Providing labour transport and T&P for locating the fault in HT/LT line in OH/UG Line/cable in by visual inspection recce of faulty area and repairs to the fault by means of replacement of Unservicible Jumpers / Fuse wires / Burnt lugs / MCCB etc. including restrain of broken/loose ACSR counductors / Earth wire. If required to make temporary connection for fault in HT/LT lines, the cable shall be given by the the AGE E/M store for temorary connection to resume the power supply urgently. Note : (i) Materials requried for fault repairs will be measured under relevant items included in BOQ. (ii) Contractor will depute the dedicated team and necessary transportation, he will completely responsible for all the safety aspects of his team. No dispute regarding safety of person would be entertain later on. If any mishappening occures during rectifaction of fault in HT/LT lines contractor will be fully liable to bear all the expenses of indls. Special Notes:- (for 66 KV Grid, Sub Stn No.3, AMN Dump Barsat and Baffle Range Dhablan) (a) Contractor will provide all set of T & P, communication device (Mobile Phone) to deployed persons, electrcian team for each sub station required for repair of HT/LT Electrical switch gear system including safety equipment such as All type of T&Ps (Bamboo ladders, screw drivers, wire/cable cutters with blades, multi meters, cutting plairs, torch lights etc) for routine maintenance and protection of the trademan incl safety equipment such as Hand gloves, Rubber boots, Sefety belt and helmets etc.
(b) On intimation of any type of repair/maintenance work of HT/LT switch gear incomer as well as out going feeder the contractor is responsible to locate the fault by the dedicated team comprising tradesman helpers required numbers as per the gravity /nature of the work involved to restore the power supply and communicate with SBA on duty and getting permit card for working on HT lines and deposit the permit card after rectification of fault, all the activities shall be carried out within reasonable time as given by the Engineer-in-Charge. (c) Contractor will provide necessary complaint slip, complaint boook & permit book, contractor will direct the instructions to indls for lodgging the complaints duly marked the location, time and date for earlier rectifications. (d) After getting the complaints, team deployed by the contractor will rectify the complaints within stipulated time i.e within 2 hours from the time of receiving of complaints. (e) Contractor should also provide a dedicated supervisor for collection of complaints from SBA, JE etc. He would be held responsible, in case complaints are not collected timely.

Matrial and labour for pin point fault locating through vehicle mounted fault locating machine for the HT/LT, 11 KV/440 volts of cable sizes 25 to 400 sqmm 3/3.5/4 core complete all specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Notes : (i) Contractor will liable to rectify the cables fault at urgently basis within the time of fault received for urgent location within the incl rate. (ii) Taking out HT 11 KV/LT 440 volts cable of any size and relaying of serviceable cable after rectification of fault, LT Joint and cable shall be replaced as per site requirements (excavation, earth work, sand cushioning, cable covers and joints shall be measured and paid separately).Relaying of cable for excavation upto 10 mtr has considered as a one job (iii) Contractor will be liable to rectify the cable fault at urgent basis witin the time of fault received for urgent location within the stipulated time and rate. (iv) If contractor will failed to rectiy the fault within the 24 hours from the complaint received, the penality of 200 Rs/hour will be payable.
Supply & fixing in replacement ACSR conductor of size as per site requirement to be drawn straight horizontal on over head lines on existing poles including binding with insulators. Weight of conductor shall be measured straight horizontal distance between centre of two adjacent poles and calculating weight of conductor of size and length by adding 3% extra for sag ,jointing jumpers,etc complete all specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
