Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) / manual means in foundation trenches or drains (not exceeding 1.5 m in width or 10 sqm on plan) including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms, lift up to 1.5 m, including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus excavated soil as directed, within a lead of 50 m.

All kinds of soil.

Filling available excavated earth (excluding rock) in trenches, plinth, sides of foundations etc. in layers not exceeding 20cm in depth, consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering, lead up to 50 m and lift upto 1.5 m.

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level :

1:5:10 (1 cement : 5 coarse sand : 10 graded stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size).

Providing and laying cement concrete in retaining walls, return walls, walls (any thickness) including attached pilasters, columns, piers, abutments, pillars, posts, struts, buttresses, string or lacing courses, parapets, coping, bed blocks, anchor blocks, plain window sills, fillets, sunken floor, etc., up to floor five level, excluding the cost of centering, shuttering and finishing :

1:2:4 (1 Cement : 2 coarse sand : 4 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size)

Providing and laying in position specified grade of reinforced cement concrete, excluding the cost of centering, shuttering, finishing and reinforcement - All work up to plinth level :

1:1.5:3 (1 cement : 1.5 coarse sand (zone-III) : 3 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size).

Reinforced cement concrete work in walls (any thickness), including attached pilasters, buttresses, plinth and string courses, fillets, columns, pillars, piers, abutments, posts and struts etc. up to floor five level, excluding cost of centering, shuttering, finishing and reinforcement :

1:1.5:3 (1 cement : 1.5 coarse sand : 3 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size)

Centering and shuttering including strutting, propping etc. and removal of form for :

Foundations, footings, bases of columns, etc. for mass concrete.

Columns, Pillars, Piers, Abutments, Posts and Struts

Small lintels not exceeding 1.5m clear span, moulding as in cornices, window sills, string courses, bands, copings, bed plates, anchor blocks and the like.

Steel reinforcement for R.C.C. work including straightening, cutting, bending, placing in position and binding all complete upto and above plinth level.

Thermo-Mechanically Treated bars.

Smooth finishing of the exposed surface of R.C.C. work with 6 mm thick cement mortar 1:3 (1 Cement : 3 fine sand).

Brick work with common burnt clay F.P.S. (non modular) old bricks of class designation 7.5 in foundation and plinth in:

Cement mortar 1:6 (1 cement : 6 coarse sand) (Note: Old bricks shall be supplied by the deptt free of cost).

Steel work welded in built up sections/ framed work, including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of approved steel primer using structural steel etc. as required.

In gratings, frames, guard bar, ladder, railings, brackets, gates and similar works.

12 mm cement plaster of mix :

1:6 (1 cement: 6 fine sand)

15 mm cement plaster on the rough side of single or half brick wall of mix :

1:6 (1 cement: 6 fine sand)

Finishing walls with water proofing cement paint of required shade :

New work (Two or more coats applied @ 3.84 kg/10 sqm).

Painting with synthetic enamel paint of approved brand and manufacture of required colour to give an even shade :

One or more coats on old work.

Demolishing cement concrete manually/ by mechanical means including disposal of material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer - in - charge.

Nominal concrete 1:3:6 or richer mix (i/c equivalent design mix)

Demolishing R.C.C. work manually/ by mechanical means including stacking of steel bars and disposal of unserviceable material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer - in- charge.

Demolishing brick work manually/ by mechanical means including stacking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer-in-charge..

In cement mortar

Removing mortar from bricks and cleaning bricks including stacking within a lead of 50 m (stacks of cleaned bricks shall be measured):

From brick work in cement mortar

Dismantling steel work in built up sections in angles, tees, flats and channels including all gusset plates, bolts, nuts, cutting rivets, welding etc. including dismembering and stacking within 50 metres lead.

Dismantling tile work in floors and roofs laid in cement mortar including stacking material within 50 metres lead.

For thickness of tiles 10 mm to 25 mm

Dismantling roofing including ridges, hips, valleys and gutters etc., and stacking the material within 50 metres lead of:

Asbestos sheet / Fibre sheet

Dismantling and stacking within 50 metres lead, fencing posts or struts including all earth work and dismantling of concrete etc. in base of:

‘L’ iron

Dismantling barbed wire or flexible wire rope in fencing including making rolls and stacking within 50 metres lead.

Disposal of building rubbish / malba / similar unserviceable, dismantled or waste materials by mechanical means including loading, transporting, unloading to approved municipal dumping ground or as approved by Engineer-in-charge, beyond 50 m initial lead, for all loads including all lifts involved.

Fencing with angle iron post placed at required distance embedded in cement concrete blocks, every 15th post, last but one end post and corner post shall be strutted on both sides and end post on one side only and provided with horizontal lines and two diagonals interwoven with horizontal wires, of old availble barbed wire, between the two posts fitted and fixed with G.I. staples, turn buckles etc. complete. (Cost of posts, struts, earth work and concrete work to be paid for separately) :-Payment to be made per metre cost of total length of barbed wire used.

With Old G.I. barbed wire (Note: Old barbed wire shall be supplied by deptt free of cost).

Cement concrete 1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand : 4 graded stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size) in pavements, laid to required slope and camber in panels as required including consolidation finishing and tamping complete.

Repairing and refixing the MS gate in RCC Columns of Compound wall i/c fixing new hold fasts, pivot etc for smooth operation of gates and in true line & level all complete as per direction of Engineer In Charge. (Note: Any new material like MS angle, MS bar, MS sheet etc to be fixed in repair of gates shall be paid for extra).

Main Gates of size 4.50 M X 2.00 M appx.

Wicket Gate of size 1.20 M X 2.00 M appx.

Cutting of MS angle iron Posts of appx length 3.00m in two pieces of required length with welding set etc and stacking the material all complete as per direction of E.I.C.

Credit of old unserviceable material obtained from dismantling/demolishing :

Old rusted unserviceable C.I./SCI Pipes and fittings/Mild steel sections/G.I. etc.
