Taking down carefully unserviiceable copper/aluminium point wiring (light, fan, socket or power) complete, (fittings such as switches, ceiling roses, pendants, regulators sockets etc. to be measured separately), removing materials to store for keeping in safe custody for reuse at site and making good disturbed surfaces of walls, floors, etc.

Taking down carefully by unscrewing from boards/ outlet boxes, fittings and fixtures such as switches, sockets, ceiling roses, lamp holders, brackets, ceiling fittings, bulk head fittings, tube light fittings and regulators, etc. for reuse at site or carrying to the store (To be measured only when found serviceable in all respects complete for reuse).

Material and Labour for point wiring using approved colour coding as per IS ,with multistranded copper conductor 1.5 Sqmm (nominal area), two single core, PVC insulated and unsheathed FRLS cable 1100 Volts grade ISI-694 marked drawn through in and including heavy duty, PVC concealed conduit with all fittings, accessories, PVC junction boxes etc. with and including concealed GI metal boxes 1.2 mm thick,(18 Guage) 50mm deep, with earth dolly, covered with modular white cover plate & frame of suitable module for mounting switches, sockets, regulators etc and also including PVC insulated multistranded copper conductor 1.5 Sqmm (nominal area) single core FRLS cable as earth continuity conductor along with wiring and connecting to earth dolly all as specified and as directed for One light point/ exhaust fan point controlled by one, one way switch 6 Amps complete all as specified and as directed.

Labour for taking down of unserviceable ceiling fan of any sweep and make after disconnecting cable end terninal from ceiling rose, dismantling blades and hanging serviceable fan at same location of any sweep, make by connecting cable end terminal to ceiling rose, after fixing blades at site with fan, testing for smooth running complete all as specified and as directed. Note : Transportation to & fro involved of unserviceable ceiling fan to deposit in EM Store yard Powai and back to site hanging serviceable fan after collecting from store is deemed to be included with unit rate.

Servicing / over hauling of ceiling fan 230 Volts of any make and sweep, along with following others repairs. a). Dismantaling of ceiling fan complete part by part carefully, testing stator coils, degreasing bearing and display all the parts without damaging any portion for inspection of Engineer-in- Charge to ascertain the serviceability of existing parts b) Heating & varnishing to stator coils with super quality varnish and dried out properely with external heat as ordered & directed. c) Reassembeling of ceiling fan complete with all existing serviceable parts obtained against Item 1 (a), and new parts as required / ordered by Engineer in Charge. Note (i). Any Parts required for replacement shall be measured and paid seperately under appropriate item as ''Supply only'' (s) of this schedule. However labour element involved in replacement is included in unit rate quoated against this Item. (ii).Any unforeseen minor repair and minor parts that are not covered under Item No-86 , (a) to (c) (Total cost less than Rs 100 ) but required to complete the repair work / smooth functioning of fan shall be deemed to be included with the unit rate. (iii) Transportation of fan to workshop for repair and back to site in E/M store yard at Bhandup is deemed to be included with unit rate. (iii). Rewinding of stator coils of ceiling fan , where involved shall be measured and paid separetely against relevant item of this schedule. (iv) 3 core PVC insulated and sheathed 0.75 Sqmm cable from ceiling rose to fan connector of adequate length (maximum upto 1 Mtr) and (greasing the bearing with ball bearing grease where involved) shall deemed to be included in the unit rate.

S & F Ceiling fan down rods cut to required length as per site requirement of 15 mm dia GI pipe (medium grade) to the existing trusses of any height including necessary welding, drilling holes complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply only gun metal bush suitable for ceiling fan of any sweep complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only shackle clip assembly with rubber bush reel and nuts, bolts and washers suitable for ceiling fan of any sweep complete all as specified and directed.

Material and Labour for Radium Retro Reflective Vinyl Sticker, (Thickness 0.4mm,) water proof, wear resistant back with sticker, Resistant to fading, cracking, and peeling, colour as directed by Engnr-in- Charge, (for MES Property Inenfification) Numbering Fan any type, cut to customizable size font - Height not less than 20 mm and width not less than 15 mm with letters as - GE(NW) / E&M / CF /BLDG No/ QTR No/MES- 001 / complete all as specified and as directed. Note- Ser No i.e 001 will change on each ceiling fan as directed by Engnr-in- Charge.

Taking down and opening / dismantling of exhaust/ ventilation fan, 200/250/300 mm sweep and taking out old unserviceable winding and M & L for rewinding the same with super enameled copper wire of existing/same gauge including all insulating material required as per standard practice, varnishing the same and drying, cleaning the fan bearing/bushing and greasing/oiling and reassembling, testing complete including spy painting with one coats of synthetic enamel paint after preparing rusted surface and re-fixing, testing and commissioning complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note : Spare parts like capacitor, bush and bearing will be measured and paid separately under respective items.

Note 5: While Quoting the tender contractor must keep in mind that the fitting and fixtures will be fixed as per day to day complaint recieved from various locations i.e NCHC Powai, NCHC Ulhasnagar and 23 A Mhada Powai and the contractor must engage the adequate labour to resolve complaints within given time frame (except Govt holidays and rainy days) after receiving of complaint without any extra cost to govt or as directed by Engineer-in-charge. And, if the contracor/ deputed supervisor fails to rectify the complaint within the stipulated time frame a penalty of Rs 50/- per complaint will be deducted from the contratcor part as per the priority i.e. Priority-I for 24 hrs, Priority- II for 72 hrs and Priority- III for 07 days of a given complaint.
