M & L for taking down Street/ Perimeter light fittings of any descriptions from any height after disconnecting electric connections and opening cover and checking of light fittings for serviceability and repaired as required and re-fixing the light fittings in existing position after repair and providing connections including replacement of defective/ unserviceable spares/ parts etc as required to make the fittings in smooth serviceable condition and testing complete all as specified and as directed. (Note: (i) Replacement of unserviceable parts shall be measured and paid seperately as "supply only" (ii) Replacement of minor spares/ parts such as nuts, bolts & washer, worn out cables as per existing size etc shall deemed to be included in the unit quoted rate)

Excavating in trenches not exc. 1.5 metre wide and exc. 1.5 metre & not exc. 3 metre depth (beyond the first 1.5 metre) for foundation of poles etc and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm as in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed

Removing excavated material not exc. 50 m and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for boring of horizontally holes by manual method under road and dia of hole not exc 100mm without damaging the exsting road, getting out and disposal of excavated soil, etc to a distance not exc. 50 meter from the site of work complete all as directed by Engineer in charge.

M & L for Plain cement concrete 1:4:8, type D-2 (using 40 mm graded stone aggregate) as in foundation, filling and mass concrete, etc complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for Plain cement concrete 1:3:6, type C-2 (using 40 mm graded stone aggregate) as in foundation, filling and mass concrete, etc complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for plain cement concrete (1:2:4), type B1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) as in lintels upto 1.5m clear span, cills, steps; seismic and other similar bands, plinth courses, string courses, lacing courses, parapets and railings upto 60 cm in height, copings, kneelers, apex stones, bed plates, kerbs, water troughs and the like including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating, including necessary formwork complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for Steel tubular swaged poles complete with cast iron base plate, finial taper plug, bolts, nuts & screws as specified type 410 SP-31 (9.0 metres long) including one coat of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer and providing 03 Nos band/strap with black/yellow colour paint 300mm apart from the plinth block, numbering of pole painting embedded portion of pole with one coat of black bitumenous paint complete all as specified and directed. (Note : Excavation and Earth work shall be measured and paid separately)

M & L for Cross arms bracing supports clamps and back plates fabricated from structural steel sections including nut bolt washers welding bending cold or hot drilling holes for bolts in any shape or size as indicated or directed and including one primer coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer, one under coat and one finishing coat of aluminium paint complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling of insulators of any type from LT poles of any size and type and setting aside complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for pin type porcelain vitreous white/brown insulator including one galvanised mild steel spindle two galvanised iron nut 100 mm height 65 mm dia suitable for 1100 volts grade complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for shackle type porcelain, insulator vitreous, white, brown or green, including galvanised mild steel, straps, washers, insulator bolts, washers and nuts, 100 mm height and 115 mm dia, size of strap 31 mm x 5 mm and dia of bolt 14 mm suitable for 1100 volts complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for loop type insulator, vitreous porcelain, white, brown or green of overall dimension 65 x 90 mm, clearance of hole 25.5 mm etc complete all as specified and directed.

S & F aluminium conductor steel reinforced (ACSR) conductor including binding, straining in LT over head line including all jumper connection and binding on insulator with new wire complete all as specified and directed.

Re-straining and tightening of existing serviceable ACSR conductor of any size without taking down including all arangement and including binding wire 2 mm dia and colour sleeve Jumpers complete all as specified and directed.

S & F in repair jumper made of ACRS conductor of suitable size and binding with and including aluminium binding wire properly on the existing LT OH line complete all as specified and as directed .

S & F PVC/fibre separator for LT over head line 1100 volts conductor 3/4 wire system for horizontal spacing of conductor complete with nuts and bolts minimum 2 Nos to prevent the line touching each other on heavy wind including taking down old separator complete all as specified and as directed .

M & L for galvanised steel continuous earth wire 3.15mm or 4 mm dia suitable for LT over head line complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for galvanised steel earth wire 4 mm dia (hexagonal/rectangular) used for craddle guarding suitable for LT/HT over head line complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for Stay assembly complete with all accessories as shown in electrical plate No 1 of MES Schedule Part I dia of stay rod 20mm with and including 7 / 3.15 mm galvanised stay strand complete all as specified and directed. (Note : Loop insulator, excavation & earthwork and cement concrete measured and paid separately under relevant items of this Schedule.)

Trimming of tree branches around the overhead conductor, poles & stays (not less than 3 metre) to clear the approach of overhead lines including removing of nest, wild grass creepers, unwanted vegetation, etc from pole/stay including cleaning of creepers climbed on poles and angles, channels and disposed off from site beyond 50m and upto a total distance of 250m complete all as specified and directed by the Engr-in-Charge.

M & L for Preparation of old painted surface above the planting depth/PCC coping of steel tubular LT pole upto 11.00 metre long including MS clamps, cable protection pipe, bracket fitted with steet light fittings etc by scraping with steel wire brush and applying one coat of aluminium paint to external surface of poles, MS cross arms, MS clamp, cable protection pipe etc to give even shade including 5 Nos strips painting of 300mm high each around the pole with two different colour (black/yellow) of synthetic enamel paint and numbering of poles complete all as specified and as directed by the Engr-in-Charge.

M & L for Preparation of old painted surface above the planting depth/PCC coping of Pre-stressed LT concrete pole upto 11.00 metre long by two coats of cement base paint including MS clamps, cable protection pipe, bracket fitted with steet light fittings etc by scraping with steel wire brush and applying one coat of aluminium paint to MS cross arms, MS clamp, cable protection pipe etc to give even shade and numbering of poles complete all as specified and as directed by the Engr-in-Charge.

S & F in repair PVC insulated and FRLS PVC Round Sheathed, multi-stranded Copper Conductor (flexible) industrial cable, 1100 Volt, conforming to IS 694 of size 1.5 Sqmm 3 core nominal cross sectional areacomplete all as specified and directed.

Supply and laying cable XLPE insulated screened, PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured, LT electric power cables (heavy duty) 1100 volts grade with stranded aluminium conductor conforming to IS-7098 (Part-I) 1988 of size 16 Sqmm 2 core including connection by using suitable size of aluminium thimbles, connectors, cable glands, bolts, nuts etc including taking up/down existing unserviceable cable complete all as specified and directed.
