Providing and laying plain cement concrete M15 (aggregate 20mm nominal size) below base slab of box structure, Retaining wall, Curtain wall, Wing wall etc. The rate shall include the cost of all labour, material etc complete job including bailing out water to keep the area dry as per instruction of Engineer-in-Charge. Payment shall be made based on approved plan dimensions for PCC as per clause No. 1500, 1700,2100 of MoRT&H Specifications 5th revision 2013.

Providing and laying plain cement concrete M20 (aggregate 20mm nominal size) for construction of Curtain wall. Providing and laying reinforced cement concrete for construction of approach slab in M-30 grade concrete using Ordinary Portland Cement of grade 43, appropriate sand, aggregate, water, admixtures in suitable proportions as per approved mix design, as per approved drawings supplied by the Engineer-in-charge, including all types of shuttering, centering, necessary tools, plants, machinery, and all related operations as required to complete the work with all leads, lifts and depths true to line, level and position all complete (excluding the cost of reinforcement steel, as per clause No. 1500 , 1600, 1700 and 2704 of MoRT&H Specifications 5th revision 2013.

Steel reinforcement: Supply, cutting, bending, with all leads, lifts and depths fixing in position reinforcement of any diameter,TMT Fe-500 as per relevant BIS specification and drawings complete in Sub structure, Box culverts. The rate shall include cost of all material including tying wire, binding wire, cover block, overlaps, provision of stools, chairs, spacer bars, support bars, labour, transportation, storing and all other incidental charges, tools & plants etc Complete. (Fe -500 Grade)include all costs as per clause No. 1600 of MoRT&H Specifications 5th revision 2013.(MORT&H 1600 & 2200)

Providing and fixing galvanized Drainage Spouts along with drain pipes complete as per Technical Specifications Clause 2705.

Providing and Laying Flexible Apron construction of flexible apron 1 m thick comprising of loose stone boulders weighing not less than 40 kg beyond curtain wall as per clause No. 2507.2 MoRT&H Specifications.

Providing and Laying Boulders apron on river bed for protection against scour with stone boulders weighing not less than 40 kg each complete as per darwing and boulder Laid Dry without Wire Crates as per clause No. 2503-A MoRT&H Specifications.

Providing weep holes in Brick masonry/Plain/ Reinforced concrete abutment, wing wall/ return wall with 80 mm dia P.V.C. pipe, pressure 4kg/cm2 extending through the full width of the structure with slope of 1V :20H towards drawing foce. Complete as per drawing and Technical Specifications Clause 13.8 - 2706 & 2200

Providing and laying of Filter media with granular materials/stone crushed aggregates satisfying the requirements laid down in clause 2504.2.2. of MoRTH specifications to a thickness of not less than 600 mm with smaller size towards the soil and bigger size towards the wall and provided over the entire surface behind abutment, return wall to the full height compacted to a firm condition complete as per drawing and Technical Specification and item 2 of Appendix-6 of IRC:78-2000.

Providing laying and fixing in position reinforced cement concrete Crash Barrier at the edges of the road, approaches to bridge structure and medians, constructed with M-40 grade concrete (including TMT reinforcement steel), including centering shuttering and form work etc. conforming to IRC:21 and dowel bars 25mm dia, 450mm long at expansion joints filled with pre-moulded asphalt filler board keyed to the structure on which it is built and installed as design given in the enclosure to MOST Circular No. RW/NH-33022/1/94-DO III dt. 24th June 1994, as dimensions in the approved drawing and at locations directed by the Engineer as per clause No. 811 of MORT&H specification-2013.

Providing & Laying 40mm thick compacted Bituminous Concrete (BC) in one layer with drum type hot mix plant/100-120 TPH batch type hot mix plant and with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with appropriate rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per clause No. 507 MoRT&H specification (5th Revision) 2013 for road and bridge works (5th Revision)2013 using minimum 5.4% to bitumen grade VG-30 as binder content by weight of total mix, complete in all respects including cost of bitumen instruction issued from time to time by MoRT&H regarding machinery & bitumen will be followed strictly. The use of self propelled mechanical paver fitted with electronic sensor device conforming to MoRT&H specification in mandatory. If bitumen required more than 5.4% as per job mix formula no extra payment will be made, extra bitumen required will be considered as incidental to work.

Mastic Asphalt (Providing and laying 25mm thick mastic asphalt wearing course with paving grade bitumen VG-30 meeting the requirements given in table 500-29, prepared by using mastic cooker and laid to required level and slope after cleaning the surface, including providing antiskid surface with bitumen precoated fine-grained hard stone chipping of 13.2 mm nominal size at the rate of 0.005 cum per 10 sqm and at an approximate spacing of 10 cm center to center in both directions, pressed into surface when the temperature of surfaces not less than 100OC, protruding 1 mm to 4 mm over mastic surface, all complete as per clause 516 of MORT&H Specification (Vth revision) – 2013)

Providing and laying tack coat with bitumen (Grade VG-10) pressure distributor at the rate of 0.25 kg. per sqm. On the prepared bitumen/granular surface cleaned with mechanical broom including cost of bitumen as per clause No.503 as per MoRT&H specification (5th edition) 2013

Providing and fixing 20mm thick premoulded bituminiuos joint filler in expansion joint for fixed ends of simply supported spans not exceeding 10 m to cater for a horizontal movement upto 20mm covered with sealant complete as per drawing and techincal specifications 2605 (MoRT&H No. 14.18 iii).

Providing & fixing retro reflective hazard marker confirming to IRC79: 1981 of size 900 x 300 mm with back support of M. S. angle 25 x 25 x 3 mm and post of 50 x 50 x 5 mm, 1500 mm high embedded into 0.3 x 0.3 x 0.3 m M20 grade concrete as per site requirements, using non-metallic micro-prismatic retro reflective sheet confirming to IRC: 67-2012 type IV specification fixed on 3 mm thick aluminium composite. Material sheet as base board with pressure sensitive adhesive having 0.5 mm thick Aluminium on both sides. (of reputed make such as Array Dennison/3M)

Dismantling Brick work, Tile Masonry or Tile Lining and Tile Terracing taking 80% reused quantity (HSR 8.5 b)

Dismantling Concrete- reinforced cement concrete with cleaning and straightening and cutting of bars if required (HSR 8.6(e))

Providing and laying 1800mm dia NP-4 Pipe LOWERING PLAI N AN D REINFORCED CONCRETE PIPES AND SPECIALS INTO TRENCHES FOR ALL DEPTHS AND LAYING OUT THE SAME to correct alignment gradients levels etc. including all dressing and trimming and cutting of concrete beds and joints holes, supporting the pipes and specials in correct position in a suitable rigid manner while the same are being jointed and until the surrounding benchings haunches and envelope are completed. The pipes shall rest on the beds at all points throughout their lengths and to ensure this they shall be grouted in where necessary as described in item No.29.38 INCLUDING CARRIAGE from the stores of the Engineer-in-charge and SAFE DELIVERY thereof AT SITE OF WORKS . This includes, loading, unloading, stacking at convenient points adjacent to the works ready for lowering as may be found most convenient in the interest of work. (HSR No. 29.44 t)

First Clas brick work laid in cement sand mortar 1:4 in abutment of bridge for diversion in foundation and plinth (HSR 11.4)

Brick on edge or pile flooring laid in cement sand mortar 1:4 on 75mm thick cement concrete 1:8:16 and 100 mm sand filling and cement pointed 1:2 on top (HSR 14.23).

Construction of embankment, sub grade and shoulders of new road with soil of minimum CBR (4 days soaked) of 8% obtained from borrow pit with all lead and lift transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slope and compacted to meet requirement of table 300-2 of MoRT&H specification clause No. 305. The finished road surface will be as per X-section approved by employer with respect to GTS. At no place top of sub grade of road shall be less than 0.90 m above adjoining NSL. NSL for a block of 100m will be worked as mean of 6 levels taken on 20 m center to center length of road. These six levels are at three location on both side one at edge ROW. Other at 5 m and 10 m away from ROW. In case the quantity of earth work calculated with NSL and finished level found to be less than 281.48 cum. Then actual quantity (less than 281.48 cum) will be paid. In case quantity worked out is more than 281.48 cum, then only 281.48 cum will be paid. Excess quantity shall be incidental to work and nothing extra will be paid. Further it shall be ensured that atleast 500 mm of sub grade with earth of CBR 8% shall be constructed at each location. Wherever any cutting of existing subgrade is required on this account excavation as well as handling and disposal of earthwork to accommodate minimum 500mm thick subgrade of minimum 8% CBR shall be carried out by the agency at his own cost. Nothing extra will be paid on this account. Before start of work, L-section shall be got approved from the employer with respect to GTS. However, typical X-section attached at section 9 of DNIT. Note: If soil of CBR 8% is not available then the agency will do appropriate stabilization as per IRC –SP-89-2010 as approved by SE-in-Charge and nothing extra shall be paid on this account and it will be incidental to work. No earth work will be allowed from PWD land.

Backfilling Behind abutment, wing wall and return wall complete as per drawing and Techincal specifications 710.1.4 of IRC :78 and 2200 MoRT&H No. (13.9).

Credit of Old Material (Recovery items) The rates quoted against recovery items will not be included in the total amount rather it will be deducted while calculating financial statement of the agency. Material obtained from dismantling / scarifying of existing bituminous crust have been calculated taking assumption that 80% of theoretical material will be retrieved. The dismantled / scarified material can be issued for use in any of the item for the work after modification (bringing it to required specifications) on approval from the employer. In case it is not possible to use this material on the work, the agency can take away this material. The material can be taken away by the agency at the price quoted by the agency. However, the reserve price is as under : NP-4 Pipe 1800 mm dia (10 meter length) recovered from diversion @ Rs. 4320/- each (10 meter length)

Steel @ Rs. 2500/- Quintal Note :- All quantities of the above materials have been worked out on the basis of theoretical quantities laid on this road. However, agency may visit site before quoting rates and assess the extent of retrieved material. There shall be no measurement after actual scarifying and if material after scarifying is found on lesser side, no claim of agency on this score will be entertained and full recovery on the basis of quoted rate and quantity exhibited in the BOQ shall be made. The reserve rates are minimum rates to be used as base for quoting purchase rate by the agency. No rates below the reserve price will be entertained and reserve price will be considered for all purposes in case the agency quotes lesser than reserve price. Note:- In case of any difference in the unit & nomenclature of any of the HSR items depicted in this DNIT and that given in HSR. the unit and nomenclature given in HSR Shall be applicable. ii) In case of any difference in the unit of any Non- schedule items depicted in this DNIT and the Conventional unit of that N.S Item as per practice in this department the conventional unit as per practice shall be applicable.
