Earth work in excavation for Pile caps. ,retaining wall etc. in all type of soils, weathered rock, existing footings, removal of boulders, concrete, ballast, stone etc including protecting the excavated sides, if required, till concreting, bailing out water to keep the area clean and dry during placement of reinforcement and concrete till the concrete sets finally. The item includes the cost of disposal of all spoils, dismantled materials, surplus earth for all leads and lifts as per clause No. 304 of MoRT&H Specifications 5th revision 2013 and to keep the work area neat and tidy during the work and thereafter. Payment shall be made based on approved plan dimensions for PCC below pile cap. The cost of backfilling around the pile cap and restoration of road, if required shall be included (MORT&H 304).

Providing and laying plain cement concrete M15 (aggregate 20mm nominal size) leveling course below the pile cap, approach slab, retaining wall etc. The rate shall include the cost of all labour, material etc complete job including bailing out water to keep the area dry as per instruction of Engineer-in-Charge. Payment shall be made based on approved plan dimensions for PCC as per clause No. 1100,1500 and 1700 of MoRT&H Specifications 5th revision 2013.

Bored cast-in-situ M-35 grade RCC piles of 1200 mm diameter in all kinds of soil (including hard & boulders) using Hydraulic Rig excluding cost of steel reinforcement, complete as per drawing and conforming to section 1100 and 1700 of MORTH specifications of latest edition and clause 709 of IRC: 78-2000/latest edition including cost of bentonite slurry, initial vertical and lateral load tests, routine load tests and removal of excavated earth with all lifts and lead upto 1000 Mtr. complete i) 1200 mm dia piles.) The scope of work in the above items include: 1)The cost of all initial layout of piles and setting out, initial excavation, if any. 2 a) The cost of boring through all types of soils/existing road/pavement, removal of all obstruction like boulders, old foundation concrete or rock to be paid in relevant item above by chiseling or any other method as approved by the Engineer-in-Charge. If a bore is abandoned for any reason no payment shall be made for such incomplete boring and shifting of the equipment's. 2b)The cost of filling up of the empty bore, if required. 3)The cost of preparation, circulation and handling of bentonite slurry. 4) The cost of disposal of all spoils, bentonite waste to keep the work area neat. 5)The cost of providing temporary liner and its withdrawal, if required below adjoining ground level (irrespective of the R.L. of the adjoining ground level) for vertical piles. 6)The cost of providing and mixing all ingredients of cement concrete (except reinforcement steel) including admixtures, with batching plant, transportation, placement of concrete by termie pipe for the required lengths of pile including providing cover blocks, stiffeners, handling bars etc. for safe handling of reinforcement cage. 7) The cost of breaking of pile head not earlier than 3 days after concreting and to remove spoil concrete to bring the pile head to the socketing level including cleaning and arranging the extended reinforcement bars as per drawings. 8) The cost of working for all leads, lifts, pumping / bailing out of water, labour, material and equipment etc. 9)The cost of mobilizing to site, installation at different locations transferring / dismantling, shifting, reinstalling and removal from site of the piling rigs and/or other equipment's and all accessories including working platforms. 10) The cost of identification, protection and maintenance of existing services, if any, which in the opinion of Engineer-in-charge are likely to be affected by piling operation incl. temporary shifting of such services to facilitate piling job shall also have to be done, if so required by the Engineer-in-Charge and the cost for the same as assessed by the Engineer-in-Charge shall be reimbursable. 11) The cost of barricading and all traffic safety requirements as specified in the tender document. 12) The cost of all incidentals, labour, material, equipment and works required to execute the job. The item also includes any other incidental expenditures for completing the job as per the direction of the engineer-in-charge. 13) The item includes the cost of testing of all the materials involved in the execution of the item as per QAP. 14) Initial vertical load testing, horizontal load testing, routine load testing required as per IS: 2911 part(iv) and as per MORTH Specifications. Minimum 2 no. of tests shall be carried out for each of Initial- Vertical load test, Initial- Lateral Load test, Routine-Vertical and Routine lateral Load test Initial Pile load test shall be carried upto failure, as per requirements of deflection as per IRC 78:2014 (with latest amendments) B) Mode of Measurement : 1) Length of pile shall be measured from cut off level to the tip of the pile correct to a cm in case where the pile is terminated. The rock level shall be determined as per criteria mentioned elsewhere in the tender document for payment of boring trough rock. 2) Reinforcement steel shall be measured & paid separately.

Providing and laying reinforced cement concrete M-35 for construction of Pile caps, abutment pile caps, Retaining wall, etc. using Ordinary Portland Cement of grade 43, appropriate sand, aggregate, water, admixtures in suitable proportions as per approved mix design, as per approved drawings supplied by the Engineer-in-charge, including all types of shuttering, staging, centering scaffolding, necessary tools, plants, machinery, and all related operations as required to complete the work with all leads, lifts and depths true to line, level and position all complete (excluding the cost of reinforcement steel). As per MORT&H specification for road and bridges works (5th revision) / latest edition as per clause No. 1100, 1500, 1700, 2100 of MoRT&H Specifications 2013.

Steel Reinforcement: Supply, cutting, bending with all leads, lifts and depths, fixing in position reinforcement of any diameter, TMT Fe-500 as per relevant BIS specification and drawing in RCC works in foundation. The rate shall include cost of all material including galvanizing / epoxy coating tying wire, binding wire, cover block, provision of stools, chairs, spacer bars, overlaps, support bars , labour, transportation, storing and all other incidental charges, tools & plants etc complete. as per clause No. 1600 of MORT&H specification 2013 / Latest edition for road and bridges works.

Providing and laying reinforced cement concrete M-35 grade for construction of Abutment, piers, dirt wall, pier caps, return wall, retaining wall and bracket etc. concrete using Ordinary Portland Cement of grade 43 appropriate sand, aggregate, water, admixtures in suitable proportions as per approved mix design, as per approved drawings supplied by the Engineer-in-charge, including all types of shuttering, centering, necessary tools, plants, machinery, and all related operations as required to complete the work with all leads, lifts and depths true to line, level and position all complete (excluding the cost of reinforcement steel, complete as per clause No. 1100,1500,1700 and 2200 of MoRT&H Specifications 5th revision 2013).

Providing and laying RCC M-40 for construction of bearing pedestal, seismic stopper, Cross girders, beams, etc. using Ordinary Portland Cement of grade 43, appropriate sand, aggregate, water, admixtures in suitable proportions as per approved mix design as per approved drawings supplied by the Engineer-in-charge, including all types of shuttering, staging, centering, scaffolding, necessary tools, plants, machinery, and all related operations as required to complete the work with all leads, lifts and depths true to line, level at site using appropriate method all complete (excluding the cost of reinforcement steel). Providing and installing single strip seal expansion joints of SANFIELD/ METCO/MAGEBA with a total allowable maximum movement 80mm as per Clause 2606 of MORTH specifications for Road and Bridge Works (5th Revision) 2013 supplemented with manufacturer’s recommendations. Entire installation is to be carried out strictly in the presence of manufacturer's representative only, at all times. The seal of the expansion joint shall be such as not to permit any dust collection at all times.A) The scope of work in the item includes: 1)Cost of all materials, labours, equipment and other incidental charges for execution of this item. Supervision during installation by the manufacturer is also included. 2)Installation & fixing of expansion joints as per manufacturers specifications and design / drawing approved by the engineer-in-charge including chipping of concrete, cleaning of concrete and reinforcement bars, leveling, necessary shuttering, pre-setting, welding etc. 3)Item to include necessary provision and filling of recess for the expansion joints at no extra cost 4)The item includes the cost of testing of all the materials involved in the execution of the item as per QAP and testing of completed and installed joints as per the acceptance criteria of MORTH. B) Mode of Measurement : 1) The expansion joints shall be measured in running meters. The length payable is the actual length provided at site including vertical parts of kerbs / crash barriers, footpath etc.

Providing and laying 25mm thick mastic asphalt wearing course with paving grade bitumen VG-40 meeting the requirements given in table 500-29, prepared by using mastic cooker and laid to required level and slope after cleaning the surface, including providing antiskid surface with bitumen precoated fine-grained hard stone chipping of 13.2 mm nominal size at the rate of 0.005 cum per 10 sqm and at an approximate spacing of 10 cm center to center in both directions, pressed into surface when the temperature of surfaces not less than 100o C, protruding 1 mm to 4 mm over mastic surface, all complete as per clause 516 of MoRT&H specification (5th Revision) 2013

Providing & Laying 40 mm thick compacted Bituminous Concrete (BC) in one layer with 100-120 TPH batch type hot mix plant and with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with appropriate rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per clause No. 507 MoRT&H specification (5th Revision) 2013 for road and bridge works (5th Revision)2013 using minimum 5.4% to bitumen grade VG-30 as binder content by weight of total mix, complete in all respects including cost of bitumen instruction issued from time to time by MoRT&H regarding machinery & bitumen will be followed strictly. The use of self propelled mechanical paver fitted with electronic sensor device conforming to MoRT&H specification in mandatory. If bitumen required more than 5.4% as per job mix formula no extra payment will be made, extra bitumen required will be considered as incidental to work. Note: - Before carrying out bituminous work, coating & stripping of bitumen aggregate mix is to be performed in accordance with IS – 6241. If coating and stripping of bitumen aggregate mix is less than 95%, anti-stripping agent will be used by contractor. The anti – stripping agent should conform to the requirement as stipulated in IS 14982:2017. The cost so incurred will be considered as incidental to work and nothing extra shall be payable. The type and brand of anti-stripping agent along with procedure shall be approved by SE-in-charge in writing before start of work. A proper record of results be maintained and same shall be submitted along with bills by the contractor. Note: - Where there is only BC on existing black top, cracks shall be sealed as MoRT&H specification 5th revision clause No. 3004.3, which may consists of (i) Fog seal/ or (ii) crack filling and or (iii) patch work repair as required at site in accordance with clause No. 3004.3.2, 3004.3.3 and 3004.2 of MoRT&H specification 5th revision respectively. Proper measurement and consumption shall be entered in MB for cracks sealed but no payment on this account shall be made as crack filling is incidental to work.

Drainage System: Providing and laying PVC drain pipes, spouts, GI steel gratings over formed holes in deck slab, fixing 150mm dia G.I. pipe runner pipes and 150 mm dia PVC down take pipes of approved quality and ISI mark at every pier etc. as per approved drawings including bends, collars, clamps, fasteners, threading etc., complete as per clause No. 2705 of MoRT&H Specifications 5th revision 2013. A)The scope of work in the item includes 1)The providing, placing, joining and fixing the drainage pipes with all necessary fittings, tools and tackles etc., complete as per the approved drawing. 2)The cost of works to make taping all points to be leak proof, tested etc. including all couplers, materials, manpower and tool and tackle etc. complete as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge. B) Mode of Measurement : 1) The measurement shall be made in numbers for the drainage port supplied and installed at site. The payment for the pipes will be made in Running meters. The quantity will be restricted to the length as shown in the approved drawings. a) 150 dia drainage spout with GI greeting.

Providing laying and fixing in position reinforced cement concrete Crash Barrier at the edges of the road, approaches to bridge structure and medians, constructed with M-40 grade concrete (including TMT reinforcement steel), including centering shuttering and form work etc. conforming to IRC:21 and dowel bars 25mm dia, 450mm long at expansion joints filled with pre-moulded asphalt filler board keyed to the structure on which it is built and installed as design given in the enclosure to MOST Circular No. RW/NH-33022/1/94-DO III dt. 24th June 1994, as dimensions in the approved drawing and at locations directed by the Engineer as per clause No. 811 of MORT&H specification-2013.

Supplying; fitting & fixing in position true to line and level POT / PTFE bearing consisting of a metal piston supported by a disc or unreinforced elastomer comfined with in a metal cylinder, sealing rings, dust seals, PTFE surface sliding against stainless steel mating surface, complete assembly to be as per IRC: 83 Part-III and as per clause no. 2000 and 2200 of MORT&H specification-2013.The bearing shall be of Sanfield/METCO/MAGEBA. (MORT&H 2000 & 2200) (all type of POT PTFE Bearings). a) Fixed bearing (3 nos.)

Approaches Construction of embankment, sub grade and shoulders of new road with soil of minimum CBR (4 days soaked) of 8% obtained from borrow pit with all lead and lift transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slope and compacted to meet requirement of table 300-2 of MoRT&H specification clause No. 305. The finished road surface will be as per X-section approved by employer with respect to GTS. At no place top of sub grade of road shall be less than 0.90 m above adjoining NSL. NSL for a block of 100m will be worked as mean of 6 levels taken on 20 m center to center length of road. These six levels are at three location on both side one at edge ROW. Other at 5 m and 10 m away from ROW. In case the quantity of earth work calculated with NSL and finished level found to be less than 2266.05 cum. Then actual quantity (less than 2266.05 cum) will be paid. In case quantity worked out is more than 2266.05 cum, then only 2266.05cum will be paid. Excess quantity shall be incidental to work and nothing extra will be paid. Further it shall be ensured that atleast 500 mm of sub grade with earth of CBR 8% shall be constructed at each location. Wherever any cutting of existing subgrade is required on this account excavation as well as handling and disposal of earthwork to accommodate minimum 500mm thick subgrade of minimum 8% CBR shall be carried out by the agency at his own cost. Nothing extra will be paid on this account. Before start of work, L-section shall be got approved from the employer with respect to GTS. However, typical X-section attached at section 9 of DNIT. Note: If soil of CBR 8% is not available then the agency will do appropriate stabilization as per IRC –SP-89-2010 as approved by SE-in-Charge and nothing extra shall be paid on this account and it will be incidental to work. No earth work will be allowed from PWD land.

Providing and laying, 200 mm thick in two layers (100 mm each) open graded granular Sub Base consisting of 100 mm thick (bottom layer) filter / separation layer confirming to table 400.1 grading - III of MORT&H 5th revision and balance thickness 100 mm thick (Upper layer) drainage layer confirming to table 400.1 grading - VI of MORT&H 5th edition / 2013 mixing in a mechanical mix plant at OMC, carriage of mixed material to the site of work, spreading in uniform layers with motor grader on prepared surface and compacting with vibratory power roller to achive course desired density complete as per clause No. 401 of MORT&H specification. Note: - Only crushed stone material should be used on local sand / tibba sand shall be used. The material finer than 425 micron shall have zero Plasticity Index(PI).

Providing & laying 75mm thick (compacted) stone metal (Grade-I) 63 mm to 45 mm ( in one layer )gauge wearing coat to water bound macadam using screening type ‘B’ compacting with 3 wheeled steel roller/vibratory roller 8-10 tonnes to achieve the desire density including lighting, guarding barricading and maintenance of diversion etc. as per clause No. 404 of MoRT&H specification road and bridge (5th revision) of 2013 as per drawing and design directed by the Engineer complete in all respects. Note: - No. local earth / natural occurring sand shall be allowed to be used as binding / screening.

Providing & laying 150 mm thick (compacted) stone metal (Grade-II) 53 mm to 22.4 mm ( in two layer )gauge wearing coat to water bound macadam using screening type ‘B’ compacting with 3 wheeled steel roller/vibratory roller 8-10 tonnes to achieve the desire density including lighting, guarding barricading and maintenance of diversion etc. as per clause No. 404 of MoRT&H specification road and bridge (5th revision) of 2013 as per drawing and design directed by the Engineer complete in all respects Note: - No. local earth / natural occurring sand shall be allowed to be used as binding / screening.

Providing, laying 100 mm thick spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate to Wet Mix Macadam (WMM) specification including premixing the Material with water at OMC in mechanical mix plant carriage of mixed Material by tipper to site, laying in uniform layers with paver in sub- base/base course on well prepared surface and compacting with vibratory roller to achieve the desired density as per MoRT&H specification for road & bridge (5th Revision) of 2013 as per drawing and design directed by the Engineer complete in all respects as per clause No.406. Providing and Laying 50 mm thick Compacted bituminous macadam in (BM) in one layer by drum type hot mix plant and paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade as per clause No. 504 table No. 500-4 of MoRT&H specification for road and bridge works (5th Revision) of 2013 using minimum 3.4 % bitumen grade VG-30 as binder content by weight of total mix, complete in all respects i/c cost of bitumen, instruction issued from time to time by MoRT&H regarding machinery & bitumen will be followed strictly. The use of self propelled mechanical paver fitted with electronic sensor device conforming to MoRT&H specification in mandatory. If bitumen required on this account is more than 3.4% as per job mix formula no extra payment will be made, extra bitumen required will be considered as incidental to work. Providing and laying 20mm thick premix carpet (PC) excluding cost of tack coat, with mixed material brought from drum type hot mix plant and laying with paver finisher and compacting with road roller to achieve specified value of compaction and direction of Engineer including cost of lighting arrangement, sign board and night watch, complete in all respect. i/c cost of Bitumen VG-10 grade as per clause 510 MoRT&H specification (5th edition) 2013 (NS). Note: - Before carrying out bituminous work, coating & stripping of bitumen aggregate mix is to be performed in accordance with IS – 6241. If coating and stripping of bitumen aggregate mix is less than 95%, anti-stripping agent will be used by contractor. The anti – stripping agent should conform to the requirement as stipulated in IS 14982:2017. The cost so incurred will be considered as incidental to work and nothing extra shall be payable. The type and brand of anti-stripping agent along with procedure shall be approved by SE-in-charge in writing before start of work. A proper record of results be maintained and same shall be submitted along with bills by the contractor. Note:-Before laying PC on existing black top all cracks shall be sealed as MoRT&H specification (5th edition) clause No. 3004.3. which may consists of (i) Fog seal/ or (ii) crack filling and or (iii) patch work repair as required at site in accordance with clause No. 3004.3.2 and 3004.3.3 of MoRT&H specification (5th edition) 2013 respectively. Proper measurement and consumption shall be entered in MB for fog seal/or crack filling/ or patch work but no payment on this account shall be made as fog seal/or crack filling/ or patch work is/are incidental to work.

Providing and laying ‘B’ type seal coat with VG-10 grade bitumen excluding cost of tack coat, with mixed material brought from Hot mix plant and laying with paver finisher and compacting with road roller to achieve specified/desirable value of compaction as per direction of Engineer including cost of lighting arrangement, sign board and night watch, complete in all respect as per clause 511 and 510.1.3 of MoRT&H specification (5th edition) 2013
