Field water Supply scheme. The following stores for each set to be used :- (a) Electric Motor. Motor can withstand wide fluctuations from 180 – 240 volts. Capable of priming up to 3 meters static suction lift with out foot valve, at rated head and discharge (IS 8472:1998) fitted with thermal overload protector (top) to prevent motor burning out high quality aluminum extruded motor body with chrome plated shaft totally enclosed fan cooled (tech)-no entry of dust or moisture capacitor start and run motor with IP-44 protection ‘b’ class of insulation. Both side ball bearings are doubled shielded-no need of external lubrication throughout life. Useful to boost water supply for any purpose. (i) Details of Motor. The details of motor are as under :- (aa) Make - Kirloskar/Jindal/Havells (ab) Colour - Multicolour (ac) Material - Metal (ad) Dimension - 26 x 28 x 26 cm (L x W x H) (ae) Weight - 8 to 10 Kgs (ii) Specification. (aa) Head - 6 to 41 Mtrs (ab) Capacity - 2160 to 450 lph (ac) Power rating - 0.75 kw, 1 HP (ad) Voltage range - 180 to 240 V Note :- Technical Specification as per RFP at Part II.

(b) Plumbing. Water connection with HDPE pipe 20 mm dia confirming to IS specifications shall be provided. The following items will also be required for each installation with ISI mark :- (i) HDPE Pipe 20 mm dia - 40 RM (ii) HDPE Bend 20 mm - 05 Nos (iii) HDPE Tee 20 mm - 05 Nos (iv) HDPE End cap 20 mm - 05 Nos (v) HDPE caller flange 20 mm - 05 Nos (vi) PVC Foot valve 20 to 25 mm with PVC suction pipe having length 3 to 5 mtr - 01 No (c) Elect Connection. The following items of ISI mark are required for electric connection of each motor : (i) 16 Amps MCB DP with box - 01 No (ii) 1.5 Sqmm copper wire - 50 RM (iii) 15 Amp switch socket combination with PVC board - 01 No

(d) Warranty : Warranty period for electric motors will be 18 months. Contractor is fully responsible for repair/replace during the warranty period if any defect occurred.

Note : (a) Vendors should not quote 0 (Zero) Value in BoQ if not willing to quote for a particular Item. (b) Quantity may vary at th time of placement of supply order. (c) Vendor must quote as per BoQ (i.e Per unit cost include taxes & takes to be paid separately. (d) Exact amt of taxes to be paid to Government as per notification is solely the responsibility of vendors.
