Repairing of IPS anomalies in HBPL under group no.B

Repairing of identified IPS anomalies as per technical specifications and scope of work of the tender:

Earth work in excavation in all kinds of soil except hard rock requiring blasting for foundation trenches, up to any depth including trimming of sides of the trenches, dressing, ramming and levelling the bottom of the trenches correct to level, grade etc. including shuttering, bailing out of water, if any, filling in sides of foundation trenches, plinth etc. with the excavated earth available and/or depositing the excess earth within a lead of 75 metre, in layers not exceeding 20 cms thick, consolidating each deposited layer by ramming, watering, dressing to level and grade; cordoning of the working area and barricading if necessary to maintain safety of working personnel, local inhabitants and adjoining road traffic wherever necessary complete in all respects inclusive of cost of all labour, materials, tools, tackles etc. as per drawings, specifications and direction of Site Engineer.

Earth work in filling in foundation trenches or plinth with good earth obtained from excavation, in layers not exceeding 150 mm including watering and ramming etc. layer by layer complete. (Payment to be made on the basis of measurement of finished quantity of work)

Preparation of half cut sleeves by owner’s supplied 14"/12" MS pipes from owner's store. The pipe is to be cut into halves of required length (0.3 m to 2.0 m) and its internal surface shall be matched with carrier pipe's OD mechanically including loading & unloading and transporting of the pipes from store to site . Welding of half cut sleeves: Mounting half cut sleeves on pipe over pitted sections and fitting of clamps on the sleeves to achieve desired fitment for welding. Welding of sleeves in both longitudinal and circumferential ends with electrodes of make- Bohler or Esab or Lincoln or approved equivalent make of specific grade as per technical specifications of tender, inspection of the weld after root pass by Dye penetrant test (Consumables for DP test shall be supplied by contractor) etc. required to complete the work in all respect as decided and directed by the owner complete in all respect. Item cost includes providing and supply all required manpower, generator, grinding & welding machine, other required machinery, consumables etc. as per direction of EIC/ Site Engineer. This item will be operated as per the need. Payment shall be made as per actul length of welding.

Dewatering: Providing dewatering pump to site at least for 5 days ( each pump per site for at least 5 days) for each dig-site including accessories (suction/ delivery hose, foot valve, hose clamps, lube oil, etc.) fuel, maintenance costs, manpower and materials for operating the same, etc. complete in all respects as per the direction of Site Engineer/ Engineer-In-Charge.

Coating: Removal of old coating, surface preparation by CU slag blasting, application of primer, coating with owner supplied ( Cold Applied Tape materials for inner and outer wrap and primer) etc. complete in all respects with all tools, tackles, labour etc. as per the direction of Site Engineer/ Engineer-In-Charge.

Providing & supplying watchman at site for security of pipeline as well as equipment at odd hours for 8:00 hrs duty as per the direction of Site Engineer/Engineer-In-Charge.
