Continuous assistance in dust suppression by spraying water on roads through mobile water tankers of 12000 litres capacity. Note: (i) These jobs are to be carried out by the contractor as per instructions of the Colliery Manager or Engineer-in-charge or representative(s) of any of them. (ii) The contractor is required to carry out the work in two shifts. First shift shall be 06:00 AM to 02:00 PM and second shift shall be from 02:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The work is not to be carried out when it is raining. Water shall be made available by WCL at designated filling point(s). The tankers must be full at the beginning of each trip and empty at the end of each trip. Record of route-wise trips executed shall be maintained at RC Office. Measurement shall be the route-wise actual number of trips executed. (iii) The contractor is required to deploy water tankers of 12000 litres capacity with arrangement of spraying water on roads. Each tanker must have all the necessary documents such as valid registration certificate, insurance certificate, PUC certificate, etc. These documents must be available at all times with the tanker and the contractor shall also be required to submit copies of these documents before deployment of any tanker. Additionally, each tanker must have all the required safety arrangements in working conditions, such as brakes, front lights, back lights, retro-reflective stickers, etc. The contractor has to keep the tankers well-maintained. For this purpose, two days per month shall be allowed to carry out maintenance work, with prior permission of the department (different days for different tankers). All the costs such as cost of operators, fuel, oil, repair/ maintenance, insurance, etc. are to be borne by the contractor. (iv) The contractor is required to deploy two operators daily (in two shifts) for each tanker. Each operator must carry his valid driver's licence. Providing rest days/ holidays/ leaves to them is the responsibility of the contractor and the contractor is also required to deploy suitable relievers/ substitutes. Daily attendance shall be maintained at RC Office or as directed from time-to-time.
On roads within Mine premises from Coal stock yard to Penganga Check post, lead upto 2.00 km, @ 13 trips per day.
On road from Mungoli Check post No.01 to Penganga Check post, lead upto 3.00km, @ 6 trips per shift, i.e. 12 trips per day.
Assistance in day-to-day cleaning of surface of roads & maintenance of road-side berms for removal of stagnant water on roads & their sides, through manual means. The job includes: (A) Day-to-day cleaning of surface of roads by removal of dust, mud, or other such unwanted materials on surface of roads; (B) Day-to-day cutting of drains on road-side berms for removal of stagnant water on roads & their sides, as & when required; (C) Day-to-day filling of these points of stagnant water on roads, as & when required; and (D) Other allied jobs. Note: (i) All the above jobs are to be carried out by the contractor as per instructions of the Engineer-in-charge or Mine management, or their representative(s). (ii) The contractor is required to deploy 3 workers daily for this job, in general shift. Providing rest days/ holidays/ leaves to the workers is the responsibility of the contractor and the contractor is also required to deploy suitable relievers/ substitutes for the job. (iii) Daily attendance shall be maintained at RC Office or as directed from time-to-time. Each worker is required to carry an ID card of some government authority (aadhaar card, voter's card, driver's licence, PAN card, etc.) In measurement, number of days shall be calculated as total number of manshifts (as per actual attendance) divided by 3. (iv) Each worker must be equipped with the tools/ equipment required for the job, such as broom, gaiti, phawda, ghamela, etc.; and safety accessories (including gum-boots, helmets, fluorescent jackets, face masks, & hand gloves). Moreover, they also have to be equipped with raincoats, depending upon season and weather conditions. All these tools/ equipment/ consumables and accessories are to be provided by the contractor. (v) Water shall be made available by WCL without any cost to be charged from the contractor.
Excavation in Soil using Hydraulic Excavator and Tippers with disposal upto 1000 metres: Excavation for roadwork in soil with hydraulic excavator including cutting and loading in tippers, trimming bottom and side slopes, in accordance with requirements of lines, grades and cross sections, and transporting to the embankment location with all lifts and lead upto 1000m as per relevent clauses of section-300 of specification.
