ vaccum cleaner, crimping tool, cutting and chasing tool, insulation megger , etc will have to kept by each tradesman engaged by contractor at his own cost. (g) Any accident/mishappening occured due to carelessness of the worker or by any other means during the execution of work shall be responsibility of contractor. The bidder have to insured his employees/ workers with proper insurance plan & copy of the same submitted to the office of Engineer-in-Charge (h) One MOBILE PHONE should also be provided by contractor to the each trademan engaged by him with incoming & out going facilities for normal and after working hours also so as to contact him in case of emergency during the entire period covered under the contract to keep liaison / communication with MES staff .

(j) All stationery including complaint register and complaint slip shall be providing by the contractor duly printed with CA No and firm and the cost is deemed to be included in unit rate. (k) Item Sl no 2 is Labour only for Nature of complaint like no light,loose connection, burnt wire repair, shifting fitting/fixture, providing labour for temporary arrengement for light/fan, phase balancing by sharing load are cover under the above complaint any type etc. (l) Attending complaint like supply and fixing of switches, sockets, regulators, ceiling rose,bell push, lamp holder, sunken box, PVC plate laying of wire,LED batten any size,T-08 fittings,LED surface mounting lights, fan blade, ex fan louvers,pvc EX fan, PVC conduit all in any type etc executed on day to day maint work. Contractor will also be provided tradesmen on daily basis . (m) If the complaint is not attend within the prescribed time frame, a penalty of Rs. 500/- per complaint per day till completion of complaint shall be recovered from the contractor's dues. (n) Contractor/ bidder shall provide proper uniform to his employees/ workers as approved by the GE. (o) Safety equipment shall be provided by the bidder/ contarctor to his employees/ workers and the cost of the same included in the unit quoted rate & nothing extra shall be paid by the Govt. (p) The bidder/ contractor's rep shall be deposit the complaint slip duly signed by the user in token of satisfied completion of complaint to the concrened JE. (q) Payment shall be processed with mentioned complaint slip No. in the MB and same be uploaded in eMB portal please (r) Successful bidder shall calculate the quantities of various materials to be incorporated against each item of BOQ. 50% quantities of approved make from the GE shall be procured and handed over to Engr-in-Charge within 15 days from the stipulated date of commencement. Contractor shall submit the original purchase voucher along with so procured material to the Engr-in-Charge for his verification and entry in the MB accordingly. After consumption of first lot of material, same process shall be repeated by the contractor and the Engr-in-Charge for balance quantity of material. (s) Bidders attention is drawn to the fact that claim of running payment shall only be entertained after compliance of condition stipulated vide note no (r) herein above.
