Demolition of cement concrete (unreinforced) of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided for and removing the debris to outside MD land complete all as specified and directed.

Excavating in trenches n exc 1.5m wide and n exc 1.5m in depth; for foundation etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc. n exc 10sq m on plan and n exc 1.5m in depth and getting out in soft loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Excavating over areas exc 10sq m on plan and n exc 1.5m in depth and getting out in hard/dense soil complete all as specified and directed.

Rough excavation exc 1.5m in deep but not exceeding 3.0m above/below ground level and getting out in any type of soil complete all as specified and directed.

Returning filling in including spreading levelling watering &well ramming in layers n.exc 25cm in any type of soil complete all as specified and directed.

Removing of excavated material n.exc 50 m and depositing where directed at a level n. exc 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for coarse sand filling under floor or in foundation including watering, leveling and consolidation etc. complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for high density polythene film ( transparent colour) in single layer of 400 micron thickness of virgin quality (as per ASTM D-2103, IS-2508) , water proof, wrinkle free without puncture having minimum weight 390gm/Sqm, non-recycled laid with side and end overlapping not less than 300mm complete all as specified and directed. Note : (i) Sand layer shall be measured and paid separately under respective item of BOQ. (ii) Measurement shall be for net area. Quoted rate shall be deemed to include overlapping of polythene film.

M&L for Pavement Quality Concrete (PQC) of any thickness of minimum field Flexural Strength of 45 Kg/Sqcm lower control limit (LCL) at 28 days in pavement slab in field as per design mix using min 400 Kg of cement per cum (only 43 grade OPC must be used in PQC) mixed with non circular synthetic fibre reinforcement by mech means at the rate of 0.25% by weight of cement per cum of PQC. The max size of aggregate in PQC must be 31.5 mm and gradation (as per Table 600-3 of MORTH Specification) including steel formwork for laying in bays and for butt nosing, rounding off edges, curing, spread and compacted by using needle, plate and screed vibrators, etc. complete all as specified and directed. Note :- (i) Expansion joints, Construction joints and Dummy (Contraction) joints shall be measured and paid separately under respective items. (ii) Deduction shall be made in computing concrete quantity for expansion joints. No deduction shall be made in computing PQC for Construction joints and Dummy (Contraction) joints. (iii) Finishing coat shall be measured and paid separately. (iv) For the purpose of pricing this item, cement content shall be considered 400 Kg/Cum. Minus price adjustment @ Rs 8 per Kg for cement shall be made to the quoted rates in case quantity of cement is less than 400 Kg/ Cum. However no plus price adjustment shall be made to the quoted rate in case quantity of cement is more than 400 Kg/ Cum. (v) The cost of admixture required as per design mix shall deemed to be included in the quoted rates. (vi) Non circular, virgin, synthetic, monofilament polyster fibres shall be measured and paid separately as "Supply only" under respective item of BOQ. (vii) Design mix for PQC shall be got carried out by the contractor from NABH accedredited IIT/NIT/Govt Engg College/Govt approved Lab and shall be got approved by GE before commencement of cement concrete work in PQC/hardstanding.

Supply only non circular, virgin, synthetic, monofilament polyster fibres of length 12mm to 18mm, specific gravity 1.34 to 1.39, UV stable alkali resistant, equivalent diameter 15 to 40 micron, minimum melting temperature 250°C and minimum tensile strength 300 MPa be used upto 0.25% by weight of cement, all as per IS Codes complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for finishing surface of concrete pavement by brooming while concrete is green complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for forming Dummy/Contaction Joints an initial saw cut of 3mm soon after the concrete has set, upto a depth of 1/3 to 1/4 of thickness of the PQC slab, widening the first saw cut to 6mm and 24mm deep by using diamond bit cutter of approproate size, straight and smooth edges, cleaning joints thoroughly by air compressor, making the joints dry, vaccum cleaned and making free of dust, dirt, oil, grease, vegetaion and other debris, filling the joint premoulded compressible polyethylene closed cell medium density filler board as specified thereafter applying two coats of primer with thin brush by forward and backward movement at an interval of 30 minutes before placing the backup rod and pouring the sealant , placing of closed cell medium density, cross linked polyethylene foam backup rod of minimum 8mm dia over filler board and filling with polyurethane based sealant complying with requirements of BS 5212, BS4254 and EN-141875-2003 with minimum movement accommodation factot MAF (+/-)30% having minimum 10 years performance guarantee applying masked tape on edges of joints and removing masking tape after filling of sealant as per method specified by the manufacturer iincluding removal of debris from site complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for forming Construction Joints 10mm wide and 25mm deep in PQC (Hardstanding). by early enrty saw and subsequent cutting by using diamond bit cutter of approproate size, straight and smooth edges, cleaning joints thoroughly by air compressor, making the joints dry, vaccum cleaned and making free of dust, dirt, oil, grease, vegetaion and other debris, applying two coats of primer with thin brush by forward and backward movement at an interval of 30 minutes before placing the backup rod and pouring the sealant , placing of closed cell medium density, cross linked polyethylene foam backup rod of minimum 12mm dia, application of bond breaker tape on top of backup rod for complete width of the joint and filling with polyurethane based sealant 12mm complying with requirements of BS 5212, BS4254 and EN-141875-2003 with minimum movement accommodation factot MAF (+/-)30% having minimum 10 years performance guarantee applying masked tape on edges of joints and removing masking tape after filling of sealant as per method specified by the manufacturer iincluding removal of debris from site complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Plain cement concrete (1:4:8), type D-2 (using 40 mm graded stone aggregate) as in foundation filling and mass concrete all as specified and directed.

M&L for plain cement concrete 1:2:4 type B1 using 20mm graded aggregate as in surface channels, drains, benching for manhole, and similar works, etc. and finishing the exposed surface without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for plain cement concrete (1:3:6) type C-1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate as in coping including weahering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles and thoratiing, etc, and including necessary formwork and including and finishing the exposed surface without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for precast cement concrete solid block ( 1:3:6 ) type C-1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) exc 10cm in width as in block masonry built in cement mortar (1:6) etc complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down cement plaster of any description, on brick or stone or PCC block masonry walls/ceiling etc. including raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water etc and including removing debris/rubbish from the premises upto 500m from site complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 10mm thick rendering cement plaster in cement mortar (1:6) on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces and stone masonry surface finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for precast reinforced cement concrete (1:2:4) type B-1, using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in cover slabs to drains, manhole cover slabs, chullah hoods, chajjas, water troughs, mangers, shelves and similar articles with plain faces and the like and set in cement mortar (1:4 including necessary form work as complete all as specified and directed. (Note : Reinforcement shall be measured and paid for separately)

S&F 10mm dia and over Mild steel TMT bars, cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends as binding with and including mild steel wire (Annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for framed work such as grills,gratings, etc.. with ends of bars shouldered and/or riveted or forged into spikes; framed guard bars; barred iron doors; ladders; framed balusters; walk ways; railings; framework of water tanks and similar work conforming to Fe.290 Gde-E-165 complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for preparation of new steel surface of any description over 10cm width or girth and applying two coat of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of primer complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 300mm bore reinforced cement concrete pipe, class NP2, with collars; laid on concrete bed to required slope and jointed with CM 1:1 complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for cement concrete (1:4:8) type D-2 using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in concrete bed for 300 mm bore reinforced cement concrete pipes including packing under haunching against the sides of pipe after they are laid and tested complete all as specified and directed.

Unit rates quoted by the contractor/bidders shall be deemed to be included of this aspect also.
