| 10.00 | Excavating the site by breaking bitumen road using JCB & JCB Rock Breaker will be done to reach to the line. After reaching to the line & having shutdown of 1500 mm dia. West Delhi Main or by closing the existing old 800 mm dia. sluice valve whichever will be feasible, window in the existing 800 mm dia. PSC line will be cut & submersible dewatering pumps will be inserted using Hydra Crane to dewater the line. After dewatering the line completely, existing one number PSC pipe piece will be cut at both ends & will be taken out from the existing pipe using Hydra Crane. In the meantime, making of both flanges compatible with the butterfly valve, socket & spigot joints for the MS & PSC joints will be made & jointing of the flanges with the MS pipe pieces & jointing of the socket & spigot joints with MS pipe pieces will be done. Now fitting of the butterfly valve with both side flanges using nut bolts & washers & rubber sheets will be done. Now the total MS piece arrangement including butterfly valve & socket spigot fitted put down at the site to fit with the existing PSC pipe. To do that cutting for collar joints & windows in both sides i.e. socket & spigot sides will be made. Now after fitting both socket & spigot end & then butterfly valve with flanges & then fitting of the collar joints & closing of collars & windows will be done. After completing that butterfly valve will be made open for testing. Simultaneously existing old sluice valve chamber will be broken from roof side & cutting of the existing nut bolts of the dome joints of the existing valve will be done & after cutting completed, upper dome of the valve along with flap & spindle arrangements will be taken out from the valve body using Hydra Crane. After that MS plate of suitable size will be cut as per the opening of the valve body & will be fitted above the lower dome with nut bolts & washers & rubber sheets to make the existing valve dead. Now after starting 1500 mm dia. West Delhi Main checking of the sites will be done if there is any leakage & if the working of the valve i.e. opening & closing is proper or not. After completing these restorations of the old valve side completely & part restoration of the new valve fitted side will be done using JCB except making of the new butterfly valve chamber.
