Supplying, laying, jointing and testing XLPE insulated, armoured, heavy duty, electric cable with stranded aluminium conductor 1100 volts grade, cross sectional area 10 Sqmm x 4core in trenches /along poles/on wall etc and including taking down of existing Under Ground cable from trenches/ along wall/pole etc, taking down of existing Under Ground cable from trenches/ along wall/pole etc, complete all as specified and as directed Notes for item No 1. : (i) Excavation and earth work, sand cushioning, protection covers shall be measured and paid for separately. (ii) Unless otherwise directed by the GE, the cable shall be procured by the contractor in single length (as manufactured) to meet the actual length of cable as required at site. However, for payment purpose, the length actually ordered & laid shall be measured and paid for. (iii) Cable jointing kit will be measured and paid seperately. However cost of jointing and jointing materials like thimbles etc of cable with busbar etc shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate of above item.

Excavation in trenches in soft/loose soil not exceeding 1.5 metre wide and not exceeding 1.5m in depth for laying of under ground cables/ pipes and not exceeding 10 Sqm on plan & 1.5 metre in depth for poles/independent holes etc, complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25cm thick in layers, complete all as specified and directed.

Removal of surplus spoil to a distance not exceeding 50 metre and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 metre above the starting point, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Sand cushioning in trenches for cushioning of underground cable including spreading, levelling, well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm in thickness, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for well burnt Sub-class 'B' old size bricks, best quality locally available laid flat, dry in trenches for cable protection, complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing GI tubing light grade 20 mm dia for protection pipe along the length of pole junction box to security light along with clamps nuts bolt washers complete incliding taking down old unsv ones all as specified and directed .

Supply and fixing GI tubing, light grade, 80mm bore for protection of cable under road crossing, across drain, along electric pole or floor /wall etc, incliding taking out existing pipe, complete all as specified and directed. Note for Item No. 11 : Excavation & Earthwork and/or boring/drilling for laying/passing of tubing under road etc shall be measured & paid for separately.

Boring (horizontally) using ultrasound technique and necessary machine for passing 80/40mm bore pipe for protection of the cable at approx 0.5 to 2 metre depth in soil below existing road, pavement, hard standing etc without damaging the existing surfaces, getting out & disposal of soil to a distance not exceeding 50 metre from the site of work, complete all as specified and directed. Note: Cost for provision of pipes & cable not included in the scope of above item.

Supply, providing and testing PVC Insulated, weather proof, FRLS, PVC sheathed cables with multistranded bright annealed copper conductor of size 1.5 Sqmm 3 core for connection of light fittings to pole light junction box, cable laid through including taking down old ones, complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repair, factory made (CPRI approved) weather proof, dust & vermin proof street light junction box of size 250(L) x 250 (B) x 150 (D) mm (minimum dimensions) made up of 3.15 mm thick CRCA sheet, powder coated after preparation of surfaces, comprising of 04 Nos aluminium bus-bar of size 20 x 4 mm mounted on suitable sized spacer insulators with provision of 01 No MCB, SP, 6 Amps, 10 KA breaking capacity, "C" curve & two openings at the bottom & one opening at the top with & including cable glands & fixing with the provision of suitable sized MS clamps to poles, also including testing, complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for rendering 15 mm thick in cement mortar (1:6) on fair faces of brick work or concrete surface finsihed even and smooth (without using extra cement) etc complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for rendering 5mm thick on concrete surfaces of ceiling of chajja etc in cement mortar (1:3) finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for rendering 15 mm thick in CM (1:4) on fair faces of brickwork or concrete surface finsihed even and smooth (without using extra cement) mixed with water proofing compound as per manufacture's instruction etc complete all as specified and as directed. M&L for preparing new plastered surface of walls with applying two coats wall care putty with priming chalk white and applying two coat of oil bond distemper white or any tint over a coat of primer etc complete as specified and directed

M&L for factory fabricated Hydraulically machine pressed cement concrete chequered tiles of size 300x300X25mm thick (with grey cement and pigment), set in neat cement slurry including provision of 15mm thick cement screed bedding layer in CM 1:4, tiles joints shall be grouted and immediately after grouting, the joints shall be pointed flush in separate process in CM 1:3 mixed with pigments to match the colour of the Tiles, complete all as specified and directed.

Cuttting / trimming of tree branches in close proximity to over head lines to maintain a clearance of 1.50 metres from the over head line to nearby trees, complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- Only effected Length of over head conductor (length of only one conductor for the effected area) shall be measured as per Running Meter for payment purpose .

M&L repairs to existing LT panel / bus bar chamber / feeder pillar box of size not less than of 1000 x 1000 x 500 mm by excavation of all loops and removing damaged UG cable, connecting new thimbles / lugs / cable glands and fixing of new neoprene rubber gasket to make it completely dust and vermin proof, fixing of new locking arragement and replacement of LT panel wiring with appropriate size of copper conductor, repairing of rusted parts of panel frame and shutter with necessary welding works including preparation and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint on both internal and external surface of panel, PCC (1:3:6) type C2 (using 40mm crushed stone aggregate) work in foundation complete all as specified and directed.

S & F in repairs Steel Tubular Poles complete with and including cast iron base plate, finial taper plug, bolts , nuts & screws, type 410 SP-31(09 Metre long), also including painting to the external exposed surfaces with 2 coats of aluminium paint over 1 coat of red oxide primer and with 2 coats of black bituminous paint over 1 coat of red oxide primer to the external exposed surfaces of steel poles embedded in the ground / concrete after preparation of the surfaces, numbering to the poles, complete in all respect as specified and as directed. Note:- Excavation & Earth Work, concrete for foundation and coping shall only be measured and paid for separately.

Material and labour for preparation of old rusted steel exposed surfaces of LT swaged poles of 9m length, cross arms, brackets etc mounted on poles, applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint upto 0.8 metre height as per the existing pattern above the P.C.C coping & one coat of aluminium paint beyond 0.8 metre height (for the remaining exposed surfaces) of the poles as well as on the exposed surfaces of cross arms, brackets etc mounted on the poles, re-writing pole numbers and cutting vegetation growth all around the poles upto 1 metre radius, including replacement of self adhesive fluorescent colour tape as per existing pattern and size, complete all as specified and directed.

S&F Hot Dipped Galvanised Wiremesh cable Tray with between 60 and 80 microns of zinc to BS 729 in accordance with standard EN ISO14 61, with all mounting accessories to fix at a height of 3 ft above GL . Cable tray shall be manufactured from steel wires, welded together and bent into final shape prior to surface treatment. Steel Wire Cable Tray should be produced from lateral and longitudinal sidewall steel wires, with minimum diameters between 3.9 mm to 5.9 mm for trays depending on the widths of the trays as per the design parameters. Trays should be manufactured with a longitudinal ‘T-welded’ safety edge along the top wire of the sidewall. Trays should be constructed with a 50mm x 100mm mesh configuration. Trays should be coupled together using fast spring coupler. The coupling will have the same surface finish as the tray. Loading and deflection characteristics of the tray should be tested and the results published in accordance with the European Standard IEC 61537 (10-2006). Fire test certification should be published in accordance with the E90 standard. Electrical continuity across a coupling should be demonstrated by means of a published test method and result. Wiremesh/mesh type/ basket type cable trays, supported at every 1.5 mtrs span should have minimum (149 Kg/mtr) uniform weight bearing capacity per meter, with depth of tray 105 mm and width 500 mm complete in compliance with IEC 61537 (10-2006), complete all as specified and directed.

Disconnecting of existing cable of size 95 sqmm to 400 sqmm from panel, taking out and rerouting the cable through cable tray complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for cement concrete (1:2:4) type B-1 (Using 20mm graded stone aggregates) for coping of pole etc including provison of necessary form work, complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repairs manual changeover switch I-O-II type operation 400 Amp rating 415 volt, with extended shaft and IP65 piston type handle, complete all as specified and directed.
