NOTES for item No 1.00: (a) Contractor has to employ minimum following staff for Manning & Operation of the Drinking water pump house installations at Sl item Nos 1.00 above: (i) One No Skilled Fitter general mechanic operator per shift of 08 hours (Total 03 shifts per day for water supply installation at Sl No.1 above) havining minimum ITI qualification in respective trade from Govt recognised institute with adequate knowledge with minimum two years experience in maint & operation of water supply installation. The operator must be competent to carry out the minor Maint of water supply installation all as directed by Engr-in-charge. (ii) One No skilled Valve operator per shift of 08 hours. (Total 02 shifts per day for water supply installation at Sl No 1 above) having minimum ITI qualification in respective trade from Govt recognised institute with adequate knowledge with minimum two years experience in maint & operation of water supply pipes & valves. The operator must be competent to carry out the minor maint of water supply pipe line & valves all as directed by Engr-in-charge. (b) The contractor shall pay the wages to the electrician/ Fitter general mechanic /Valve operators (as applicable) through e-payment i.e Aadhar linked bank accounts(Credit to their bank account). Engr-in-Charge shall ensure that e-payment made to electrician/ Fitter general mechanic /Valve operators and their wages shall not be less than prevailing minimum wages fixed by state Govt or central Govt whichever is more. Monthly e-banking statement shall be furnished by the contractor to the Engineer-in-Charge and the same shall be kept in record duly verified.

(c) It is the responsibility of contractor to deposit the Employees Provident Fund (EPF) to the concerned authority as per the prevailing scales as laid down by the Ministry of labour for all Electrician/operator/helper (as applicable) and necessay proof to this regard shall be submitted to GE for verification and records. The quoted rate shall be deemed to be included of above provisions. In case contractor fails to produce the proof of EPF, he shall be liable for action as deemed fit. Decision of GE in this regard shall be final and binding. (d) The unit rate quoted shall be deemed to include for cost of labour for daily routine maintenance as mentioned in particular specifications for trouble free functioning of installations. (e) The operator employed by the contractor shall be capable of carrying out minor maintenance & unit rate quoted shall be deemed to be include for cost of stationery, ink cartidge for printer, cotton waste ,petroleum jelly for battery terminals etc. (f) The Contractor shall maintain proper records of all kinds of daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, half yearly and yearly or whatsoever maint is carried out during contract period in a binded book / register and shall obtain the signature of Engineer-in-Charge. (g) Cost of stationery is deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted against Item No 1.00 (h) The contractor will ensure general area cleanliness and upkeep of the installation on daily basis.

(j) The contractor shall maintain all the registers under various labour law rules, 2017 and shall produce to GE and as well as officers detailed by labour department. (k) Cost of routine maintenance spares will be measured and paid separately under respective items here in after. However, cost of labour is deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted above. (l) The unit rate quoted shall deemed include for maintenance for earthpits, cutting & removing of vegitation and upkeep of the surrounding area, all around the bldg upto 6m from the plinth protection all as directed by Engr-in-Charge. In case of failure, a penalty of Rs 2000/- per month will be levied and recovered from dues. (m) The Contractor shall not employ same tradesman continuously for more than 11 months during the Contract period of 11 months. (n) In case of failure due to absence of operative staff, the contractor shall be liable to pay compensation at twice the cost of a day’s Manning & Operation derived from pro rata rate of Sch ‘A’ quoted rates. (o) The contractor shall provide 02 uniforms to each operator & helper and design of uniform shall be got approved from Engineer-in-charge. In case contractor fails to provide the uniform, recovery @ of Rs 1200/- per uniform will be recovered. (p) The rate quoted shall deemed to be inclusive of safety gear & required tools for minor maintenance. In case of failure to provide tools kit & safety kit (Gum boots-02 pairs, hand gloves), a penalty of Rs 3000/- will be recovered and levied. (o) Chemicals for chlorination/dozing will be measured & paid saperately under respective items here in below however cost of labour is deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted against item No 1 above.

Supply only following chemicals for chlorination / filteration of water all as specified and as directed:

(a) Alum lump grade Ist quality

(b) Calcium based granular disinfectant.

M & L for cleaning RCC Ground level reservoirs/ Hill top reservoir at Amdalli of following capacities including mouths of connected pipes etc by dewatering the reservoirs by using a portable pumpset of suitable capacity, removing all sludge/mud/dirt etc manually, pouring fresh water in sump through another pumpset, rinsing and dewatering the sumps including removing sludge/dirt particle manually, wash the sump using fresh water mixed with sodium hypochlorite & drain out water by a pumpset and finally applying one coat of antibacterial sodium hypochlorite solution to inner surface & writing details of cleaning in prescribed format complete all as specified and directed.

(a) 18,00,000 litres (2 x 9,00,000 ltrs)

(b) 3,00,000 litres

M & L for taking down ,transportation to workshop ,dismantling electric motor of 12.5 HP of any make three phase 415 volts,opening the motor ,cutting /removing the existing burnt winding and rewinding using super enamelled coppr wire of suitable gauge to match with the existing winding including varnishing & drying and reassmbling the motor ,connecting with pumpset with proper alignment and testing complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for cleaning the dual filters by opening up the inspection covers, removing the existing filter media, cleaning thoroughly & refilling the same & topping up the deficient media with granular fine pebbles of required quantitity & fixing back the covers including replacement of exisisting unserviceable rubber gasket all as directed. NOTE: Filter media required for topping up shall be measured under relavent item of this schedule.

Supply and filling granular fine pebbles of size 40mm to 6mm suitable for filter media of rapid sand water filters free from all types of salts, alkaline materials, minerals, silts, impurities etc all as specified and directed.

Supply and filling quartz coarse sand suitable for dual filter complete all as specified and directed

M & L for preparation of old decorated surfaces, filling cavities with filler and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint as per colour code with spray machine on surfaces of Drinking water pump house at Amdalli comprising of pressure sand filters,air compressors ,motor, Pump, water pipe lines etc including indication markings all as specified and directed.

M & L for repair to sluice valves at Amdalli including transportation to workshop, taking out the defective spindle, repairing the same in lathe by grinding ,turning ,cutting to make fresh grooves , packing the same in its original position and testing for leakage all as specified and directed.

S & F in repairs rotational moulded polythyne water storage tank of capacity 1000 litres, double layered, ISI marked (cylindirical vertical with closed top) hoisted and fixed in position all as specified and directed. MAKE: Sintex or as approved by GE.

S & F in repairs PVC water tank cover of existing make suitable for 500/750/1000 litre capacity with pvc hinges,bolts & locking arrangement etc complete all as specified and directed.

S & F in repairs CPVC tubes with all fittings and fixed complete to walls & ceilings or laid in floor all as specified and directed of following sizes :-
