MANNING PART

Provision of services for running of centrifugal/monoblock pumps in Pump house, external water supply system including maintenance of pump house at DMRL area and regulating of water supply by operating of any type/ size sluice valve, gate valve pumping to the service tanks attending and rectifying of complaints regarding of pumping and supply of water to entire DMRL area, every day water meter reading , water testing (Chlorine,) and adding prescribed quantity of Calcium Hypochlorite 65%-70% Chlorine content, mixing register shall be put up to concerned JE after completing the Testing (Testing done before distribution of water every day). water test Kit shall be provided by the Contractor to the Operators, and cost of the same shall be included in the quoted rate. Calcium Hypochlorite 65%-70% Chlorine content shall be provided by the department (which shall be measured and paid under relevant item) and for running/ routine maintenance of standby DG set 40 KVA as and when required, battery charging, filling up of HSD, water, maintaining of log book & POL record complete all as directed by Engr-in charge on all days including Sunday & Holidays in Man power Deployed : MPA ( semi skilled) -01 No per shift - (1st shift 0600h to 1400h & 2nd shift from 1400 hrs 2200hrs). Provision of services for attending electrical complaints lodged at MES Service Centre from users of DMRL complex area under AGE E/M-I, GE(I) R&D Kanchanbagh by way of receiving the complaints from users and update the same as and when rectified and submitting completion report duly signed by the occupants including electrical repair work of any defective wiring in buildings, service connection cables, main switches, DB’s replacing fuses and switching on/off of street lights at DMRL complex including checking repair and maintenance to LT/ HT over head lines, UG Cables, feeder pillar boxes, bus bars,GOD’s etc connected with external electric supply during the shift periods as mentioned below on all the days including Sundays and holidays complete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge for area as mentioned below :- (a) Attending all HT/LT installations as indicated above located at DMRL (General shift from 0900h to 1700h, i.e. Electricans -01 Nos, Helper-01Nos. Note for item Nos.1 to 6: 1. Contractor shall quoted basic rate, employers contribution towards EPF liability, contribution towards ESIC, contribution towards bonus, over head and profit and Labour welfare Cess (LWC) separately as applicable as per instruction in vogue in respective sub items including all Taxes, Cess, Levies as applicable including GST. 2. Any quoted rate against items/ sub items mentioned corresponds to/work out lower than the corresponding prevailing minimum rates of wages/subscription/contribution towards EPF,ESIC, Bonus and LWC shall be treated as non-bonafide and such bid shall not be considered for acceptancce the prevailing rate/wage/contribution shall be as applicable on the bid submission end date. 3. Contribution towards EPF, ESIC, Bonus shall only be payable after submission of valid & authentic document in support of proof of payment and authenticated by Engineer-in-charge.

4. The rate quoted for items of outsourcing shall not be less than minimum wages as notified by Government of India/concerned state Government/Local Body, whichever is higher and also not less than applicable rates for contribution of employer towards EPF, contribution to ESIC, contribution of Bonus and LWC under respective heading/sub-items. In case the rates quoted are less than the prevalling rates/instructions under any heading(s), the bid will be treated as non bonafide/ invalid, shall be disqualified and such bids will not be considered for acceptance. In such case, the lowest bidder shall be determined from amongst the valid/ bonafide bids only. 5. Quotations with 'Nil' or "Zero" consideration (overhead and profit) shall be considered non bonafide.

6. Any variation in minimum wage, liability of EPF/ESIC/Bonus/ LWC/GST shall be adjusted for reimbursement/ Recovery as under:- (i) Variation in minimum wage including other related statutory provisions shall be adjusted in tems of condition 63 of GCC (IAFW-2249). (ii) Variation in percentage/ rate of GST and LWC shall be adjusted as per instructions in Annexure XVI of MES Manual on Contracts which deals with "Reimbursement/ Refund on Variation in Taxes Directly Related to Contract Value. (iii) Rates shall be quoted only upto two digits after decimal. If any rate quoted/ derived by the contractor works out to more than two digits after decimal, then the same shall be rounded off upto two digits after decimal. The rounding off shall be done in accordance with rules for rounding off of Numerical Values in accordance with IS: 02 pf 1960 (Revised 2016) of BIS.

7. Monthly wages shall be paid by the contractor to the workers/labour only online. Proof of statutory deductions in favour of workers/labour shall be submitted by the contractor to the GE. The contractor will be required to submit copy of valid labour licence from the labour Commissioner within 15 days of commencement of the work. If the contractor fails to submit the same within this stipulated period the contact shall be liable to be cancelled and the performance Secuirty of the firm shall be forfeited accordingly. Reference is also invited to this HQ letter No.A/37696/Gen/Pol/E2W(PPC) dated 27 July 2017 as amended vide letter of even No. dated 09 May 2018.

Note for Item No 01 to 06 :- (i) In case of requirement tradesmen provided for one area may be utilised in other areas at the discretion of the department without any extra cost to department as directed by Engr-in-charge. (ii) Material required for maintenance of DG Set i. e. Diesel,Oil, Distilled Water etc shall be supplied by the department. (iii) Rate quoted is deemed to be included for leave reserve / off of the staff employed. (iv) On the Instruction of concerned JE, If any DG Set battery is not charged fully then the Operators should shift other DG Set battery OR Charger to this place & vice versa. (iii) The materials required for the area cleaning and Diesel Generator Set cleaning (Cotton Waste, Brooms and Carbon Cleaner for Battery terminals and water pipe for watering in earth pits shall be provided by the Contractor and cost of cleaning materials and pipe, provision of Printed Log Books & Stationery required shall be included in the quoted rate. (iv) All staff employed is responsible for cleaning and maintenance including restricting vegetation growth at Installation surrounding area. (v) Uniform and necessary Tools & plants shall be provided by the contractor.

(vii) The contractor should submit the ID Proof of Person Employed. The payment shall not be less than minimum labour wages, Documentary proof of payment shall be got verified by Engineer-in-charge for releasing of bills. (viii) Group insurance and PF for staff shall be provided by the contractor. Documentary proof to be submitted to the department.(ix) In case absence of operator, double the rate quoted will be recovered. (x) Deparmental equipments of each installation,shall be under safe custody, In case of theft of any item from installation recovery shall be made from the contractor as per direction of Engr-in-charge. (xi) Qualification / Experience certificate (minimum 05 years) with age not more than 60 Years of all staff employed shall be submitted. (xii) The person employed for one Job shall not be disturbed by contractor for other works of contracts. (xiii) After handing over duty to Reliever only, the duty person should leave the installation in Shift duties.

Note for srl item Nos.2 to 6: The rate quoted shall not be less than minimum wages as notified by Government of India/State Government/Local body whichever is higher. In case the rates quoted are less than the minimum wages as notified by the Government of India/State Government/ Local whichever is higher, his tender will be treated as non-bonafide and will not be considered for acceptance. In such case, the lowest tender shall be determined by the lowest amount amongst valid bonafide bids only.

Material and labour (Repair ) PART

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 meters wide and not exceeding 1.5 meters in depth and getting out in hard/ dense soil complete all as directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick using soil complete all as directed.

Removing excavated soil to a distance not exceeding 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 metre above the starting point complete all as directed.

Supply & laying GI pipe of 50mm bore, medium grade with all Fittings such as elbows,tees, unions, short pieces, bends, etc., including taking down old GI pipe complete all as directed. Note:- (i) Earth work shall be measured & paid separately under respective items

M&L for repairs to the submersible pump set of 3 to 5 HP capacity by, Renewal of impeller, bearing, repair to shaft (including Lathe machine work) complete all as directed.

Rewinding of motor of open well /submersible pump set with insulated copper wire of existing gauge and quantity for 3 to 5 HP capacity , including re-assembling, testing and commissioning complete all as directed.

M&L for flushing out the existing 150mm dia bore well for flushing out sand, mud with drilling machine till clean water is obtained complete all as directed. Note:- Taking out and lowering down of submersible pumpset,pipe and electrical connection shall be measured and paid seperately.

M&L for repairs to the submersible pump set of 7.5 HP to 10 HP capacity and Renewal of impeller, bearing, repair to shaft complete all as directed

Rewinding of motor of submersible pump set with PVC insulated copper wire of existing gauge and quantity for 7.5HP to 10 HP capacity, including re-assembling, testing and commissioning complete all as directed.

M&L for bailing out water, scraping and cleaning the internal surface of RCC underground sump/ of one Lakh gallon capacity by using bleaching powder, scrapping, removing the scales, washing out with water complete all as directed. M&L for Painting of existing valve chamber cover of size 1mtrs x1.2 mtr made out of MS sheet incl preparation by painting by rubbing scrapping removing of rust /dust or grease from the surface and applying one coat of anticorrosive synthetic enamel paint, both internal and external complete all as directed.

M&L for CI spigot and socket pipes such as bends, tapers ( any type, radius and angle ) Tee, collars caps and plugs for CI pipes upto 200mm bore complete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge. Taking out existing unserviceable Pully mounted on shaft of 25/30 HP motor and S & F new Pully suitable to existing motor including necessary lathe machine work and making alignment to existing pump complete all as directed.

Disconnecting electrical connections and taking down existing unserviceable 3-pole Power Contactor and S&F new 3-pole Power contactor, 3-phase, 415 volts, 50Hz suitable to existing motor including connecting, testing complete all as directed. MAKE :MNX-70 of L & T OR Equivalent

Renewal of worn out gland packing with “T” bolt and nuts, rubber packing and necessary arrangements for stopping the leakage of sluice valve of size 80/100mm dia complete all as directed.
