REPAIR/ MAINTENANCE OF INTERNAL ROAD, FURNITURE AND ROAD PAINTING AT 14 GTC SUBATHU UNDER GE KASAULI

M&L repair to pot holes, any depth, not exceeding 1 Sqm each including sweeping free from dirt and mud or water, scoring sunken surfaces of black top, cutting around edges at least 25mm in depth & making good by filling in screened & graded road metal, watering and well ramming (including supply or road metal) and inspected/approved before laying the premix carpet complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for scarifying or picking gravelled macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces area exc 400Sqm depth exceeding 50mm but not exc 100mm complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for one layer of 7.5cm thick of granite(compacted thickness) WBM with coarse aggregate (granite, trap or basalt) of gradient 2 (size 63mm to 40mm) spread voids filled with screenings and blinded with coarse sand, spread, rolled to gradient and camber required and to achieve required compaction with power roller 8 to 12 ton capacity, complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No -3 here-in-before but except materials complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparing surfaces of unsurfaced water bound macadam by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for premix bituminous macadam (consolidated thickness 75mm or less) with binder content 4% by weight of total mix, rolled with 8 to 12 ton power road roller and compacted to required camber, gradient complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for applying evenly a priming coat of paving bitumen at the rate of 10 Kg per 10Sqm on unsurfaced surfaces i.e.pot holes and WBM surface complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation of black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirts etc; complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for applying evenly a priming/tack coat of paving bitumen at the rate of 5Kg per 10Sqm on black top surfaces complete all as specified and directed.

Bituminous pre-mixed asphaltic dense concrete 40mm consolidated thickness with 6% binder content by weight of total mix,using bitumen of VG 10, spread ,rolled and consolidated with with 8 to 12 ton power road roller to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and directed. Note:- (i) Automatic hot mixing plant of adequate capacity shall be used for heating and mixing of aggregate, bitumen etc for premix dense asphaltic concrete and mix for both items shall be laid with mechinical pavers (ii) Quantity of bitumen in dense asphaltic concrete shall be used as per design mix and shall be approved by the GE, any veriation in quantity of bitumen in design mix shall be priced as specified in the perticular specification through deviation order. unit rate shall be quated shall be deemed to include the cost of design mix.

M&L for preparing bituminous surfaces of road and marking 2.5mm thick centre lines, stop lines, dashes, arrows etc. and the like n. exc 10cm wide on roads pavements with hot applied thermo plastic road marking paint of approved colour confirming to BS 3262-1989 with special applicator machine all as per manufacturers instruction complete all as specified and directed.

S&F for cat eye solar reflective type of metal body alloy of size 100mm x 100mm x 20mm with PAMA striplens reflector of model No. DA 972.0 fixed with and incl MS stud of suitable size as per manufactures instructions, complete all as specified and directed.

S&F for Manufacturing, supplying and fixing retro reflective Mandatory/ Regulatory sign boards of 900mm diametre with support length of 3750mm and made up of 2mm thick aluminium sheet, face to be fully covered with high intensity encapsulated type heat activated retro reflective sheeting conforming to type - IV of ASTM-D 4956-01 in blue and silver white or other colour combination including subject matter, message (bi-lingual), symbols and borders etc. as per IRC ; 67:2001, pasted on substrate by an adhesive backing which shall be activated by applying heat and pressure conforming to class -2 of ASTM-D-4956-01 and fixing the same with suitable sized aluminium alloy rivets @ 20 cm c/c to back support frame of M.S. angle iron of size 25x25x3 mm along with theft resistant measures, mounted and fixed with 2 Nos. M.S. angles of size 35x35x5 mm to a vertical post made up to M.S. Tee section ISMT 50x50x6 mm welded with base plate of size 100x100x5 mm at the bottom end and including making holes in pipes, angles flats, providing & fixing M.S. message plate of required size, steel work to be painted with two or more coats of synthetic enamel paint of required shade and of approved brand & manufacture over priming coat of zinc chromate yellow primer (vertical MS-Tee support to be painted in black and white colours).Backside of aluminium sheet to be painted with two or more coats of epoxy paint over and including appropriate priming coat including all leads and lifts etc. complete as per drawing , specification and direction of Engineer-in-charge.

S&F for Manufacturing, supplying and fixing Retro reflective regulatory sign board of size 900 mm dia meter made out of 2 mm thick aluminium sheet, face to be fully covered with high intensity encapsulated lens type retro -reflective sheeting as approved by Engineer-in-charge . Letter, symbols, borders etc. will be as per IRC - 67 with required colour scheme on the boards and with the high intensity grade A. The aluminium sheet to be riveted to M.S. frame of angle iron of size 40x40x4 mm. The boards will be fixed to 1 No. 50x50 mm square post made of M.S. angle 50x50x4 mm, 4 m long welded to the frame with adequate anti-theft arrangement .Sheet work to be painted with two or more coats of synthetic enamel paint over an under coat (primer) and back side of aluminium sheet to be painted with two or more coats of epoxy paint including appropriate priming coat complete in all respects as per direction of Engineer-in-charge

S&F for metal tubular dealineator made out of ABS round body fitted with 2 Nos 65mm dia highly reflective reflectors made out of PMMA and mounted on 45/50 mm dia mild steel pipe of 600mm height duly powder coated and thermo plastic elastomer 3 bands of green, red and yellow reflector radium tape of 25mm wide strips with anti theft steel net for reflector protection including embedding in PCC 1:2:4 (150x150x300mm) type B-1 complete all as specified and directed

S&F for solar cat eye aluminum alloy shall (100% water proofing design according to 65) of size 125mm x 125mm x 25mm (shank 65mm) of high efficiency Mono rystafie solar panel 2.4V/ 0.3 watt one NI-ed rechargeable battery (1.2V/ 1600MA) consisting of super bright LED with 10,000 to 18,000 mcd completed as per manufactures instructions etc.complete all as specified and directed

Removing spoil (material obtained after scarifying) to a distance exc 100m but n.exc 500m including necessary loading and unloading complete all as specified and as directed.
