M&L Repairs/Maint & Servicing of DG Set 50 KVA capacity of MAKE : ASHOK LEYLAND, complete all as specified and as directed comprising with the following Works:- (a) Replacement of all Filters, Lubricating Oil. (b) Checking of Belt Tension, Battery Connections and Topping up Distilled Water (if required), External Bolts and Nuts and its Tightening, Safety Units and its Electrical Connections, Alternator Cable Connection, Engine Control Wirings. (c) Carry out necessary Tappet Clearance, if required. (d) Cleaning of Fuel Lines, Inlet Air Lines and Exhaust Liner Radiator Fins. (e) Check functioning of Changing Alternator. (f) Engine Safety viz. High Water Temperature Gauge, Oil Pressure Gauge, Oil Temperature Gauge and High Speed Gauge shall be checked for their functions and repaired/replaced if required. (g) Coolant Level and Conditioning of Coolant shall be checked and refilled if required. (h) The Governor shall be Checked and Tuned for Proper Functioning. (j) Check for Leaks if any and shall be rectified. (k) The Engine shall be Run on NO LOAD or at AVAILABLE LOAD, Check any Leakage and Abnormal Noise. If any such abnormality Noticed the same shall be Diagnosed and Remedial Action shall be taken to removed the casues. NOTE : All Spares and Consumable Items such as Distilled Water, Lube Oil, Grease, Filters and Other Spare Parts (Quantitites mentioned Item No. 7.51 to 7.67 here-in-after are Provisional only) are will be Measured & Paid as 'Supply only' under appropriate Items.

Disconnecting & Dismounting of Self Starter 12 Volts from the Engine of DG Set 20 KVA to 30 KVA, Transporting to nearest Authorised Workshop for Repairing, Replacement of Unservicable Parts, Servicing Complete, Transporting the same from Workshop to Site of Work and Re-fixing with DG Set, Testing, complete all as specified and as directed.
