Attending watch and ward duty at departmental building / jetty at eastern side / western side or other places of yard, day to day maintenance works such as repair and maintenance of electrical and plumbing installations provided in the Katchery Jetty, Eastern side Jetty, Passenger Hall, P.A. Office arranging day to day running and maintenance of departmental electrically operated machineries / Crane, minor maintenance works as when required to residential and Non residential building & jetties, (Repairs to wearing coat, handrails, painting to bollard / crane, buoy etc.,) carpentry works, daily sweeping and cleaning of office, Passenger hall, PA's office, Work shop and jetties, providing operator for crane for all works, all assistance to port staff for providing gangway while berthing of ships at eastern side as directed by the Engineer-In-Charge including cost of all labour charges etc., complete.

Attending day to day maintenance works such as repair and maintenance of electrical and plumping installations provided in the departmental residential Buildings, Office Buildings, Work Shop, Katchery Jetty, Eastern side Jetty, Passenger Hall, P.A. Office, Port Control Tower etc. Arranging day to day running and maintenance of departmental electrically operated machineries / Crane etc; as directed by the Engineering-In-Charge including cost of all labour charge but excluding cost of materials, minor tools etc. complete

Attending day to day minor maintenance works as when required to residential and Non residential building & jetties, (Repairs to wearing coat, handrails, painting to bollard / crane, buoy etc.,) carpentry works etc as directed by the Engineering-In-Charge including cost of all labour charge but excluding cost of materials, minor tools etc. complete.

Attending daily sweeping and cleaning of office, Work shop, Passenger hall, PA's office, PCT and jetties etc complete as per the direction of Engineer In Charge.

Providing operater for crane for all works , all assistance to port staff for providing gangway while berthing of ships at eastern side, etc., complete and when required for smooth berthing of a ship / vessels etc.
