REPAIR REPLACEMENT WORKS FOR COPPER EARTHING SYSTEM FOR VARIOUS BUILDINGS AT ACEM, UNDER EMU (R AND D) NASIK

“Replacement/Reparing work of Copper Earthing for Various Buildings at ACEM, Under EMU (R&D) Nasik” as per scope of works attached as Appendix-‘A’.

Earth work in surface excavation not exceeding 30 cm in depth but exceeding 1.5 m in width as well as 10 sqm on plan including getting out and disposal of excavated earth upto 50 m and lift upto 1.5 m, as directed by Engineer-in- Charge:

All kinds of soil

Extra for levelling & neatly dressing of disposed soil completely as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Brick work 7 cm thick with common burnt clay F.P.S. (non modular) brick of class designation 7.5 in cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement : 3 coarse sand) in superstructure above plinth level and upto floor five level.

12 mm cement plaster of mix :

1:4 (1 cement: 4 fine sand)

Earthing with copper earth plate 600 mm X 600 mm X 3 mm thick including accessories, and providing masonry enclosure with cover plate having locking arrangement and watering pipe of 2.7 metre long etc. (but without charcoal/ coke and salt ) as required.

Supplying and laying 25 mm X 5 mm copper strip at 0.50 metre below ground as strip earth electrode, including connection/ terminating with nut, bolt, spring, washer etc. as required. (Jointing shall be done by overlapping and with 2 sets of brass nut bolt & sprinci washer spaced at 50mm)

Providing and fixing 25 mm X 5 mm copper strip in 40 mm dia G.I. pipe from earth electrode including connection with brass nut, bolt, spring, washer excavation and re-filling etc. as required

Providing and fixing 25 mm X 5 mm copper strip on surface or in recess for connections etc. as required.

Providing and fixing 4.00 mm dia copper wire on surface or in recess for loop earthing along with existing surface/ recessed conduit/ submain wiring/ cable as required.

G.I. nuts and through bolts with washer

Earthing thimbles and solder
