REPAIR MAINT OF BLDG LIGHTENING ARRESTER SYSTEM INCLUDING OF EARTHING WITH MISC CONNECTED ITEM AT AFS PATHANKOT

Repairing to existing detective earthing by taking out carefully GI/steel /Copper earth plate ,watering pipe ,protection pipe and re-buried the same after removing sludge from the plate or replacement of plate as per site required with connected items .the earth plate shall be buried directly in ground with top edge of earth plate not less than 1.50 m below normal ground level ,connected to GI earth wire or GI/copper earth strip any size by means of nut -bolts,check nuts and washers of galvanised iron or steel all as shown on electrical plate No-03 of MES schedule 2020,part-1 (Specifications) and other work in any type of soil ,adequate quantity of charcoal dust &common salt in alternate layers all around the earth plate mainimum 150 mm in all directions with & including GI funnel made out of .63mm thick GI sheet ,wire gauge ,complete the earthing including testing of earthing on completion of job complete all as specified and directed. Note:-(i) Material like eath plate copper/GI will be measured and paid seperately (ii) all other material like salt charcoal ,GI pipe ,strip wiil be measured in same item as above

Taking down carefully by unscrewing from clamp / saddles plates air termination rods with GI supporting pipe for reuse at site or carrying the MES store complete all as specified and directed by EIC

Refixing air termination rods with GI supporting pipe retrived against item No-1 complete all as specified and directed by EIC

Taking down carefully by unscrewing from clamp / back plates strip any type for reuse at site or refixing at same or other location complete all as specified and directed by EIC

Refixing GI/Aluminium strip retrived against item No-3 complete all as specified and directed by EIC

Supply and fix in replacement for single pointed air termination aluminium rod 12mm dia 300 mm long including nuts & bolts for fixing air termination rod to pole/ pipe duly insulated by providing appropriate insulator all as required at site.

M&L in replacement for PCC 1:4:8 type D2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate as mass concrete for foundation of GI tubing /Air termination rod complete all as specified and directed by EIC.

M/L test point terminal block made of steel plate of size 75x75x6 mm drilled and screwed including 3 nos 8 mm dia 25 mm long hex. head screw complete all as specified and directed by EIC.

Supply and fix in replacement for aluminum strip 25x3.15mm as roof conductor or down conductor or along the pole/pipe complete with saddles/ insulators made out of porcelain or fibere and fixing screws all as required at site or directed. Note :- Insulators should be approved quality & backlite fixing tightly so that it does not fall of during winds / rains.

Supply & fix Supply and fix in replacement forGI strip 32x6mm, buried in ground or fixed to wall etc for loop earthing.
