On Bituminous surface @ 0.25Kg/Sqm

Providing & laying premix bituminous macadam base course with stone aggregate of quality size and grading as specified in specification and straight run bitumen of grade 60/70 @ 4% by weight of total mix including hot mixing of stone aggregate and bitumen in hot mix plant, transporting mixed material and laying mixed material with paver finisher to the required level and grade rolling with road roller of 8 to 10 ton capacity to achieve the required compaction etc. complete as per specifications and including spreading the stone dust/lime on the finished surfaces as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note: The testing of stone aggregates and bitumen shall be carried out as per 'MORTH'/IS specifications. The entire cost of material testing shall be borne by the contractor.

Providing & laying premix bituminous macadam (dense bituminous concrete) road surfacing course using mineral aggregate satisfying the gradation set out in the specifications with 6% binder content 60/70 or equivalent (by weight of total mix) with the aid of hot mix plant and paver finisher including rolling with road roller of 8 to 10 ton capacity to achieve the required compaction etc. complete as per specifications and including spreading the stone dust/lime on the finished surfaces as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note: The testing of stone aggregates, bitumen and mix design with job mix formula etc. shall be carried out as per 'MORTH'/ IS specifications. The entire cost of material testing shall be borne by the contractor.

Providing & laying 10mm thick seal coat of premixed fine aggregate (passing 2.36 mm and retained on 180micron sieve) with bitumen using 213 kg of bitumen of grade 60/70 bitumen per cum of fine aggregate and 1.00 cum of fine aggregate per 100sqm of road surface including rolling with road roller of 8 to 10 t capacity to achieve the required compaction etc. complete as per specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note: The testing of stone aggregates, bitumen etc. shall be carried out as per 'MORTH'/ IS specifications. The entire cost of material testing shall be borne by the contractor.

ON NEW SURFACES

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate (size range 53 mm to 0.075 mm ) to wet mix macadam (WMM) specification including premixing the material with water at OMC in mechanical mix plant, carriage of mixed material by tipper to site, for all leads & lifts, laying in uniform layers with mechanical paver finisher in sub- base / base course on well prepared surface and compacting with vibratory roller of 8 to 10 tonne capacity to achieve the desired density, complete as per MORTH specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Earthwork excavation over areas in all soils except soft and hard rock, dressing side slopes and excavated surfaces to the required profile, camber and grade, filling the low spots within a distance of 50 m, with approved excavated material in layers not exceeding 250 mm watering, consolidating etc. and disposing of surplus earth within a distance of 50 m to be levelled and dressed etc. complete.
