Part I : Improvement of Periyakilpattu road to Samanikollai road Km 0/0 - 2/00 R251.

Clearing and grubbing road land including uprooting wild vegetation, grass, bushes, scrubs,saplings and trees of girths upto 300mm, removal of stumps of such trees cut earlie and disposal of unserviceable material and stacking of serviceable materials to be used or auctioned, upto a lead of 1000m including removal and disposal of top organic soil not exceeding 150mm thickness as per technical specification clause 201, etc. comp.

Earth work excavation in all classes of soils except hard rock requiring blasting depositing on bank with initial lead of 10M and lift of 2M including all labour charges and incidental charges such as shoring, strutting, providing coffer dams, bailing out of water and other item which may be necessary or convenient to the succesful completion of the excavation in a compacted condition a quality of materials not exceeding the amount of excavation including all machinery charges for T&P employed etc., complete for cutting side drains and forming berms as per standard specifications.

Providing and laying including cost and conveyance of gravel from approved sources to work site including labour for spreading, watering and compacting by power roller to achieve the required Proctor density at 100% compaction at Optimum moisture content and hire fuel charges for powerroller. watersprinkler and all other incidental charges such as traffic barricading and providing dangerlights etc. comp for base-course and side berms

Providing and laying spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate to Wat Mis Macadam(WMM) specification including premixing the material with water at OMC in machanical mis plant carriage of mixed material by tipper to site slaying in uniform layers 250mm thick with pavers in SubBase Base course on well prepared surface and compacting with vibratory roller to achieve the desired density including cost of material, labour charges, rentals for machinery, fuel and all other incidental charges etc.. complete.

Providing and laying of prime coat using Emulsion at the rate of 7 Kg per ten square meter over the WMM surface preparatory to another bituminous construction over it.

Providing and laying Tack coat over WMM surface(treated with primer) using 2.5Kg of bitumen emulsion RS-1 for 10sqm for preparatory to another bituminous construction over it including cost of material, labour charges, rentals for machinery, fuel and all other incidental charges etc.,

BITUMINOUS CONCRETE 30 MM THICK USING cmp (Grade-II) Providing and laying Bituminious concrete to 40mm thick using 0.13cum of 19.00-9.50mm 0.17cum of 9.5-2.36 and below with 50.3kgs of VG30/VG40 heating the bitumen and aggregates to required temperature and mixing them in required temperature in central hot mix plant 20-30 ton capacity, carrying the mix by tipper trucks to paver site, spreading the mix to uniform thickness of 40mm with mechanical paver to the specified grades and cross sections and consolidated by 8-10 tonnes vibratory/phenumatic roller to the required density etc., including labour for attending to paver to site etc.including hire charges and fuel charges foe 20-30t CMP with bitumen boiler, tipper trucks,paver finisher/9m paver finisher, vibratory/phenumatic roller and all other tools and plants required, including fuel and all other incidental charges etc., complete as per specification using CMP as per clauses 507 of MORTH Part-5

Construction of un-reinforced, dowel jointed at expansion and construction joint only, plain cement concrete pavement, thickness as per design, over a prepared sub base, with 43 grade cement or any other type as per Clause 1501.2.2 M30 (Grade), coarse and fine aggregates conforming to IS:383, maximum size of coarse aggregate not exceeding 25 mm, mixed in a concrete mixer of not less than 0.2 cum capacity and appropriate weigh batcher using approved mix design, laid in approved fixed side formwork (steel channel, laying and fixing of 125 micron thick polythene film, wedges, steel plates including levelling the formwork as per drawing), spreading the concrete with shovels, rakes, compacted using needle, screed and plate vibrators and finished in continuous operation including provision of contraction and expansion, construction joints, applying debonding strips, primer, sealant, dowel bars, near approaches to bridge/culvert and construction joints, admixtures as approved, curing of concrete slabs for 14-days,using curing compound (where specified ) and water finishing to lines and grade as per drawing and Technical Specification Clause 1501

Supplying and erecting centering for sides and soffits including supports for all reinforced cement concrete works like lintels, beams, etc., including strutting 3M high using Mild steel sheets of size 90cm x 60cm and B.G. 10, stiffened with Mild steel Angles of size 25mm 25mm 3mm laid over Silver oak (cw) joists of size 10cm x 6.5cm (Spaced about 91cm c/c) including removing the same after specified period without damaging RCC works in all floors etc., complete as directed by the departmental officers complying with relevant standard specifications

Cement concrete 1:1.5:3 mix using 20mm ISS HBG metal for RCC item of works excluding cost of reinforcement and fabricating charges, centering and shuttering but including curing and shall be finished smooth with cement mortar 1:3, 12mm thick and with kraft paper without claming extra as directed by the departmental officials complete complying with standard specifications
