| 6.00Providing ,Laying, jointing & testing of GMS pipe as per IS1239-2012 with upto date amendments (plain ended pipe) with circumfrential butt welded joints by electrical arc welding (94% welding and 6%flanged joint ) with minimum two layers capable to withstand required test pressure (minimum welding thickness shall be equal to pipe wall thickness) including manufacturing and fabrication of reducers/ tapers, all short pieces, bends of required degrees as per site requirement made from parent tubes. The laying of pipe shall also include intermediate flanged joints spaced at an interval of 16 pipe lengths or where ever required as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge duly welded in three layers (two for outer & one on inner side) and all other operations such as cutting, welding, jointing, fabrication of bends, tees etc , lowering and laying in excavated trench to ensure required level including flushing, cleaning and hydraulic testing complete in all respects & to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer in charge (Earth work in trenches and the cost of providing and fixing of flanges i/c nut & bolts, gasket will be measured and paid for separately).The fabricated bends shall have three or four cuts having its radius not less than five times the dia of pipe. Providing and welding M.S. flanges at 5% joint flanged, conforming to following tables as per IS 6392-1971 (Latest with up to date amendments) with plain end MSERW pipe /GI pipe by two layers on outer faces and one layers on inner face to make the joint leak proof (The cost of providing and laying of MSERW /GI pipes and butt welded joint to be measured and paid for separately). The welding of flanges should conform to IS: 816-1969 with electrodes as per IS: 814-1991 and required number of nuts and bolts conforming to IS 1364 including cost of gasket sheet nuts & bolts. The thickness of gasket sheet not less then 3.00mm conforming to IS 2712-1998. The work shall be done to the entire satisfaction of Engineer in Charge with in all leads and lifts.

Providing, laying, jointing and testing in trenches of Galvanised mild steel electrically resistance welded steel flanged pipes with 5% flanged joints and remaining 95% with butt welding including cost of bends complete conforming to IS:3183-2012 as per dimensions weight and test pressure mentioned below in a random length of 4m-7m with butt welded joints, The M.S. flanges are to be provided 5% of total joints as per table below conforming to IS: 6392-1971 (latest upto date amendments) and welding of flanges with pipes as per IS: 816-1965 with a electrode as per IS: 814-1967 including required Nos. and size of M.S. nut and bolts as per IS: 1369-1967 and compressed asbestos fiber jointing gaskets sheet not less than 3mm thick as per IS: 2712-1965. PUMPING MACHINERY (Refer to Data SheetNo. 4)
Supply of star rated energy efficient Submersible pumping set of KSB/Calama/ WPIL/ Crompton/BS/ SABAR/ Oswal/ Kirloskar or any other make approved by JSV HP conforming to latest relevant IS-5659-1970 latest with upto date ammendmeds. The pump should be fitted with bronze impeller or suitable alloys suitable for handling Clear water/Raw water having greased packed bearings and shaft with wound stator on motor side and with soft protection sleeve on pump side ensuring better life for shaft coupled to a submersible squirrel cage electric induction motor (water proof type) of required HP & 2900/1450 rpm of reputed make conforming to BIS 9283-2013 latest with upto date amendments, totally dust and water proof for submersible duty isolated from the pump by intermediate casing with double mechanical seal in oil chamber and grease packed lubricated bearings and provided with stainless steel thrust bearing plate to with stand non vertical loads with minimum wear and tear.The power of electric motor/motors should be at least (+) 10% in excess of the maximum power required by the pump/pumps in the operation range of (+) 10% and (-) 15% of the duty point head. It should also be fitted with a device to take up expansion of water with the heating of motor. The pump set should include water level guards, erection clamps , cable clips, depth gauge, actuated NRV's & Sluice valves compatible for automation of approved class etc. The work should be completed to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in – Charge. The starting current of the motor shall be limited to not more than 4.5 to 5 times of full load current. The HP are indicative.Since the rechack & verify and re-design of proposal/scheme is to be carried out by the lowest bidder, the design/drawings so approved by the competent authority after finalisation of design and drawings,any variation in HP and other accessories etc. (Refer to Data Sheet No.4.2)

Main Reservoir & Sector Storage tanks: - Designing, Constructing, Testing & Commissioning (to be approved by the competent authority) RCC Circular under ground/partial under ground & Over Head storage reservoirs as per capacity given below at various stages/sites including excavation in foundation in all kinds of soil. including PCC (1:3:6) in foundation and M:30 design mix in bottom slab/raft ,walls and beams. And RCC (1:1.5:3) in roof slab/dome with provision of inspection path around the dome with all alied Civil Works such as c/o chamber for valves, refilling and disposing of surplus excavated earth with in all leads and lifts. The job also includes providing lowering, laying, erecting, hoisting and jointing of pipe assembly for inlet, outlet, overflow and scour pipe with bye pass arrangement consisting of GI / MS pipes special and valves of required classes and dia and all other accessories required such as SS ladders inside and MS Laddersoutside, CI cowl type ventilator, MS manhole covers with frames of heavy duty with proper locking arrangement, water level indicator. The tanks shall be hydraulically tested for water tightness, All works shall be conforming to relevant IS code. Gaseous Chlorination at main storage tank of 3,30,000 ltrs at Chonki & 2,90,000 above village Siula :- Supplying,errection and commissioning of gaseous chlorination plant at two points complete in all respect having chlorinator capable to deliver 0-2500 gm/hr of chlorine gas along with 2 No sets of 1W+1S Booster pump set of approved make with electric motor and 2 No sets of 1W+1S water piping from water main to booster pump . It shall also consist of chlorine gas cylinder 100 Kg capacity duly approved by CCE Nagpur and filled with chlorine gas 1 No at each along with chlorine analyzer to indicate chlorine content level in the chlorinated water to supply. The contractor/firm shall also supply accessories/spares such as Multipurpose cylinder key--1No,lead washers-6No,Ejector Gasket-2sets,Hose Clips-4No,Ammonia Bottle-50ml-1No alongwith safety items covering chlorine leak emergency kit, self contained breathing apparatus, Eye-shower for each unit alongwith complete in all respect as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge. Automation of the Entire Project:- The tenderer/firm shall provide proposal for automation which comprises of (i) 1 Intake arrangement (ii) WTP OF 1.20 MLD capacity (iii)Pumping Machinery for 2 Nos Pump houses (iv) 3 Nos Main Balancing Reservoir (vi) 10 No sector storage Tanks of schemes (vi) Providing and fixing various actuated valves of relevent class and dia as per relevant Data Sheet and technical specification shall be provided in all storage reservoirs at outlets and shall be automated in such a way that these are automattically operated at pre fixed hours/ time or any other logic decided by the department and operated from main SCADA centre at left Bank of Kalam Khad Pump house. Electromagnetic flow meters of approved makes shall be provided at each storage reservoir outlets and its output in the shape of total quantum of water delivered in a hour day and month shall be generated at main control station. GSM based devices shall be installed at each tank location, which shall send massages through SCADA station at remote access location at Jal Shakti Division Office Chowari, Sub-Divisional office Chowari & Sub-division Nanikhad
This data transmission system at each tank consists of field instruments for providing digital and analog signals to data transfer module. This module will have a communication to web data transfer system modle communication. The PLC station will have control station with programmable graphic process, mimics, real time and historical trending face plate and group display, alarm management and report with Laser Jet printers and required furniture. At each tank locations controlling devices shall be installed with water meter sensors, flow transmitters, level transmitters in each tank. Installation of hardware along with commissioning/ programming as per user requirement shall be done. The firm has to submit detailed automation proposal incorporating all the hardware involved owing to above mentioned scope in the technical bid. The detailed automation proposal shall be got approved by the firm from CE Dharamshala . Firm has to incorporate all the inputs and outputs suggested by the department in the SCADA. The makes of Sluice valves shall be Kirloskar/Leader/KSB. The makes for Electrical actuators for automatic valves shall be Marsh/Auma/Rotex. The make for PLC shall be Siemens/Allen Bradly. The makes for Ultra Sonic level sensers shall be ABB/Siemens/E&H/Fobes Marshal. The makes for EM Flow meters shall be of Krohne Marshall/Siemens/ABB/SBEM/George Fishers/E&H.To automised the entire scheme up to junction points of all storage tanks and in data sheet no 9 &10 (Decision for finalisation of proposal lies with the department without assigning any reason) Refer Vol-II Technical specification & Data sheet No.:-5)
