M&L for preparation of newely plaster surfaces of ceiling and applying three coats of white wash complete all as specified.

M & L for preparing existing treated surfaces on ceiling including cornices and applying two coat of white wash by making the lime slaked at site and shall be mixed and stirred with about five liters of water for 1 kg of unslaked lime to make a thin cream. This shall be allowed to stand for a period of 24 hours and shall then be screened through clean coarse cloth. 1 kg of gum dissolved in hot water shall be added to every one cubic meter of lime cream. About 1.3 Kg of sodium chloride dissolved in hot water shall also be added for every 10 kg of lime for making the coating hard and rub-resistant. Small quantity of ultramarine blue (upto 3 gm per kg of lime) shall also be added to the of white wash solution and the whole solution shall be stirred thoroughly before use complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M & L for preparation of new surfaces of external walls/RCC surfaces/soffits of chajjas/roof projections/cantilevers/balcony etc including cornices and applying two coat of cement base paint @ 5 sq.m/kg/1 coat by using following brands of cement based paint by roller complete all as specified & as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Make of Cement Paint : Snowcem Plus (Snowcem Paints)

M&L 50 mm thick PCC 1:3:6 type B1 (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate) lincluding finishing the surface even and smooth without using extra cement, as in plith protection, complete all as specifed.

M& L Point wiring complete with 1.5 sqmm (nominal area) PVC insulated PVC unsheathed multistranded copper condutor single core cable 1100 volts grade, FRLSH, ISI marked drawn through and including heavy duty non metalic PVC conduit, ISI marked, not less than 20 mm dia of thickness 1.8 mm concealed in wall, roof, etc, with all connected fittings including pressed steel terminal boxes suitable for mounting modular switches, sockets etc and including PVC insulated and unsheathed multistranded single core copper conductor cable of size 1.5 sq mm green in colour as in earth continuity conductor connected to common earth dolly and all metal parts of fittings as specified and directed for the following:- Note:- Switches , sockets, ceiling rose, regulators etc shall be measured and paid separately.
