Earthwork excavation for foundation in Hard stiff clay, stiff black cotton, hard red earth, shales, murram, gravel, stoney earth and earth mixed with small size of boulders hard gravelly soil inclusive of shoring to full depth strutting and bailing out water wherever necessary and refilling the sides of foundation with excavated soil other than sand in layers of not more than 15 cm thick, well rammed, consolidated and depositing the surplus earth in places as shown by the departmental officers with an initial lead of 10 metres and initial lift of 2 metres and clearing, levelling the site etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.

Refilling the excavated earth in layers not exceeding 23cm thickness and watering to OMC (Optimum Moisture content) and compaction of each layer to 95% of proctor Density through deployment of appropriate compaction equipment (8-10T power roller) vibratory power roller of short width ( 0.90m width drum) power roller or vibratory power roller/fuel operated or electrically operated, vibratory plate compactors, ensuring compaction of designed bund section including side slopes etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the Departmental Officers.

Supplying and filling with CS sand of each layer not more than 15 cm thick including consolidation etc complete and as per the technical specifications directed by the Engineer in charge of the works For sluices, weirs sand retainig wall etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the Departmental Officers.

Providing and placing in position of plain Cement concrete of grade M15 using hard well graded aggregates with the nominal maximum size of coarse aggregate of 40mm; weigh batching the ingredients and mixing in approved mixers/batching plant (to produce concrete of the specified characteristic strength of 15 N/mm2 at 28days) including dewatering the placement site by bailing/pumping and by diverting wherever necessary; laying the concrete in layers of not exceeding 15 cm thick and in bays; compacting and finishing the surface with all leads and lifts; watering curing complete so as to attain the profile and strength specified in the approved drawing & specifications etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the Departmental Officers. Fabricating, supplying and erection of screw gearing steel shutters of size2.00x1.30m for the vent size of 1.95 x1.30. The shutter made out of 10mm thick mild steel plates and horizontal stiffener made out of ISMB 150x75mm welded in equal spacing not more then 0.50M. the End vertical Stiffener are made out of 150x10mm Flat and Vertical flat is made out of 100x50mm ISMC welded in equal Spacing not more then 0.60M. The shutter is lifted with Lifting plate 2 nos of size 0.40 x0.40 m of 6mm thickness. The leakage proof arrangement were provided with suitable assembly for better leak arrangement. And shutter groove angle made out of Fabricated groove of size 150x175x150 mm with required height 3.15 m to 4.15 m including welding of hold fast of size 40x40x6 mm mild steel angle 5 nos on each side. Screw rod 80 mm dia mild steel round rod duly machined and fully threaded to suit the worm and pinion gear head set assembly to a height of 4.15 m to 5.15 m with required bolt and nut, fastened with eye plate of the shutter including greasing etc.
