Excavation in trenches for each additional 1.5m or part thereof in depth beyond the first 1.5 m for laying of cable/fixing of pole and getting out in any type of soil complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in excavated material (soil) including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm all as specified..

Removing excavated material to a distance n' exc 50 m and depositing where directed at a level n exc 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified.

Supply and laying stone patti 40-50 mm thick, 25-30 cm wide abutting each other for cable protection complete all as specified.

M & L PCC 1:4:8 type D2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate for foundation of pole. Complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M & L PCC 1:3:6 type C1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate for pedestal of pole. Complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Labour for removing and taking out existing underground LT Cable alongwith stone patti from trenches or pole or underground in pipe duct carefully cleaning of the same complete all as specified and directed.

Note:- (a) The contractor has to arrange minimum one well experienced electrician & one helper on all working hours attend the repair mentioned against item No. 15.00 to 15.08 throughout the contract period. The rates of services required as mentioned above is deemed to be included in quoted rates against the item mentioned. The assigned job should be attended within two hours after receipt. If the contractor failed to attend the job within given time frame penalty at Rs 1000/- per hour will be imposed for each additional hour. Work at site will be completed as per direction of Engr-in-charge.(b) Minor item such as lugs/spreader (copper/aluminium), electrician insulation tape, nut bolts, indicator lamp for R Y B phase, electrical wire of single core from size 0.5 sqmm to 10 sqmm upto a length of 01 metre for each job), mounting arrangement of MCCBs/MCBs/Panel meters and other minor misc items or iron/hardware work in case of un even fittings deemed to be included in quoted rates. in case of any dispute the direction of accepting officer shall be final and binding. (c) Contractor will arrange necessary tools and plants i.e. ladder, vehicle, electrician tool kit, measuring instruments etc., safety equipment, first aid box with all essential medicins.(d) The items required for replacement for attending the work shall be measured and paid separetly against respective item as supplied only.(e) Contractor will update complete details of repair / Job completed or under progress on daily basis. Details of repair / Job to be done will be provide by JE (E/M) throughout the contract period. Contractor will provide all necessary stationary i.e. job slip and job register necessary writting material and other required items pertains to his job. Contractor is responsible to update all the repairs/jobs completed or under progress and produce the same daily on demand to JE E/M. Rates for the same deemed to be included in quoted rates. The contractors has to produce all the complaints attended by him duly signed by user, JE E/M during the contract period while clearing payment either in RAR or in final bill.

M&L earthing complete as per electrical plate No. 3 of MES SSR Part-I with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 60cmx60cmx6.3mm thick, buried directly vertically in ground in a pit depth not less than 2.25 metres below ground level with top edge of earth plate at a depth not less then 1.5 metre below normal ground level connected to and including galvanised iron or steel earth wire 4mm by means of bolts, nuts check nuts and washers of galvanised iron or steel. Earthing strip shall be protected by galvanised iron or steel pipe 20 mm bore light grade and connected to continuous earth wire on pole / test point. Watering pipe shall be 20 mm bore GI medium grade. The earthing shall be of inclusive of excavation & earth work in any type of soil, charcoal, salt, funnel PCC pit and RCC cover complete all as specified & tested complete. Note 1. S&F in repairs for earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc.as required to, 25x4 mm galvanised iron strip galvanised iron or steel wire complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Labour and machine required for locating fault in U/G LT cable 1100 volts by using fault detector machine including transportation and by carring out high pressure test all as directed by Engr-in-charge. Note.-Required excavation and returning filling work deemed to be included in quoted rates.

Labour for pruning/trimming the tree branches 3 mtr adjacent to the LT OH lines/street light feeder on both sides of conductor taking out the same to dump yard/place as decide by Engineer in charge. Note 1- Contarctor will take prior approval from the Engineer in charge before commencing the work. Planning to execute the work and area wise shutdown required will be approved by engineer in charge and the same will be maintained by contractor. Note2.-An Electrician shall will always be present on site with working labour and all necessary tools plants i.e. ladder, vehicle etc.,safety equipment & first aid box. (Permission to work will be granted in written by the engr-in-charge.) Rates for the same deemed to be included in quoted rates
