Description :Tyre Defect Gauge for Broad Gauge Coaching Stock conforming to IRCA Part IV, Rule 2.8.4 an d Plate 38, suitable for checking wheel defects such as thin flange, sharp flange, deep flange, hollow tyre/fa lse flange, root radius, and wheel tread flatness up to 50 mm rejection limit and thin flange up to 22 mm re jection limit. The gauge shall be made of hardened alloy steel or stainless steel with permanent laser-etche d markings indicating rolling stock type and measurement parameters. The gauge shall have a robust yet li ghtweight handheld construction suitable for field/depot use, with a thickness of approximately 3.0-3.5 mm and a weight of approximately 300 g.
