SPECIAL REPAIR REPLACEMENT OF BER LIFT INSTALLED IN NCC DTE BUILDING PATNA UNDER GE DANAPUR

PHASE - 1 (SCHEDULE 'A' PART-I) Taking out unserviceable Passenger Elevator (Lift) of any size from the existing location and make the area good and deposited to MES store yard Danapur.

Supply, installation, testing & commissoning Passengers Elevator (lift), speed 1 metre/sec, lift with single speed motor 415 volts, 3 phase, AC 50 Hz supply conforming to IS-14665, suitable to carry 08 passengers (544 Kgs) and serve upto G + 4 Upper floors having SS car enclosure with AC Variable Voltage & Variable Frequency drive (VVVF drive) complete with all standard accessories, simplex automatic & manual dual controlled operation with/without attendant, centre opening doors with door drive (electric motor driven mechanism), sliding stainless steel doors,automatic rescue device (ARD) system, 3D infra red sensor in full height of door & built in announcing system without hand set (03 Nos, one each in car, Machine room & near Ground floor landing door) incliding two years AMC as per OEM specifications ( i.e. AMC during the defect & liability period ) including necessary periodical safety checking (Monthly inspection and testing of OEM rep) and testing of lift as mentioned in relevant code of practice / IS for the safe and efficient performance of lifts complete in the existing shaft including all associated civil works all as specified and as directed with following specifications and Data sheet as as Appendix 'A' :-

Note :- (i) Front facia granite work shall be measured and paid seperately. (ii). On issue of work order, the contractor shall visit the site and take the complete measurement of site and prepare the drawings for approval of Garrison Engineer. Drawings should comply all the relevant data as specified in the data sheet as specified in Appendix 'A' . The GE is the competent authority for approval of the drawings.

(i) Speed:1MPS (ii) Floors:Ground + 4 floors (iii). Travel: 15 Meters (approx.) (iv). Stops & opening: 5 Stops, 5 opening same side (v). Available size of lift well - 1960mm (w) x 1680 mm (Approx.) (vi). Controller: Variable Voltage Variable Frequency Drive with Microprocessor based simplex full collective Control.

(vii). Power - 415V + 5%, 3phase , 50Hz (viii). Type of doors as per NBC - 2016 (a). Car: Clear inside size of lift car- 1.43 Sq.Mtrs (nominal) with Power operated centre opening horizontal sliding stainless steel finish combination as per technical specification (b). Landing doors: Power operated centre opening horizontal sliding stainless steel finish combination as per technical specifications (c). A SS hand rail not less than 600mm long at 900mm above floor level to be fixed on all three sides in the lift car .

(d). Automatic Rescue Device complete with dry Maintenance free batteries, Overload warning indicator, Pit Ladder, Battery operated emergency light and alarm bell, Infra-red door screen, Mirror, Firemen Switch etc., Internal car lighting should provide minimum level of illumination of 150 lux level at floor level, uniformly distributed, and avoiding the spot lights with LED light fitting and suitable size Fan inside the car etc as per specifications and data sheet.

Voice announcement system in the car alongwith a visual display to indicate the floor level to announce the position of the elevator in the hoist way as the car passes or stops at a floor served by the elevator and Lift in Use / Out of Order Sign,as per technical specification / data sheet

Civil work : Necessary Civil work such as making good disturbed surfaces, modification to landing space to suit car size, necessary foundation for machine etc and one coat of white wash shall be applied on the lift shaft after completion of lift installation and cost of the same shall deemed to be included in the quoted rates. Note :- (i) Tenderer are advice to inspect the site before quoting the rates. (ii). AMC agreement with OEM will be submitted after completion of work.

M&L earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 600x600x6 mm thick, burried directly in to ground ( earth pit) not less than 2.25 metres deep below GL with top edge of earth plate ot less athn 1.50 m below ground level surrounded with adequate quantity of charcoal dust mixed with salt to a packed thickness of 15 cm all around the plate, connected to main earth lead 32x6mm galvanised iron strip (7.50 m Long) by means of nuts, bolts and washers, checknuts of GI and protected by the GI pipe light grade 40 mm nominal bore(7.5 m long) for earth lead strip and watering pipe light grade of 20 mm nominal bore, 0.63 mm thick G I sheet funnel , wiremesh, earthing test point etc complete including necessary earth work and excavation in any type of soil , PCC 1:2:4 type B1 earth pit and Precast RCC cover 75 mm thick duly reinforced with 8 mm dia. MS TMTbars @ 100mm C/C both ways,with 10mm dia MS round bar as in lifting handles, excavation, earth work including laying the GI pipe concealed in floor/wall all as described in electric plate of SSR Part I complete all as specified and directed and testing on completion. Note :- If the desired earth resistance is not found, earthing shall be redone by the contractor at no extra cost to the department.

M & L for Galvanised iron strip 32x6 mm fixed with existing earth conductor or extesion of earthing and down conductor above the ground level, with necessary fixing arrangments on wall / floor complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, erection, testing and commissioning Indoor type LT panel ( CPRI approved), platform mounted, suitable for 3 phase 4 wire, 500 volts AC supply and type tested at CPRI, fabricated in factory having modern fabrication and testing facility which includes seven (07) tanks pre treatment facility comprising of de-greasing, rinsing, de-rusting, rinsing, phosphating, rinsing and passivation followed by powder coated painting (thickness not less than 80 Micron) with approved shade of RAL 7032. The panel shall be provided with suitable Neoprene rubber gasket to make it completely dust and vermin proof and degree of protection not less than IP-55 and general construction conforming to IS : 13947. made out of 2.00mm thick CRCA mild steel sheet and 2.00 mm thick gland plate duly compartmentalized for each control gear and bus-bar, front and rear door opening facility. The panel shall be provided with ventilation facility in the form of louvers for better heat dissipation. The panel shall be comprising of the followings.

INCOMMING

(a) Copper strip busbar of 200 amps rated capaacity wrapped with PVC sleeves with maintained the colour code and provision of making holes with Copper nuts, bolts & washers for cable connections including hydrograpic insulators with nuts & bolts at both ends = 04 Nos.

(b) MCCB, Microprocessor release type, 4 poles, 415 Volts, Lcu = 25 KA breaking capacity, rating 100 Amps including all fixing accessories with both ends spreader links - 01 No.

(c) LED Neon indicator lamp (RYB) with holder and fuse holder 230/250 volts,AC -01 set (set of three) Make :- Legrand/L&T/Schneider.

OUTGOING

(a) MCCB, adjustable thermal magnetic release type, 4 poles, 415 Volts, Ics = 100% Icu, 25 KA breaking capacity, rating 63 Amps including all fixing accessories with both ends spreader links -02 Nos

(b) Supply and fixing MCB SPN 32 amps 10 KA, C-series including connection complete all as specified and directed.- 02 Nos

(e) Enamelled iron danger notice plate of 1.60 mm thick mild steel sheet of size 200 mm X 150mm , white with letters , figures and conventional skull and bones in signal red and fixed with nuts and bolts on door / shutter of JB for LT -01 No.

Supply, laying, jointing & testing in trenches or passing through pipe, 1100 volts grade, XLPE insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanized steel strip or wire armoured LT electric power under ground cables, heavy duty with aluminium conductor of cross sectional area 70 sqmm 3.5 core with all fixing & connecting accessories such as Alluminium cable lugs, cable gland, nut, bolts, washer etc complete as specified and as directed. (NOTE: Earthwork & Excavation, GI pipe brick protection etc shall be measured and paid separately under relevant items of this schedule ).

Excavation in trenches in soft/loose soil not exc. 1.5 metre wide and not exc. 1.5 metre in depth and getting out for taking up / laying under ground electric cable including taking out old bricks from trenches and separating serviceable bricks and set aside for reuse complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading levelling watering and well rammming in layers not exceeding 25 cms in depth complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 mtr and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.5 mtr above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and lay dry river sand filling for under ground cable protection with a layer of 8cm deep before laying and 15cm covering above the top edge of cable after laying complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- Punned thickness 18cm shall only be considered for payment

Supply and laying sub class B bricks of size 25cmx15cmx7.5cm for protection of UG cable with width equal to length of bricks as mechanical protection laid dry and flat complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing of GI tubing, light grade, 80 mm bore with all fitting lais in trenches / pole / wall for protection of cables in repairs complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of cement concrete ( unreinforced ) in ground floors and pavings not exceeding 15 cm thick above or below ground level including all type of tiling, marble chips, terrazo finish wherever existing complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down cement plaster on brick / concrete walls, including racking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water etc complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L Plain cement concrete type B1 (1:2:4), using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate, 25 mm thick , as as in sub base/ base/ subfloor and finished rough to receive tiles complete all as specified.

M&L for machine cut black granite stone slab 20 mm thick, table rubbed and polished, laid over 20mm thck screed bed in CM (1:3) in decorative shelves, steps, pillars, jambs, cooking platform etc with chamfering on edge and jointing with using araldite adhesive, back surface of slab shall be groove cut in length and rough finished with using araldite adhesive and sand to bonding with the backing coat including pointing in white cement with pigments to match with shade of granite including grinding and polishing with wax polish complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for machine cut black granite stone slab 20 mm thick, table rubbed and polished for wall lining (veneering to wall), laid over 12mm thck rendering in CM (1:3) and pointing with white cement (1:2) using marble dust with admixture of pigments to match with shade of granite including grinding and polishing with wax polish complete all as specified and directed.

PHASE-II (schedule "A Part-II) : Comprehensive maintaenance of Passenger Lift as Provided under This Contract as per Serial Item No 02 of this BoQ/Schedule "A" Part -I for Three Years After Successful Completion of Defect Liability Period of Work covered under Phase-I M & L for Comprehensive Maintanence of Eletrically Operated Passenger (544 KGs) Capacity, serving G+4 Floors, all as specified under Serial No 02 of BoQ/Schedule "A" part-1 including repairs / replacement of defective and unserveable parts during maintanance period, attending to breakdown as and when intimated incl necessary periodical safety checking and testing of lift (Monthly inspection and testing by OEM rep). as mentioned in relevent code of practices/IS for the safe and efficient performance of lifts complete for First year after expiry of Defects Liability Period complete and all as sepcified in Particular Specification and as directed by Engineer -in-Charge.

M & L for Comprehensive Maintanence of Eletrically Operated Passenger (544 KGs) Capacity, serving G+4 Floors, all as specified under Serial No 02 of BoQ/Schedule "A" part-1 including repairs / replacement of defective and unserveable parts during maintanance period, attending to breakdown as and when intimated incl necessary periodical safety checking and testing of lift (Monthly inspection and testing by OEM rep). as mentioned in relevent code of practices/IS for the safe and efficient performance of lifts complete for Second year after expiry of Defects Liability Period complete and all as sepcified in Particular Specification and as directed by Engineer -in-Charge.

M & L for Comprehensive Maintanence of Eletrically Operated Passenger (544 KGs) Capacity, serving G+4 Floors, all as specified under Serial No 02 of BoQ/Schedule "A" part-1 including repairs / replacement of defective and unserveable parts during maintanance period, attending to breakdown as and when intimated incl necessary periodical safety checking and testing of lift (Monthly inspection and testing by OEM rep). as mentioned in relevent code of practices/IS for the safe and efficient performance of lifts complete for Third year after expiry of Defects Liability Period complete and all as sepcified in Particular Specification and as directed by Engineer -in-Charge.

Note for Serial item No 18, 19 & 20: (a) The rate quaoted is deemed to be inclusive of supply and fixing of all major and minor spares mechnical / Electrical / Electronic / LED lights etc. as and when required for trouble free and smooth operation of lifts also including overhauling as and when required to all mechnical parts of lifts. Rewinding of Electric Motors, repair/maint of Gear Unit, repair/ maint of Door drive, Controllers, pulleys, Limit Switches , Relays etc. Complete all as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. All the safety measures including ARDs shall be ensured for serviceable condition round the clock and cost of their spares, batteries etc. shall deemed to be inculded in the rate quoted. Nothing extra shall be paid extra on these accounts. (b) Defective batteries found in comprehensive maint shall be replaced by the contractor without any extra any extra cost to department.

(e) The rate quoted shall be deemed to be inclusive of testing of each lift by Licensed Lift Inspector of Government of Bihar once in Contract Period for worthiness of the Lift in respect of safety. Certificate issued by the Licensed lift Inspector shall be submitted to the Engineer-in Charge and a copy of Certificate shall be displayed in the Lift Cabins as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (f) Emergency Light and necessary tools shall be available in a tool box in the lift for smooth functioning of lifts. (g) Conveyance and communication system like mobile phone etc. shall be provided by the contractor to all lift mechanics and Helpers. (h) The contractor shall abide by the latest Labour Rules and Minimum Wages Act.

(i) Wages paid by the contractor to the persons employed shall not be less than minimum wages fixed by State / Central Government from time to time whichever is higher. The contracotr shall also ensure the workmen employed on the job. (j) The contractor is responsible for Insurance , EPF, ESI, Gratuity , Bonus, Labour Welfare Cess etc, as applicable and shall be paid to the Workmen as per existing labour Rules/ Acts / Regulations and rate quoted shall be deemed to be inculded for the same.

(k) INSURANCE : The contractor shall be responsible for all Accidents / injuries happining to the workmen. Any accident causing Minor / Fatel injury. partial Disability due to any untoward incident or non-adherence to Safety and IE Regulations or fault in maintaining of Lifts System or on account of any circumstances beyond his/ thier control, the contracotr shall be soley responsible for setting all claims of compensation to the deceased, failing which department will have a right to recover any sum indicated / claimed by labour Commissioner / Court authorities . No claim whatsoever will be entertained in this regard. No compensation is payble by the department on this account. Contractor shall provide first aid boxes to meet any emergency situations.

(l) The contractor shall carryout the comprehensive maint of the lifts catered under subject work through the Original Equipment Manufacturer to that lift or from thier accredited / authorised agencies only. The lowest bidder shall submit MoU from the Original Equipment Manufacturer of the Lift or from thier accredited / authorised agencies to provide technical support, trained persons for maint & testing and spares before commencement of the work to GE. The spares shall be of the make as per ecxisting or as per the OEM.
