Fixing of rate contract for repairs/ replacement to Motors installed at different WSSs of PHE Mechanical Sub-Division SHOPIAN (District Pulwama and Shopian) for last quarter of the financial year 2025-26.

Repairs to borewell submersible motor by way of decoupling of damaged 3-phase 2900rpm submersible motor from the pump motor assembly at site. Shifting the decoupled motor from site to the workshop in a private load carrier arranged by the firm. At workshop the motor dismantled by way of opening all nuts, bolts, cover plates etc. and the damaged/burnt out windings extracted from all stator slots by special tools & tackles, skilled manpower. After extraction of the windings from the stator the same shall be rewound by using PVC insulated Cu-wire of proper gauge and specification and inserted back in the stator slots of the motor as per actual pitch and turns. The job includes insulation of the windings by proper insulating material, tape etc. and assembling back of rotor, stator, cover plates, all nuts and bolts of the motor. The repaired motor shall then be shifted back to site from workshop in a private load carrier arranged by the firm and at site the motor shall be recoupled with the pump. All power connections shall be reconnected with the motor. Note: The old copper shall be retained by the firm & shall quote the rates with rebate on account of old copper scrap.

Repairs to openwell submersible motor by way of decoupling of damaged 3-phase openwell submersible motor from the pump motor assembly at site. Shifting the decoupled motor from site to the workshop in a private load carrier to be arranged by the firm . At workshop the motor shall be dismantled by way of opening all nuts, bolts, cover plates etc and the damaged/burnt out windings shall be extracted from all stator slots by special tools & tackles, skilled manpower. After extraction of the windings from the stator the same shall be rewound by using PVC insulated Cu-wire of proper gauge and specification and as per actual pitch and turns. The job includes insulation of the windings by proper insulating material, tape etc and assembling back of rotor, stator, cover plates, all nuts and bolts of the motor. The repaired motor shall be shifted back to site from workshop in a pvt. load carrier to be arranged by the firm and at site the motor shall be recoupled with the pump. All power connections shall be reconnected with the motor and pump motor asssembly shall be lowered back into the sump etc by refitting each of the column pipe one by one , tightening all the nuts and bolts & inserting the new RI cloth in between the flanges whereever required. After complete lowering the unit shall be tested on full load. Note: The old copper shall be retained by the firm & shall quote the rates with rebate on account of old copper scrap.

Repairs to 1440rpm Horizontal motor by way of decoupling of damaged 3-phase motor from the pump motor assembly at site. Shifting the decoupled motor from site to the workshop in a private load carrier to be arranged by the firm . Extraction of submersible pump/motor set along with column pipes from the well by hoisting with tripod and chain pulley block and by using tools and tackles required for extraction of pump set and uncoupling the pump and motor

Assembling of submersible pump/ motor set and lowering along with column pipes in the well by chain pulley block, tripod, tools and tackles and testing on full load at site.

Providing, inserting & fixing/tightening of new bronze bushes in the lower and upper manifolds of the openwell submersible motor in place of damaged bushes by way of first extracting the old damaged bushes from the manifolds by means of tools and tackles, skilled technical manpower, making the inner surfaces of the manifolds smooth having high precision and accuracy by machining on lathe.The job shall include casting, fabrication, machining & finishing of the new bronze bushes, before being fixed into the manifolds.
