Repair to 250 mm dia M.S. rising main and reflux valve along with allied works at LIS Gailla

Repair to 250mm dia MS rising main laid at LIS Gailla at various spots along the alignment by way of cutting of rusted nuts and bolts, excavation of soil around the leakage points so as to easily access and plug the leakage. Chipping and cleaning of the rusted/damaged portion of rising main by suitable tools, then welding the joints by arc welding in two layers, properly and removing the flux in each successive layer to avoid any welding defect and then reinforcing the joints by covering the joint with MS strips across the joints if required including providing and welding of suitable MS pipe pieces with superior quality welding electrodes wherever required at the damaged spots across the entire length of the rising main. Providing, and welding of new M.S. flanges along with pipes, nuts and bolts, rubber sheet as per site requirement. After completion of the welding process cooling the pipe to atmospheric temperature and then testing the pipe on full load condition for any leakages. Refilling, leveling and finishing the excavated soil. Painting of exposed portion 250 mm dia rising main after removing of all the dirt/dust and foreign deposits on the rising main with the help of sand/emery paper, providing and applying one coat of red oxide primer and then two coats of black enamel paint on the exposed portion of rising main after proper testing of joints on rising main. Repair to 01 no 250 mm dia main reflux valve installed on 250mm dia rising main of LIS Gailla by way of unfastening of rusted/damaged studs/nuts and bolts, opening of bonnet cover, extraction of damaged disc assembly checking for any cracks, removing of foreign material deposited inside the body. Providing fabrication and fitting of complete disc assembly and then re-fitting of the bonnet cover by p/f of new rubber joint, studs, nuts and bolts as per site requirement. Providing/fitting of 3 pole 250 ampere MCCB of reputed make in place of old burnt MCCB along with new nuts and bolts, washers. The job includes cost of materials, cost of oxy-acetylene gas flame, labour charges for skilled/unskilled, transport charges, head load charges, hire charges of welding set and other tools and tackles required for the job inclusive of all taxes as applicable.
