Excavation in trenches n.exc 1.5m wide and n.exc 1.5m deep and getting out in any type of soil complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Returning filling in including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers n.exc 25cm thick in soil complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Removal of excavated soil to a distance n.exc 50m and depositing where directed at a level n.exc 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Demolition of Brickwork or stone/boulder masonry, build in cement mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars etc, but excluding ashlars facings, dressed stonework and precast concrete articles complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Demolition of reinforced cement concrete complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Demolition of cement concrete (unreinforced) of any description in any position complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Cutting into existing manholes for connecting new drains, making good to pipe and rendering cutting out existing benching for and forming branch channel (1/2 round or 3/4 section) in cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-1 smooth finished and forming benching as required. Internal dia of pipe 150mm complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Taking down cement plaster any description on brick or stone wall/ceiling etc including raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L Cement concrete 1:4:8 type D-2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate in foundation filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L Brick work with sub class 'B' bricks straight or curved on plan exc 6m mean radius with old size bricks built in cement mortar 1:4 complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L Rendering 15mm thick on brick surfaces in cement mortar 1:4 finished even and smooth without using extra cement including mixing intergral water proofing compound in the proportion as mentioned in manufacturer's instructions complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply only integral water proofing compound of approved manufacturer complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L TMT steel bars 8mm or 10mm dia in reinforcement, cut to length, bent to shape required including cranking, bending spirally or hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia all as specified. Complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L Precast cement concrete type B-1, 1:2:4 using 20mm graded stone aggregate as in manhole cover complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Cleaning of underground sewage pipe (Cleaning length n.exc 30m from manhole to manhole or from manhole to septic tank) including taking off manhole cover and cleaning of manholes of any size and depth and removing waste material/sludge to a distance of n.exc 300m and burrying in a pit and replacing manhole cover in position after cleaning complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge for the following size of pipes:

Cleaning of blocked WC seat of pedestal / squatt pattern upto 1st manhole and making the drian pipe of any size full functional by flushing with water to entire satisfaction of engr in charge including cleaning of 1st manhole and removing the waste material / sludge etc to a distance n. exc 300m and burying the same in pits and spreading the area with bleaching powder complete all as specified and directed by engr-in-charge.

Cleaning of blocked floor trap of bath room & kitchen etc upto 1st manhole including cleaning of gully / trap and removing the waste material / sludge etc ta a distance n. exc 300m and burying the same in pits and spreading the area with bleaching powder complete all as specified and directed by engr- in-charge.

Dewatering of soakage well of any depth in any position by pumping out and removing outside Military/Defence land by mechanical means (trolley mounted) and burying in pits all as directed including digging of pits in any type of soil and covering pits with earth after absorption of water and including providing and spreading required quantity of bleaching powder around the pit or dispose of waste material as per state protocol including taking down of slab cover and refixing the same CM 1:4 complete all as specified and directed by engineer-in-charge.

De-sludging of septic tank of any capacity including connected intercepting chamber, manhole shaft, sludge chamber & filterbeds of any description and in any position by pumping out and removing of sludge outside Military/ Defence land by mechanical means (trolly mounted) and burying in pits all as directed including digging of pits in any type of soil and covering pits with earth after filling of sludge and including providing and spearding required qty of bleaching powder or dispose of waste material complete as per state protocol, including taking down of slab cover and placing the same in existing postion complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Dismantling of PVC Drain pipes of 75/100 mm dia with fitting and taking out of trench, if required, Complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

S & F 75mm bore PVC (SWR) pipes single socketed, in any length with rubber ring joints, fixed to walls complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge

M&L for Salt-glazed stoneware drain pipe, grade ‘A’ internal dia of pipe 200mm, laid in trenches and jointed, complete all as specified & directed.

PCC 1:2:4, nominal mix, type B-2, using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in surface channel and drains including necessary form work, complete all as specified & directed.

Extra for forming fair finished drain or channel 30cm inner girth in cement concrete, using extra cement, including forms, moulds, mitred/stopped ends etc., complete all as specified & directed.

S&F Vitreous china wash down water closet (Pedestal pattern), white with ‘P’ or ‘S’ trap, plastic seat cover, jet system, chromium plated hinging device fixing with screws of suitable size including white closed pattern with flat bottom and cover, making connections to trap and to flush pipe etc. and making good to floors, fixed in repairs, complete all as specified & directed.

S&F as in repair Vitreous China squatting pan, 'Orissa' pattern, size 580 x440 mm white, with integral foot rests (excluding flushing cistern and flush pipe) incl setting the trap and pan in lime concrete (1 lime , 2 sand and 4 surkhi and 5 aggregate) min 150mm thick alround and finished just below level of rim of pan to receive floor finishing and including connection to trap and to flushing pipe/ syphonage pipe etc including making good to floor complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Note for all above items:- (a) Cost of excavation and earth work for pits for burrying the waste/sludge etc shall deemed to be included in the unit rate. (b) Any damge caused during cleaning shall be made good to entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge without any extra cost. (c) All types of equipments and safety kit required for working in foul condition shall be provided by the contractor to his workmen. The Engineer-in-Charge shall verify these aspects during currency of work. Al precautions/safety measures shall be kept in mind during execution of work. (d) Contractor will deploy at least 02 seawge cleaning person and 01 supervisor during the day hours.Supervisor will take complaint slip of sewage block daily from concerned JE for attending day to day complaints. Contractor's quoted rates shall be deemed to include for the same and nothing extra shall be paid on this account.
